Hi, is it possible to undefine a constant?Let's say i type: A:=5And now i want to undefine it again so it looks like this: A=? (this variable is undefined)>> Mathcad Prime 2.0

I'm trying to process a set of data that I have for limits generation. I am using MathCad to validate some limit generation algorithms that we will be using in a software tool that we are developing (no relation to Mathcad).So, I have a problem:The summation function only seems to work on matrixes and tables of less than a certain size:If I define y_n to be a subset of the tables that I have, I get a summation. But if I try to sum an entire column, I get the error you see.I have tried using a for loop to manually sum the elements of the table, but I get the same result as above. I will also get an error if I set the range variable n (in the screenshot above) to be 0...20 (or greater).What am I doing wrong?

I have a 8 cond groupshape whos cores/conductors goes from 8 seperate instances of the the same blockshape and terminate in freespace.It works fine going from connector to connector. By that I mean if I route each end to the first port on a 8pos connector the other seven populate automatically. But how do I route each conductor indivdually like here.Here is the message i get after placing the first conductor:Start the fiber by probing on a port or branch, or use the shortcut menu to start in free spaceChoose a port or highway to terminate. Right now my mathcad is crashed but i will type the general formatI'm having issues with the following solve block, any pointers?guess: X1:=0.1 X2:=0.1 X3:=0.1 X4:=0.1Constraint: Tmp = 4100/(300-ln(X1)) Tmp= 6600/(500-ln(X2)) Tmp = 7000(450-ln(X3)) Tmp = 4100/(280-ln(X4)) x1+x2+x3+x4=1Result: T:=find(X1,X2,X3,X4)I keep getting no solve. Hello community,I'm a student and at the university we start using creo 1.0. My problem is that I can't use it correctly because of an graphic problem. The part of window I draw is completly twisted. It's like I'm looking looking from the back of the screen and the courser is mirroed about the middle of the screen. I am trying to print my Creo 2.0 drawing but the dimensions are not lining up correctly. I have tried increasing the quality as well as printing to PDF and hardcopy with all of the same results. I am trying to change the way we use Intralink here. Previously, we alerted the promoter that something needed promoting manually. I want Intralink to e-mail the promoter. I know it can do this, because I have seen it in the past.I have spoken to IT and they have 'created an internal route on the gateway to allow the server to email out'.My e-mail address is set up in Intralink.However, when I send myself a RTP form, I receive no email. The RTP form is there, all present and correct.IT tell me I need to 'configure the application smtp relay & port as follows:-SMTP address - whatever they sayPort - likewiseIs this true? Hello all,this should be simple - can't I prefix comment lines with the hash (#) symbol in the config.pro file?Thought that was the way to do it, but recently noticed that the std.out file lists my comment lines as an error. Why is it that mathcad is having trouble solving with units? Normally when I want to make a calculation with alot of units, it is no problem, or if I solve the equation my self and then hit the equal sign, there are no problems.But when i use the solve or given/find function I will have to copypaste the result, remove alle the units, and then it works? It is like it gets confused with all the units

I want to repeat the attached process several times in a single mathcad sheet, but the inbut variables need to be different variables.Is there an easy and quick way to do it?Is there such a thing as a function file in MathCAD. I have used them before in another program called Matlab and they are very effectiveat performing repetetive processes.

In the attached MathCAD 14 worksheet, M(x) is a function of 5 other functions. I'd like MathCAD to tell me what the maximum value of M(x) is. Is there anyway to do this?

I'm starting to use CREO simulate 2.0 because of its ability to analyse assemblies with both contacts and large deformation (I'm still designing my parts and assemblies with WF5).Unfortunately, I'm stuck in a "Decomp. Singular Stiffness Matrix. Recovering..." kind of loop (an analysis can run a couple of hours instead of a few minutes).The assembly and analysis definitions were made in WF5 and opened/run with creo simulate 2.0.Does anyone already have this kind of issue and know how I could get rid of it ?Thanks ! Is there a way to force a carriage return in a weld note reference? Right now I just have a second note near the weld note. Hello,This is my first post. I have been trying to get the ODESOLVER to work in the PRIME 2.0. It took me awhile to get even the help examples to work. I think I figured out that you have to use the ctrl+= when you set the constraints like in MATHCAD 15, but the help files do not tell you that. I figured that out by watching some u-tube videos.In any case, I am trying to solve a simple ODE to plot the displacement of a particle given a velocity function. The application is applying ocean wave theory.Any help would be appreciated, I have spent too much time trying to figure out this simple problem so I can then add other velocity compents to get my final answer.My file is attached.Thanks.John T.

I have a roughing sequence with a sketched window.750 diameter high feed mill pictured below.It works great. I then do a rerough to tighten up the corners with a solid carbide .375 high feed end mill and it drops into the core holes. I don't want it to drop into the core holes but I don't see a way to exclude surfaces in the re - rough routine. with regular volume roughing with a mill window. you can exclude surfaces? am I missing an exclude command somewhere or did that get left out of the rerough.anyone have any ideas?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi there,I am working with multiple version of MathCAD (don't ask my why, I know it is stupid but I have no other choice) to construct some worksheets (version 13.1 and 14).Now, in one worksheet I use the function 'lsolve()' to solve linear system of equations Ax=b. Where 'A' is an mxn matrix with m>n and 'b' is an 'mx1' matrix.In MathCAD 14, the 'help' explains that, if the system of equations is inconsistent (e.g. if m>n) lsolve returns the least-squares solution of the system. In the help of MathCAD 13 this is not stated.My question now is, what does lsolve() return in MathCAD 13 if the system of equations is inconsistent?thx,rubseveni

I'm having some problems solving a quadratic equation. It's telling me one of my values should be a scalar, but I had units in functions before. I've attached the problem. Basically, I want to get my positive root (should be in length units) out of this, which represent depth to the netural axis of my section.Thanks

Hello PTC Community, I have problems solving a system of 5 differential equations simultaneously by using ODESOLVE in Mathcad Prime 2.0. I tried other solvers too, but i have the most experience with odesolve. I just don't get the solver to work, no matter what I do. Could you please take a look at my file and tell me, if I have some Syntax-mistakes or anything like it. The equations should be able to calculate the dispersion of gas, leaking out of a ruptured vessel in a cylindric form. u represents the speed of the flowing gasb is the radius of the cylinderTheta is the angle between the direction of the gas and the horizonc is the concentration of the leaking gasT is the temperature of the flowAll those five dependent varibles depend on the independant variable sL, which represents the distance of the center of the cylindric flow to its origin at the ruptured vessel. Am i maybe using the wrong solver? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.Tim

What is the list of API integrations that are available for MKS Source Integrity. For instance I know there is a MKS integration for working in IBM Rational Developer and there used to be a MKS integration for Visual Basic 6. Is there a MKS integration available for more recent versions of Microsoft Visual Studio ? Thank you.

This seems like it should be fairly simple - go to "open" and bring in a *.pts file. But when I go to bring in a file, Creo doesn't even see the files, regardless of whether I tell it to look for all or just "*.pts". I've seen the actual physical data in the file and I can access it both in notepad and excel - in both cases, the coordinates are separated by spaces and not tabs. I've included sample data from the file and I'm not sure why I can't pull it into Creo.
