Hi All,I am new to Creo, but have done a bit of design (including stents) on Unigraphics/NX and Solidworks.I am trying to model a stent (such as seen below) for export to Abaqus for FE and CFD. I've tried a few different approaches, all that have ended up with me bashing my head on my desk from not understanding Creo's features.My main strategy has been to start with a unit cell (or part of one), and tessellate it through the pattern function.I start with a sketch of half a unit cell:Then I sweep a rectangular cross section along the initial sketch. I then mirror the resulting solid twice to get the other half of the unit cell.Then I make the unit into a pattern of 5x20 unit cells. This is where things get messy (although this could be a symptom of doing something wrong earlier?). The cells don't quite align nicely - there is either overlap or underlap. Hi,I have a problem plotting some data generated in a matrix derived from a nested FOR loop. I seem to have lots of problems with nested loops. The calculation proceedure is calculating fatigue crack growth from an initial crack size (depth = a and length = 2c) when exposed to stress levels applied a number of times in a block (day). The output matrix X looks to have the right data in columns but this does not seem to plot correctly?Is there a problem with the FOR loop logic/syntax or the way I am calling the data up for the plot?Any assistance would be appreciated.Thanksross

Hi,i have created a report using query builder to get all the activities of PR, the owner of the activity, the time when activity was assigned, the time when the activity was completed and the time taken for each activity to be completed. I also want to get the vote of the activity in this report but not able to get it, i have got the table in which the vote are stored i.e wf voting event audit. the tables used by me for this report are- wf assigned activity, work item and problem report table. Please help in how i can include the vote of the task in the report, the required joins for it.

As the states, MathCAD isn't symbolically integrating my formula. Also, it is saying that dpdT isn't defined whe it is and I've used it in the previous integration. Any and all help is appreciated.

Hello!I would like to ask you how to cope with a table that needs description, by that i mean f.ex. row's name. Below I attached a screenshot from Excel. Is it possible to do sth like that in MathCad? Moreover I would like to oparate later on rows, f.ex. new row which is the result of substraction of 2 predecessors.It should be presented in a clear form (technical report) I am beginner with that programme and have no idea how to do it. And is it possible to somehow fill in table descrption ranges of load (like in the first row below)? Thank you all for help and advices.

I have to create a program using the multiple-application trapezoidal rule. I'm not sure what else I need to add into the program. It keeps saying my f(x) variable is undefined. I've tried a few things and nothing is working. Thanks for any/all help.

I wrote a program in the mathcad for the first time , the program creates a few matrixes and vectors . which are unfortunately not equal in size , therefore can't be augmented .is there any way i can extract them all out in seperate matrixes from the program?

In another thread there was a WS posted with a strange effect. Two variables with the same name are declared, all have the same style (variable) but nevertheless they are different. The red highlighted variable is the strange one, I can't type it, just copy and paste.Can anybody explain whats going on here?

This is theoretical at this point, so I do not have an example spreadsheet.If I want to use minimize() on 4,000 input vectors (the input vectors helps determine constraint values, so different input vectors result in different outputs) do I have to use the programming functionality of MathCad to loop through the input vectors one at a time or there some way that I can feed in all 4,000 vectors it once and have it return 4,000 answers at once?

I have two sheet metal parts that are mirror images of each other and refer back to an External Copy Geometry. The one on the right works, the one on the left does not. I have used the exact same process on either part. If it works on one side it should work on the other side. The AbortSubmit.js script that comes with the ALM solution is supposed to abort a submit when the established rule is true. If it is true an error message is displayed of your choosing when you create the pre-trigger. The problem I am having is with the rule I've created. It keeps saying it is true, which essentially displays the error message.My ruleand |-or | |- Comments = - Unspecified - | |- Comments[New Value] = - Unspecified - | |-or |- Status = N/A |- Status[New Value] = N/AComments field is a longtext data typeStatus field is a picklist data typeUsing this rule an abort submit error should only fire if the Status=N/A and Comments= - Unspecified - (I.E. the text box is blank). However, it fires every time. Is there something wrong with my rule? Is it possible to check if a text field is blank or empty?

So, I have no end to the problems in trying to check in dwgs/models. Especially since Windburn wants to check out and change EVERYTHING, instead of only the objects I actually change. From the Windburn screen I had no end to the problems, and 2 full days of wasted time and countless re-boots. Then, I try and check in the file while in Pro/E, and it (supposedly) worked quickly and easily. Huh???Why is the Pro/E side of it a LOT less problematic? More like the way it SHOULD be?

Creo 2, M040 I swear I remember seeing that there was an enhancement in WF5 or maybe Creo 1 to allow you to sketch a series of lines, multiple open sections, and extrude that as a thin feature.  They showed it creating a network of ribs in a plastic part. I’m trying to do this in an internal sketch (a simple T) in an extruded thin and Creo 2 is giving me the same old ‘ multiple loops must be closed’ error.  I tried again with an external sketch and got ‘Intersecting entities encountered in the section’ and Creo refused to use the sketch. Am I dreaming about these extruded ribs?  If not, how do I do this?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. how can i set the different column width in the style sheet for the table?there are three tables which are finished by three guys, but the column width is different in different table, can i set the column width in the style sheet to keep them accordance? thanks!
