I am playing around with this on my server and I am running into this issue. This article seems to point to the issue: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS371380?source=search So my master site is handled by the Administrator's group with I think is default OOTB. The major draw to using security labels is that we can restrict access to objects, even the administrators. This seems to be telling me that I need to include site administrators to the group that is allowed to see content with these restrictive labels. Bummer. I get publishing and I am ok with that. I can also see using wcadmin and not the group since wcadmin should not be used ever to access data as a normal user.    This was odd to stumble into this since the user that I am logged in as is part of the unrestricted principal members but not wcadmin. I just don't see how the extra check for the principal for the site mattered.

I have 5 columns in infotable. When Distinct API used for first two columns together, the output infotable should have 5 columns with the distinct values of first 2 columns. How to do this

We setup Thingworx Navigate with Windchill Authentication and had assumed the 'My Tasks' task would show tasks from Windchill e.g. Windchill 'Work Items', but it doesn't seem so. Is it correct that only External Tasks for the Out of Box Change Request Workflow of Windchill 12.0 and onwards are shown?

Hello, I created baseline for an assembly model in Windchill;Later, I opened this baseline version assembly model in Creo.And I add some 3D parts to this baseline version assembly.My question is: how can I save this modified 3D assembly to a new baseline?Does any one know how to do this, Or some alternate solution

I have a WTPart ID "OR:wt.part.WTPart:4911695" I have DescribedBy and Reference Documents associated with it. How to retrieve the documents information using the part id or WTPartDescribeLink or  WTPartReferenceLink? What does the EndPoint URL look like? 

I have a top level BOM that list all my parts with a column that calls out what page each component/item is on. Multiple components are shown on various D size prints with a "part" BOM located below each item. The "part" BOM is automatically populated with &sheet_number. The top level BOM, however, is not tied to this &sheet_number and can not auto populate. I understand repeat regions would tie them together (&asm.mbr.sheet), but I'd have to manually type the number in. The problem with that, parts tend to switch pages etc..... I just want the sheet number to auto populate on both BOM's without ever needing to be manually entered.  Is this possible? I thought I had it working, but I was wrong.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS16If you open a document in windchill through CreoView, you can view the original file in the system cache. Can you prevent users from viewing the original file directly?

How many images can be uploaded to the Thingworx database .??any limitations on it?

I have enormous number of .xmcd files needed to be converted to .mcdx. Inside most of them there are links to each other. Considering nested structure of my files and the fact that you can not choose the whole folder for nested convertion in built-in MathCAD Prime Converter I need to automate at least filling Converter with list of files. Would be even better - to make the whole process fully automatic. Have someone done this before? Is there any API for the Converter? Nothing like that was found by me in the PTC support database 😞There is some kind of workaround - to generate multiple paths to files relative to the root folder and join them with " "`s but resulting string is far too long to be accepted by the FilePickupDialog of the Converter. Too many files needed to be converted.

We are trying to achieve communication from Kepware to Kepware, when i am trying to generate tags the following error is being encountered.Failed to Connect to UA server 'opc.tcp://10.XX.XX.12:49320' for browsing.  

Currently using, Prime 9.0.0.0. In ANY version, is there a way to have a simple database query like return "weight" from "AISC Shapes.xlsx" where "Name" = "C10x15.3"? Or workaround? Is it possible with the tables you can create in Mathcad? I can create the table if need be.Thank you in advance.  

Hi folks!I have one issue that I can't solve on my own, perhaps someone could help me with it. Since I have to use a different balloon text height from the main text height, I manually change it every time creating an assembly drawing. Is there a way to input an exclusive balloon text height in prodetail file? I couldn't find the necessary parameter there.Please note that I'm talking about the text size, not the min/max balloon radius. Thanks in advance!

Hey!I have licence problem after installation Creo 10.0 - student version. I start the program and I always recieve a messege: I have to renew my licence. I don't know why, because I used the right code from PTC's website.I've also got a 'txt' file per email (Creo licence), but I don't know exactly, in which order should I copy it after dowload. Thanks for the answers!        

I use the student version of PTC prime 9.0 on my office computer (windows). Primarily I remote in from my Macbook, but periodically I receive the issue:Cannot checkout an uncounted license within a Windows Terminal Services guest session. Is there a way to solve this issue remotely? As a student I don't have support phone service

When i want to register and have free mathcad trial there is written that can reached maximum number of licens. I have this program on my PC and i wanted the same program on my laptop. Why cant i have same program on other device?

This is a new installation for test and development, connected to our Windchill dev/test system which is configured SSL/HTTPS with CA signed certificates. We set up a Thingworx Platform server (MSSQL) SSL with self-signed certs installed Thingworx Flow, and then we installed Thingworx Navigate with fixed authentication and did some setup, generated app keys, did some training and tests etc with the Administrator user. Then we decided the next step should be to configure the Windchill Authentication but after running the Navigate Configurator and setting up the Windchill Authentication successfully the Thingworx Administrator user is gone? We can login to Thingworx Composer/Flow/Navigate as Windchill users, e.g. wcadmin account.

Good day,I am encountering a customer if we can run Creo Parametric 10.0 on MacOS via Parallels (similar with bootcamp emulator of MAC to make it windows OS) . We know that Creo has no version for MacOS but once Parallels was used will be there an issue or problem with it still? Let me know also if there is a article case of creo connected with Parallels. Thank you.
