Hello-  I'm looking for some guidance on an analysis that I setting up inside Creo Simulate.  I'm using some contact interfaces to allow rotation about a set of pins and it seems that Creo is ignoring these interfaces without warning, but it is evident in the results.  I've added a screen shot of the problem (see below). Rotation is permissible between the red pins and the light blue parts (hence the use of contact interfaces).  With a load applied in the vertical direction (down) on the brown component, the gray actuator reacts this load and keeps it in position. This has a similar setup using contact interfaces but Creo seems to calculate this properly in the results. Can anyone offer any insight on why Creo would be ignoring these interfaces?  Any solutions that would correct this? 

I would like to write the text HONDA with the Honda font on a part. I found the font online in ttf format, installed it on my computer (word sees it). I added pro_font_dir paramater to the config and pointed it to the default windows font directory. I restarted Creo and I can see now a lot of the windows font in the list when I create the text sketch, but the Honda font is missing.

Dear community, I am using textfield widgets to support building a SQL statement, including the where clause. Unfortunately textfields show a weird behavior when entering "<>", the characters seem to be interpreted and replaced by other characters. The replacing characters consume more space, the rest of the text is visibly moving to the right. This reminds me of MS Office where for example a dash automatically starts a bullet list. This could be nice in some cases but here I certainly do not want any kind of this interpretational behavior. When I try to export parts as 3mf or stl, curves, especially circles tend to be quite low poly. I don't know if this is because I am doing someting wrong or if this is just the way it is. I've had to resort to exporting as step and converting it in another programme. I am using CREO Student Edition 7.0.9.

What are the steps to export the info from Change Notice:process status shown below to a pdf  file ?  I need to create a list of roles,user name, vote, completed date, comments.   

Hi Community, I have installed ThingWorx Flow and configured it with Windchill Server. For Testing purpose I tried creating a sample Workflow which will use GetViewables to retrieve windchill visualizations as 3D thumbnails. Could you please suggest how I can display this on ThingView Widget?What should be next step to retrieve list of CAD Documents and Parts and display it on a ThingWorx UI. Thanks,Siddharth   

As you can see, the diameter 26 is the dimension from the modeling.Underneath that, the orange 0.51 is a straight line sketch I made and dimensioned.Now, even though it's the same straight line, one is 26 in diameter and one is 0.51.Why is this wrong??? (The drawing is scaled 1:1 to the geometry.) Sure, I know how to temporarily swap them, via the Dimension Text setting, as shown below, but I don't want to go through the following process every time I sketch... I'm wondering if there is a way to draw a sketch and have the resulting dimensions match the ones from the modeling.

I didnt have any problem during file download and unzipping the file . The problem arised when I entered my creo parametric licenses Uni code and clicked Install. After 3 sec i get a error message i have tried multiple times and even reinstalled windows 11 but there was no use for it. pls kindly contact me and look forward this issue . i use a Hp laptop with windows 11 23h2 Version and i am unable to install creo 9

I am also interested in how to structure a query to InfluxDB with the Flux API, mainly for the time grouping and functions that are available OOTB. I have a parent mashup where there are two mashup containers. One of the mashups in the containers have custom CSS. However, this custom CSS is also affecting the other contained mashup. How do i prevent that from happening? This is the CSS is one of the mashups: rect { fill: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); !important }  I just want to hide the rectangle in that certain mashup, but it ends up hiding the other rectangle in the second mashup too.

Hi have successfully compiled the multiply(a,M) example custom function but have a few questions. Q1> Do you compile for x86 or x64 seeing as PTC Prime is 64 bit? Q2> Where do you find the custom functions as neither the Prime menu or the search for all functions has a section for custom functions?  Mathcad 15 search had a specific spot. Cheers Terry

I need a way to edit a problem report and pick a user (from an intelligent search UI) to apply to the Creator Role, replacing whoever is there, or at least updating a separate attribute. We have people on the shop floor that don't have the authority, training, or computer to create their own PRs, so a manager often creates it for them. However, when questions arise, we need to know who identified the problem originally. The PR currently has an attribute (string) to capture who identified the problem but names can be entered in a variety of ways (first last, last first, first.last, using initials, using nicknames, etc). Because of this, generating reports that identify specific individuals doesn't work as there could be any number of different Jon Doe's all indicating the same person. Hello, PTC community,   I defined a function in Mathcad prime 9 for plotting the displacement response (Y-axis) versus time (X-axis). This plot is for a single time period T.  I want to get the maximum displacement (Y-value) from the graph for each time period T.   For example, I want the maximum displacement values from the plot for Time period T if T= 0.02, 0.2, 4. eg T= 0.2        max. displacement: xx T:0.4          max. displacment xxx and so on.   I attached the mathcad file and it imports a text file containing earthquake data which is also attached for your reference.    I would really appreciate your help.   Thanks, Abdur    

Hello, I am currently working on my Bachelor's thesis, which focuses on information models for automation with OPC UA. I have a question regarding the integration of information models: Is it possible to incorporate OPC UA Companion Specifications from the OPC Foundation or to include self-modeled information models? Additionally, can the received tags be mapped onto alternative tag names or types derived from an information model? Is there an easy way to set materials for imported parts? We import a lot of customer data via STEP or IGES files and need to set either the density or the material, but they all need to be the same. The goal is to set the import files near zero and add a cube with the correct weight and CG location. I had a process in Creo 5, but we just updated to Creo 10 and that process no longer works.
