Dear community,my question is if from Creo (we're currently on Creo 7) is possible to create a shrinkwrap that starts shrikwrapping parts from, for example, the level 3 of the tree?The purpose is to then deliver a light model in a 3D navigator where you start from a very lightweight model and then if there's the need to navigate deeper the asm of the shrinkwrap will be downloaded on demand.We're ok with the navigator but we're still having issued getting a shrinkwrap like this.Our models are very big and we can't make shrinkwraps of sub parts manually. ThanksBR

Hello All,I have 2 variables; one is pipe material and second one is temperature at 50/100°F increment.By selecting Material data from drop down list and temperature. It will throw allowable stress value. Is it possible to add interpolation formula if temperature value is other than what is available in the combo box.For example, for P11 material at 825°F, allowable stress value is 14200psi by using interpolation method.

Does anyone have a best practice set of guidelines for creating a dev environment for testing and also upgrading Windchill? I have two dev environments, one is sandboxed into a private LAN that has no ingress/egress with my Prod environment. I have three servers in each windchill instance running windows server 2019 : an application PDM Link 11.1 server, An oracle 19c server also running windows, and a publisher server running creo parametric 7.0.6.0 also on Windows 2019. The problem is that the data on it is old, I basically created from a VMware clone that was renamed and given new network private assignments. Getting data into and out of this sandbox is problematic. The other dev environment is on the same LAN as my Prod environment, i use different host names and the dev server has a host file with aliases in them to redirect. The problem is I cant find a satisfactory and safe way where both PROD and DEV can be turned on and coexist on the same LAN. Does anyone else here do this wi

I am running Windchill PDM Link 11.1 CPS 20. When a user retires of leaves the company I have an account that can be disabled or removed from Windchill DS and Windchill. My question is what happens to their license allocation? Do I get those back?For example each Windchill user expends or gets one of these licenses in 11.1  PTC mechanical Design I License PTC IP Protection License PTC EBOM Mgmt LicensePTC Author LicenseWould I get these back each time I remove a user from Windchill or is there some other process.

Hi all, I have a UDF that is a sketched hole. All I am trying to do is edit the sketch to change the angle from 60 degrees to 65 degrees.   How can I modify this sketch? I know I can modify it on the fly, but I want to revise this UDF so when other people use it they don't have to modify the dimension on the fly.   When I go into the UDF Library and choose modify, there is no way for me to modify the original sketch. Also, I can't add the 60 degrees as a dimension on the family table.

Is there a way to determine which PlatformId is assigned to a node that is running a service?  In the logs you can see the Platform ID column indicating which node logged each log message and there is the GetPlatforms() service on the PlatformSubsystem but that only lists all of them and does indicate which node is running the code. I'm needing to expand the solution provided by Desheng to provide more insight and understanding about when a ScheduledEvent occurs and the task is "submitted" on the singleton server and when it is invoked on the endpoint on some other node and mark it as "completed."  If there is some type of error with PostJSON() we won't know because that service is async.  I have implemented a mechanism to track the "submitted" tasks and then either delete them or mark them as complete when invoked on the endpoint but I'd like to also include which node (PlatformId) the endpoint is being executed on.  Is this possible? @dxu

We have two people working on one document instance.  The license is up for renewal for one in March, and the other in November.   The one in March more than likely will update to new 8.2.0.0 while the other will still be on 8.1.2.1.   Will there be any compatibility issues, or any noticeable differences on publish using Arbortext publisher option?

Hello, I am looking for documentation regarding the dynamic configuration of the grid widget using the JSON configuration binding. So far I have only been able to find this page in the help center but I feel it is a little bit lacking in what can be done through the configuration. Is there standard used for this that I can google? Or how can I figure out myself what the style options are for example? I am trying to set the grid header label size and weight, but haven't been able to figure out where to set it. So any help in with documentation or describing how it works would be much appreciated. Thanks,Jens
