Hello everyone, I'm new to TWX w/ Kepware. I've create multiple "remote thing" from "industrial gateway". Which is better? To create many "remote thing" (based on groups) or one "remote thing" (no grouping). I'm concerned about communication performance. Pls advise. Thanks

Good day to all users! During creating of the calculation in mathcad 15 I faced a error in cycle -"array index is invalid for this array". You can see this at the end of file. I have correct cycle without array, but i can't do it with array. The number of this array elements is small - 146. What is the error of this calculation?   thanks in advance!

ModelCHECK (MC) is returning an error that I don't know how to get rid of.  In the user_words we have the lines: DE-ENERGIZEDDE-ENERGIZEDE-ENERGIZES   Yet, Creo is returning DE as a spelling error.  Does anyone know how to not return an error when it is part of an acceptable hyphenated word?  

Hi All,   I have made a mashup with a led display that gets its data from a service. This data changes every second. I have used the auto refresh function explained by the guide. It works great. Now I added a contained mashup. This mashup also uses the same the service as the parent mashup and updates a led display inside contained mashup. I did this to see if both the mashup refreshes or not. This is just a sharing post. My company completed a major step in our divestiture from RTX. Shout out to @ShawnLothrop and the Boston Engineering team for their help. After a clone/split/delete project, it was time to lift and shift Windchill to our new network. The rehost was a snap with a good architecture setup suggestion from BE (running with a proxy server).  So, one of the things we had to do was update the LDAP and Oracle tables since each user was getting a new userid and email address.   1. Updating WindchillDS LDIF: This was done with an LDIF export and "sed" command. Looks like something like this: sed -e "s/joe.schmo@oldcompany.com/jschmo@newcompany.com/" -e "s/joe.schmo/jschmo777/" -e "s/jane.doe@oldcompany.com/jdoe@newcompany.com/" -e "s/jane.doe/jdoe523/" ... <sourceLDAP_5_28_2021_orig.ldif>sourceLDAP_5_28_2021_new.ldif Key was to do the email FIRST then the username. We have Navigate connected and authenticating to Windchill. Since Navigate is case sensitive for user ids, all of our ids in Windchill are lowercase. There is a feature where if the user uses uppercase, Thingworx will create a new account but still let them login.  How can we disable this (auto account creation)? I cannot seem to find an article or doc on this.

I have put a label in a mashup & data for that label is coming from a service. That service is being invoked by an auto-refresh function. It is working as expected when that mashup is run solely. But when I open that mashup from another mashup, using the navigation function, the auto-refresh doesn't seem to work at all.

But I am still not clear on the implementation of it. Can you please help me with how to configure Thingwatcher and test it.  

Dear Sir or Madam,I have a problem signing in for the Free Trial of Thingworx Developer.   After going through all the steps of registration (see attachment), I get the message "Create your account". I do not receive a verification message by email. I couldn't find anything similar online.   Context: I'm building a POC of an application with an OPC UA client in it. For that I'm using node-opcua opensource product.  I'm using KEPServerEX 6.10 as an OPC UA server.   Use case: I have a basic script that reads a value attribute from the server. The node is pre-configured and comes out of the box with Kepware Server. Node ID is ns=2;s=Simulation Examples.Functions.Sine1. The script establishes a connection with the server, creates a session, reads a values, closes the session, disconnects from the server.   Expected behaviour: Each script invocation should return a simulated sinusoid value.   Actual behaviour: First script invocation returns 0 (zero) value. Response status code is 0 (Good). Subsequent request if it happens within 5 seconds, returns a legit sinusoid value, e.g. 0.20106108486652374. I figured "Tag Cache T
