Hi, For a current customer I am trying to implement a service that will record the Fault messages of the machine. I've set up an infotable property on the asset that would house the recorded faults. I've also set up a data table holding the fault code reference document that has a numerical code and string for each fault.   What I need to do, is when an Alert on the faulted PLC tag is triggered, to get the numerical code from a seperate PLC tag, reference that code in the data table, get the string equivalent, then add a row with all that information to my asset fault history infotable property.   I cannot get my javascript code to work, I'll paste below what I have currently, I am wondering now if it is easier to use data tables for both tables listed above or if this set up should work?   To clarify, I am using a configured Alert on the Faulted property (boolean) to trigger a subscription with the following code:   var PLCFaultCode = me.Current_Fault_Code;var prop

Hi,I've a problem with the 'explicit'-command. The inserted values of the calculated equations are displayed as an unusual long number. I just want a number with max three decimal places after the comma.How can i fix this problem?Kind regardsMarco

Hi together,   in Creo View on my iPad I see a sandwich button (green circled in picture) in the pre-installed example for opening a overview of all views. I've loaded a pvz from Creo Illustrate 6.0 with several views and sequences onto the iPad. I can open it, but the Button is missing, I can only see one view. Can anyone help?   Cheers whity

I am trying to remake a model I have in fusion 360 in Creo and This tool is seriously infuriating me. This is why I am turning to the community for help.   I am trying to dimension a square so that it is 5.5mm from the line on the right but creo automatically selects the line on the left and I have spent a good hour trying to change it so that it references from the right but I can't figure it out. The dimensionning tool IN GENERAL, doesn't ever work. I have never been able to click on it, then click on a segment I want to dimension and have it complete successfully.   Please, someone help me, am I dumb or is it the software that's dumb?   help  

Tree Grid Advanced 4.2.0 Row Selection does not work when isEditable property is Checked.   Steps to reproduce: - Add Tree Grid Advanced widget (4.2.0) on your mashup - Bind any data to it ( to be shown as in Tree structure) - Check "isEditable" property in Widget's property window - Now bind SelectedRows to any service - Set property "RowSelection" to single/multiple    Now, when you view your mashup, when data is displayed in Tree format. You can't select any row that means your SelectedRows and SelectedRowChanged are of no use.   And when isEditable property is unchecked, it allows you to select any row in the Grid.   This is working fine with Tree Grid Advanced 3.0.6, but not with 4.2.0.  

Hello, I seem to have the issue where Creo 6 does not recognise the licence. I've read a few posts here about it, however looking at the license "sw_license_email_4531216.dat" I received, it doesn't mention version 6 at all, just 4 and 5. Does this mean my university only bought the licence for the older version? I installed v4 and that opened up fine, but it wouldn't open the files I saved at uni, so they must not be compatible.  I'm not sure what version is installed at uni yet as I've only had one lab so far, but will check next time I'm in.   Thanks

I tried equivalent functions listed in the manual https://creopyson.readthedocs.io/en/latest/modules.html for example: Called through a client session : c.drawing_get_sheet_format(1) Called from Creopyson module : creopyson.drawing.get_sheet_format(c,1) And I found that they return the same result. Please ignore the specific example of "get_sheet_format" my question is : why there are two ways to call the same function?

My company is using Creo 6.0 and we have the Creo Design Essentials (T1) package.  When I select "check screw fasteners", I get the message that this function is not included with the standard version.  Does the (T1) package only include the standard version or should it be the full version?   If it does include the full version, how do I get the license for Intelligent Fasteners to load?   Thanks

Hello guys,   i already created different user and user groups with different permissions in Thingworx Composer. When the Thingmark is scanned I have to LogIn with User Name and password because of the authentification needed for Thingworx data. Now i want to display the actual authentificated user of the experience in the status bar above.  Do you have any solutions how to display the logged in user?Thank you for the help.   Best regards Marco

Hello everyone,   In the legacy version of the Listwidget one was able to to Statebased formatting for the Rows. Now I don't see this option in the new Listwidget.   Have I just overseen it or is it simply not possible? If its not possible, does anyone know whether this feature will be added in the future?   Any hints on that are appreciated very much.   Best Regards, Dominik

Hi all,   I am creating a service which calls an external API using the Put JSON content loader function. I am having a problem with the content part of the params in the function where Thingworx expects me to send a JSON object but the API expects to receive an array of objects.   What I want to do:       var params = { headers: {headers_here}, url: url_here //Thingworx expects content to be wrapped in {} but I need it to be [] content: [{object: here}, {object: here}, {object: here}] };       I don't get any errors on Thingworx but it doesn't change anything on the external API side. It works when sending through Postman so I suspect Thingworx is doing something behind the scenes to change the format of the data.    Any help would be brilliant

Hi everyone, let me start by saying I am very new in Thingworx.   My goal is to use MsSQL database to log data coming in through Kepware (OPC). I am trying to do so using a Value Stream, pointing locally to a thing which contains all the data I want to store, and a Persistence Provider that connects it to my database in MsSQL. All the properties have the checkbox "logged" active, and Data Change Type is set to "Always". The data is coming in fine, and I also verified connection to the database with an additional thing using the MSSqlServer template. This thing is configured exactly like the persistence provider (using JDBC driver and connection string) and I can successfully send queries to the database.   I do not get any error message in the diagnostic logs, nor configuration errors, but the properties I have configured in the Value Stream are not coming into the MsSQL tables (or no table is being created in the database).   Am I doing something entirely wrong? Or is t

Hi,   I'm having Service which will returns the Mashup name as result output based on condition. I will bind the service result (Mashup Name) to the navigation widget. Here we can assign only the fixed popup width and height . This popup size will be same for All popups. But My requirement is I want to Show the Popups with different size based on mashup name. I know that some restrictions exist for naming of container in Windchill. Does it exist also some restriction in usable characters for number or name for EPMdocument WTPart or WTdocument? Is it also possible to forbid some extra characters in preferences or by setting a constraint in Windchill? Found today the case CS41839 which answers partially to my question and a table "Special Characters" in the help "Using Special Characters".

We are trying to read multi-valued attributes in Windchill through the odata API. However, Windchill only seems to return one of the values and does not compile it into a list. Any ideas if this can be resolved? Many thanks

Hi Guys, I have created a custom app in thingworx navigate. It is working perfectly for administrator but the same custom app is not working for non-administrator user. When i click the custom app from non-administrator user it is showing the error: Reason: 404 - Entity Not Found. If anybody knows mean let me know.  

Hello,   On the chart widgets there is a property named, YAxisFormat, that is given a default value of "0000.0". My question is, what is the format string that equates to whole numbers such as, 1, 2, 3, ... etc.?   Thanks
