It takes long time(more than or around 30 minutes) when uploading a large structured assembly. Hi, I am a newbie on Vuforia Studio. I need to know how can I pass an infotable from Vuforia to ThingWorx. I have two services in ThingWorx, first is QueryData and second is UpdateData.   I managed to pass the QueryData result into Vuforia using repeater. Inside the repeater, I use grid with 2 columns. The first column is for checkbox and the second one is for label. I did this because I can't bind my column to the checkbox label.      The idea is to edit the checkbox in Vuforia and there will be a button to trigger the UpdateData service in ThingWorx. The final result is the data will be updated and stored in database. The problem is my UpdateData service requires an infotable input and I don't know how to do that in Vuforia.   Will appreciate any helps from you guys to solve this issue. Thanks!

We have a fairly large mashup that was created in ThingWorx 8.3.3.  Mashup Builder in 8.3.3 was pretty solid - I didn't experience any bugs, at least for what I used it for.  It took a few moments to load in the Mashup Builder because the associated Thing has maybe 100 services in it.  This is my first mashup creation, and once I got the hang of expressions and routers and bindings in general, I found it fairly easy to make the mashup do what I wanted.   Then came 8.5.  We first tested an upgrade to 8.5.3 and found a bug with ptc-windchill-integration-connector.  We have several services added to that connector and in 8.5.3, I was unable import the connector from the previous build or add services to the existing connector (the Add button was always grayed out, even for Administrator).  I opened a case with PTC and found it's a bug.  I received a query to run in the ThingWorx database that enabled the "Add" button, but we still had issues getting

Hello PTC community, I've recently downloaded Creo View Express (Version 13.1.0.26 6.1.0.0) and for some reason I can't get the middle mouse wheel to spin the model.  My model is also one of the test examples from the PTC Creo View site.  When I click on the Spin Center icon (Automatic Spin Center) and then click into the space, when I move the middle mouse wheel, all that happens is that the model zooms in and out.  All other functions in the viewer seem to work fine, and I can't understand why this basic command isn't working for me. I've searched all the Youtube help videos and online support, along with this video 'An Introduction to Viewing 3D Models in Creo View' and still no luck.  If anyone could help me, I would be grateful.   Kind Regards David

Hello,   I have a content holder with two revisions, let say revision A and B. I applied on both revisions a service effectivity. Revision A is valid from 01-01-2020 till 31-03-2020. Revision B is open ended and starts on 01-04-2020.   I want to apply an service effectivity filter on an Information Structure that contains the content holder.  The result of filter must be that it shows revision A when the service effectivity is between 01-01-2020 and 31-03-2020 and show B when date is 01-04-2020 or later.   The result I get on the moment is that it only shows revision B when the applied service effectivity date is 01-04-2020 or later and the content holder is removed from the structure when the date is before 01-04-2020. It's not showing revision A.   Is it possible and if so how?

Hello,   I'm trying to filter the asset list of the asset advisor page following the information located at https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_apps/r8.5/en/#page/thingworx_apps%2FThingWorxAppsCust%2Fcustomizing_the_asset_list_filtering.html%23   I was able to successfully filter the assets by name following the example and now I wanted to filter them by my custom properties. I created the "Visible" property (BOOLEAN/STRING) on the Assets and tried to customize the AssetAdvisorPreFilter service in PTC.SCA.SCO.CustomActionHandler this way: var result = {"filters": [{"fieldName":"Visible","type":"EQ","value":"true"}]}; but it is not working at all.   Could anybody help me with how the property should be configured and on the correct result statement??   Thanks in advance.

Hi all,   I customized the filter option in the asset advisor by the following article and implemented all necessary bindings. https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_apps/r8.5/en/#page/thingworx_apps%2FThingWorxAppsCust%2Fcustomizing_the_asset_list_filtering.html%23   The filter does work with serialNumber and location,  but i want to use my own new properties (e.g. equipmentNumber). Can you help me how to implement the filter option with different properties ?     thanks!

I need to display the values of current, voltage and power in time series chart based on the check box selection. How to do this?. i) If I select Current, only Current values will be displayed in time series chart. ii) If I select Current and Voltage, both the values should be displayed in time series chart.  iii) If I select Current, Voltage and power all the values should be displayed in time series chart. iv) If I deselect any one it should not be displayed in the chart. My industrial thing is connected from Kepware to  thingworx  but while inheriting remote thing from industrial thing is not connected  i.e in industrial thing if i select discover in that selecting channel >>device>>tags and then manage binding and creating a remote thing it is not connected in thingworx. I have checked there is no problem with Application Key too. What can be the issue for remote thing not connected when industrial thing is connected Can u please provide a solution ...

Hi, Is it not possible to render a drop down based on state formatting? I created a new state definition and when I tried to bind it to the drop down to change color of one particular text that I am getting from drop down, it doesnt show any option for state formatting. There is a property 'List format' which opens only the rendering but not state.  How can I set the state formatting to a drop down? Thanks, Shalini V.

Dear All,   Is there any option for mathcad 15 to just keep the solution it arrived at before closing (and saving) the sheet for its next use ?   I mean, if I have the automatic calculation turned off, and I have some statements like a:= 5 b:=6 c:=a+b c=11                  (pressing f9 / caluculate shows the answer for the value of c)   If I save and exit, the next time I open the sheet, can I have mathcad directly show me 11 as the value of c (without me pressing f9 again) ?   Many thanks for your time in advance ! Hi folks-- I'm interested in making an independent app that does some things and then transfers the user over to Vuforia View. I know that you can do at least a few things along these lines using a "deep link" of the form:   https://view.vuforia.com/command/<some command here>?<commmand params here>   For example, you can open Vuforia View and load a specific experience with something like this (which you can see on the "Share Experience" menu in Vuforia Studio:   https://view.vuforia.com/command/view-experience?url=...   I'd like to find out what the complete list of supported commands is. I know there's also command to set the experience service URL. Are there others? Is this documented somewhere? --Clay

My understanding is that Simulation Live uses the GPU to perform calculations.  When I run a simulation on a part, task manager shows the CPU running hard and the GPU not doing very much.   Is this normal or is there a setting that I should look at to allow the GPU to take on some of the work?   CREO 4.0 GPU:  NVIDIA Quadro P4000• Version 86.4.a7.0.d• Memory ~25 GB

Here is the situation: I'm using a collection widget which displays a group of mashups for the user to select between (collection because different users will have different options) The repeated mashup in the collection contains the mashup name (in text) and a button to "navigate" to that mashup. This button triggers a Navigation function on the contained mashup. The contained mashup has a mashup parameter for the Mashup Name to navigate to, and I've bound that parameter to the "TargetMashup" property in the navigation function. Clicking the button in the contained mashup of the collection is not sending me to the navigated page.  What I've checked so far: Mashup trace is showing the Navigation function as "ServiceInvoked" but it is never completed. Team,   Customer has the following scenario: 1. They created a function to change the color of a particular object - created a function within the .JS 2. They want to execute this function everytime a particular Thing Property is within an alert range 3. In the Tomcat Security Considerations it's recommended to start Tomcat with the Security Manager. However, when I startup Tomcat with the security option I get an error containing 'java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.lang.RuntimePermission" "modifyThread")' when trying to read the platform-settings.json.   Are there any templates / best practices for how to configure the catalina.policy file with the ThingWorx webapp?
