I found few JavaScript examples, one shown below and it works fine on Windows HTA script (JavaScript).  VBA Set cAC = New CCpfcAsyncConnection ' VBA JavaScript // equivalant to the line above but in JavaScriptcAC = new ActiveXObject("pfcls.pfcAsyncConnection") // this line works fine But I can't find other equivalent statements in JavaScript like this:  VBA Set Mitem = New CMpfcModelItem JavaScript   Mitem = what? // don't know how to do this in JavaScript Also this example: VBA Dim type as EpfcFeatureTypetype = EpfcFeatureType.EpfcFEATTYPE_HOLE     JavaScript     what's the equivalent statement in javascript?   

I'm wondering if anyone has instructions on how to borrow a license with being able to return them early.  I'm looking at the PTC help site and there seems to be a couple of things that are needed but I was hoping someone had the setup in a step by step format. Thank you, Brian

Trying to install ThingWorx Foundation using the installer provided.  MSSQL server has been setup using these instructions https://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/172634/en/Getting_Started_with_MS_SQL_Server_and_ThingWorx_1.pdf The Install builder is giving me an error at the ThingWorx Foundation for MSSQL Setup part. At this point after I enter all the server connection/login information and I hit next I get this error  "thingworx database has tables prior to ThingWorx installation. Please drop tables or use a different database." I also tried creating a new database and giving it a different name (thingworkx instead of thingworx) but that didn't help either. I am really new to the ThingWorx world so any help is greatly appreciated. See screen shots for reference. I found one article but that was for PostgreSql and now MSSQL. Hi,    I was given the option to install Creo 6.0... After downloading the file and extracting it - i then ran the "Setup-school.exe" file. After installing was finished i started the program and got the following pop up message. Any help?

We are just getting configured, have 5 users to host, have them set up in the admin panel, and have the box check for being a host, yet the site https://connect.vuforia.com/ does not recognize them as a host. Any advice or help?

Hi everyone,   I am looking for help to learn how to make automation in design. I would like to create models that I can easily reuse, simply by modifying some parameters or options. For example a diameter or a length but also whether or not I want to activate this extrusion or that drilling.... etc. I already know I can automate parameters by using a simple excel sheet. I found this tutorial in video : Creo Parametric Excel Entegrasyonu - YouTube and also this one showing we even don't need to open Creo to modify the parameters (just excel) Video Link : 6428 Sadly I found nothing about how to create options on the design (extrusions, drilling, etc) Actually, only a video that shows it is possible on SolidWorks with KBEWorks. Hi!I'm trying to create a flashing effect of a model item without using Illustrate. Hi Forum, We have successfully connected Arduinos and Raspberries toTW with REST-API (https PUT requests). It is clear that the Raspberry can achiev a higher update rate than an Arduino. We have achieved an update rate of one second with the Raspberry. To monitor accelerations or movements of a CNC router for example 1Hz sampling rate is not very high. My question is if there is an other posipility to connect the Arduinos to TW to get higher update rates. My desired update rate is 10 to 5Hz. My idea is that we use a Raspberry as an Edge MicroServer (EMS) and several Arduinos which deliver the data. I read the "Setup a Raspberry Pi as an IoT Device" article but I found no way to feed the Arduino data to the EMS. Is there an other way to connect the Arduinos (ESP32) in an always on connection to achiev higher update rates? Thank you for your help Martin

I do not understand why I not get v_2 in mm and Ø_2 in rad?

I recently had help from IT to set up a remote desktop connection to my workstation. I was hoping that I could use this connection to troubleshoot manufacturing issues as they come up on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Unfortunately, Creo displays an "uncounted" license request error when I use it. I was told by IT that this may be because my workstation is set up to allow me the capability of opening multiple sessions of Creo when I am at work.Has anyone else had any luck with this sort of situation?Thanks

Hello,   I installed the Foundation, and I am trying to install the platform Analytics, but I got the attached message. It says that ERLANG_HOME system environment variable is not set correctly. Set EARLANG_HOME to point to where Erlang software is loocated, for example: C:\ Program files\erl10.0   Do I need to install EARLANG software? is it a prerequisite?   Thanks, Ghandour

Hi All,   I am trying to follow the SSL installation for The Thingworx Foundation I used the cmd with this command: keytool -genkey -alias tomcat9 -keyalg RSA -keystore twkeystore.jks I get an error while defining the passwords for tomcat9. When I used cmd as administrator, I get thattached error. I am not able to install SSL which i need it to get the .jks file for the Foundation installation.   Any advice? Best, Ghandour  

I saw a video on youtube which demonstrates the capabilities of hololens 2. My query is the button shown in the video when pressed, makes a motion and give a feel like it's actually moving. Many years ago, layers were used to control the visibility of 3D annotations. This changed with Creo 1.0 (if memory serves; was a few years ago now). You can still add 3D annotations to a layer, but hiding the layer no longer hides the annotation. Nowadays, you're supposed to "Remove from State", and use combined states to manage which annotations are displayed at any given time.   That's all well and good, but... Why are Hole Notes different? (These notes are created automatically when you create a hole with threading; to avoid them the user must uncheck a box every time.) There is no "Remove from State" option for these notes for some reason. And layers still work! Why the inconsistency? Anyone have tips to manage them?   I've joined a group that has just been ignoring these notes for many years, by turning off display of 3D annotations globally. Hi. I've installed Creo 6, and I made sure to check all the Toolkit boxes, including the VBA API. I have declared the system variable and registered the server, as shown in the VB User Guide. but when I try to select the Creo VBA library as a reference in Excel, it's not there. Anyone know what step I'm missing?
