Does anyone know if "Experience Service" needs separated license or free?  How to get the what kinds of licenses if it needs license?

Dear support, I installed experience service 8.4. When I tried connecting Vuforia Studio with the URL like https://<IP>:2019 and hit the validate button, it returns  "Failed to authenticate experience server" error.   I also tried accessing https://<IP>:2019\studio-trial.vuforia.io/ExperienceService/ui and it returned  {"message":"Not Found","errorCode":"","error":{}} I tried accessing https://<IP>:2019\studio-trial.vuforia.io/ExperienceService/ping and it returned OK.   Can anyone help find out how to fix this issue?

Hello Everyone, I just finished building a Mashup as an Admin User. Now I have created a new User, that I want to be able to use the Mashup. In Order to do so, the User needs to execute the Service "GetSortedCompleteStructure" of a Thing that I defined as an Admin User. The Visibility of the Thing is set correctly, but in the "Run Time Permission" Section I have the following issues:   When adding the new User to "All Properties, Services, and Events" and allow "Service Execute", everything works just fine But for now, I just want to allow for one specific service to be executed, namely the service mentioned earlier.But when selecting that service in "Property, Service, or Event Overrides" and allowing for "execute" (while Denying Execution for all Services in the section above), it get the "not Authorized error". I find this quite confusing, since the option states "Service Overrides", which should override the default option of "Deny"Also when the user is not added for "All

Hello,   Is it possible to modify part usage attribute (Quantity) without creating a new iteration of the parent or doing a check-out/check-in?   I have the following code to modify "findNumber" which is also a usage attribute. Dear All,   My concern is that my company has specific bend table program for this ,and its tough for me to calculate the length and width of the unbended part ,example I have sheet with 3 mm rolled to 100 MM dia with 100 mm length but so whenever I go with the formula of PI()*D for width ,it deviate from the what creo give. Is there any method to join the L & WIDTH in d relation from unbended family part.   Thanks, Manish

Dear All..   I try to configure communication between Kepware and Thingworx Foundation. The error = "Error pushing property updates to thing  | Thing name = 'IndConn_Server'". The port utilized by Kepware to Foundation is 8080 and is not blocked by firewall.

Changes in style themes have no effects to menu ...   Article - CS314775 In the Style Theme editor in ThingWorx 8.5, the options for the Menu element do not work for menus   Still not fixed that issue?   To be honest ... I want to see your testplans ... How you test???? This feature is allready beta since  8.4.5-b102 and stil not fixed? Why you change the status from beta if the known issues are still not fixed?    Or do you have a sollution?      

Hi, I couldn't install ThingWorx 8.5.0 trial version on my windows. I have followed the installation guide but it doesn't help. My java is 1.8.0 and 64 bit. Did I miss something during the installation? I couldn't even find the uninstaller or installation log.

I'm attempting to deploy lmgrd and ptc_d on a linux (Centos 7) machine, and have provided my server's host id to PTC for a license. The host id in this case is the MAC address: 70-85-...redacted....the license file came to me with some parts missing, specifically __HOSTNAME__ and __PTCD_PATH__I have replaced __HOSTNAME__ with my server's correct name, and I have replaced __PTCD_PATH__ with a simple period (.) to indicate "current directory", and located all the files including the license all together in one place under /usr/local/mathcad.When I attempt to start the licence manager: ./lmgrd -c mathcad.lic it will not start, the error given from ptc_d is that the host id is incorrect. The license SERVER line has my correct MAC 70-85-...redacted.... but ptc_d is complaining it has "detected" a host id 06-00-00-00-00-00. None of the server's ethernet interfaces have a MAC address like this. I would be grateful for any assistance here!Precise error shown:

I'm posting this because it may help others.   When you are using an Organization Login Form page, after logout, you may want the user to be redirected to this. Form Login URL is like: http://host:port/Thingworx/FormLogin/MyOrg where MyOrg is your organization name. In TWX 8.5, logout function proposes you to redirect to: a Mashup a URL As Form Login is not a Mashup, you can use the second option (URL). But then, you have to rebuild the URL from composer... You can do this using an expression that will return: result = window.location.protocol + "//" + window.location.host + "/Thingworx/FormLogin/MyOrg"; And you bind your expression like this: assuming here that the button is the logout user action.

While exporting some step files and then importing them, all the extra trim surface that are hidden are coming along with the part. This doesn't work when you are trying to render some parts. Is there a way to have these extra surface remove during the creation of a step file?

Hello I switched from TWX 8.2 to 8.5 I have now to use the new composer to work with the platform / mashup, I'm using it since a week about   I see that this is faster, quicker, and some feature are much better managed (expressions, validators... services develop phase with direct save and run...) However the page style (for me) is more confusing that the old, in particular when working with mashups, on the right side the panel for working with Data/Session/User is manly ALL WHITE ... this is much worse than old composer where enties was black, services was red, return values was gray background and it was much faster "for eyes". The height of all the "rows" of that panel, and  also those of widget properties is too high ! this takes lot of space for the same informations compared to the old composer with fast eye look, it is not immediately visible the mashup zone and the panel/develop zone, the sections are not well separated with backgroud colors May be this is only

Hello, I have a question about the thingworx foundation anomaly detection. Is it possible to upload a CSV or Excel file and then create anomaly alerts? If yes, I couldn't find any documentation or explanation about the subject. I understood that it's only possible that creating anomaly alerts for streaming data. Is that right? Thanks

I am able close a popped up mashup on click of a button which is inside the popped up but I Couldn't close the pop up upon clicking a button which is not in popup mashup.

Not sure who manages the date code list in the case logger but Creo 6.0.4.0 is missing from the list.  I mentioned this to a TSE a while back but nothing has changed.  Someone needs to make sure this list stays in sync with the currently released products.  Thanks.    

How can you get/read specific value from a parameter with value series in relations? I assume its with argument value. I can pass entire value series of parameter in relations but i need specific based on argument.

Hello, community! So far faced nonsymmetric matrix. Normally diagonalization of this kind matrices goes through transposed left and nontransposed right eigenvectors. With the command L=eigenvecs(A,"L") and R=eigenvecs(A,"R") we are supposed to get orthogonal eigen space. This functions do not provide orthogonality in some cases. But if restoring the eigenvectors by each eigenvalue, it is. Does anyone know if there is something special I'm missing about left-right eigenvectors commands?
