I have a service returns string "Alarm"/ "Healthy"/ "Error". I want to display these string and change color based on state.   I made a state definition and binded service result to value display - data.   Now, I open "ValueFormat" but don't know how to assign state definition. How to do it? My TWX version is 8.5.0   Thanks.  

1.  I have a custom scheduled job created but it always runs in context 'site' and always returns null.  I understand this is by design. 2.  When I try to schedule my custom job in my org, my custom job name does not display in the job listbox to choose.  The custom job name only displays when I am in the job administrator scheduler for 'site'. 3.  I am struggling how to get my custom job name to display in the job administrator scheduler for my 'org' and have not been able to verify if my custom job java code is correct.   See the code below.   Any hints or suggestions are appreciated. My pvz file of model contains two sequences. I want to place 2 buttons on 2D canvas which will choose which sequence to play. For example button-1 should play 'sequence-1' and button-2 should play 'sequence-2'.   Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I am trying to apply different shaders on multiple models in a single view. Apparently the usual method is not working. Only one particular model is being applied a shader at a time.

After designing my mold cavity and extracting the mold components they are assigned a color based on my system color settings. My company will take those mold components and reassemble them in a standalone assembly to be inserted into a mold base, I will usually changed the color and maybe add transparency to each individual component at this time. My issue is if I ever need to make a geometry change in the manufacturing assembly, all the components are reassigned back to the default system colors again.   Does anyone know of a way to stop the system colors overriding my user defined appearances? I know I can change the system color to something else but I generally don't want all the mold components the same color, different colors makes it easier for the toolmakers to differentiate parts and shutoff locations.   Thanks.

Hi everyone, Having some trouble with a simple function. Doing a simple calculation function with input fields for a variable a and b and the function is supposed to return a x b. Having trouble though with if someone writes something else then a number in the input fields like a symbol or a letter e.g. @,f,g,% or some thing like that. I'm trying to use on odesolve command in order to create variables allowing me to graph Time v height & acceleration v time of a parachutist falling from stratosphere but I can't figure out why the it can't solve. Is it the equations? or is there a certain order I have to insert the odesolve? Any guidance is appreciated thanks.

Creo 4.0 M090 I'm doing some 3-axis milling, simple 2D arc and line motions, and standard pecking drill cycles, etc. A strange thing is happening, apparently due to the part models involved. Here's a brief rundown of what I did. A. Added reference model and workpiece. B. Defined some milling sequences for those two parts. C. NC-Check works fine, shows me a simulation of the material removal. D. Added another reference model and its workpiece. Basically the next stage of manufacture of the part and the results of the previous steps. E. Defined a milling sequence and some drilling cycles for the two new parts. F. Now, NC-Check gives the message in the subject line above, not only for these new cycles and the operation containing them, but also for the previously completed sequences (in steps A and B).   So, the question is, what in the world have I done wrong? How might I go about deleting all items in a datatable by timestamp? Say over a year old? I am not seeing timestamp as a parameter of the DeleteDataTableEntriesWithQuery snippet.

Hello,   I installed manufacturing apps trial and import simulation data succesfully and I did 2 guides about manufacturing apps, Controls and Asset advisor but now I have a problem because Kepware is connected with Thingworx but I can't see data simulation in my assets. Hi All,   I would like to ask about Collection (or repeater) widget. I want to do a checklist with questions and answers. I created a database what contains the questions,at the moment I have 11.  After that I created a mashup what displays all of questions. The mashup contains 2 labels and 1 radio button . I want to display all questions ,radio buttons, and I want to store the answers according to question numbers.   I tried to display all questions, but it display only the first row How can I solve this problem, and how can I collect the answers? Can this be done with a repeater or collection widget? I tried it with grid, but I read on forum, I can not embed widgets within the cells.   Thank you in advance.

Hello,   Is it possible to fill the content of a title element, for example from a topic, with the name of the textual content holder from windchill.   So when you name the textual content holder in Windchill 'Test Topic', the title element contains the text 'Test Topic' when opening the topic in Arbortext Editor.

Hello,   To prevent display lag in AR on the HoloLens, I often need reduce the number of polygons (facets) of a particular model. When I load the final PVZ into Vuforia Studio I always run the CAD optimizer, but sometimes this still results in too many polygons. So before exporting as a PVZ from Creo Parametric, I replace especially complex parts (lots of curves) with STL copies. When I export a part as an STL I can adjust the parameters to create a very fine detailed mesh of polygons, or a very low quality where all of the round geometry is represented by squares. I would like to preserve the geometry of round items so that they have at least 6 or more sides (not 4) -- however I want to simplify the rest of the part much more dramatically. Is there a trick to get the best of both worlds?   One time consuming method to do this is to extrude a polygon (6 or more sides) in the place of every circle (whether adding or subtracting material) -- this prevents exporting to STL from

We have two instances of Kepware, one Kepware is connected to DST machines, the other one is more of a central server which gets machine data in OPC UA from third party apps and feeds data to Apps for analysis. both the Kepware instances can be connected via OPC UA connection. But is there any PTC recommended way to do this?
