HI,   For synchronous toolkits, the macro is executed after the program function returns and a handle is returned to the creo.   Is there no way to use macros in the middle of a program in a synchronous toolkit?Can you tell me if there is a way to use a macro in the middle of a program in a synchronous toolkit and run the handle back to the toolkit?   Since we did not find an API to extract the piping BOM, we need to extract the piping BOM using a macro.For each model, you must extract all piping BOMs for each simplified representation.   If you know how to throw a macro in the middle of code in a synchronous toolkit and get back to the toolkit, Please let me know.   Thanks,   Warm Regards,SeonHo   PS. attached photo was show what i need[ PIPING BOM]

Hi everybody, I created a mashup template that contains a layout with value displays and a shape. When I stretch the displayable screen, the mashup is still ok. But when I shrink it instead, scrollbars appears and the mashup is not responsive anymore. Is there a way to make that the value display and the shape get smaller instead? I know that the font size is not scalable, but even if I put it really small, there is still a lot of white space between the value displays, and the scroll bar appears. This is really annoying, I've been working on this for days. There are some old topic on similar problems but they were all left unanswered. Please if someone could help. Thank you

Basically the title, I've been trying use the opacity value to make a model part "fade" away but when I change the value, it's reflected when I print it to console but not on the model itself. Thanks!

We have the full version of IFX, I had defined custom inch and mm libraries in Creo 3.0. The paths were mapped to a network drive and everything worked fine. Now with an upgrade to 4.0, I am having issues updating the mapping on other users PC's even though I had the correct paths in the sl_options file. I got it to work on mine but those steps are not translating to others. Could you provide the core files and directories I need to look at .

Hi,    In my customer's case, multiple requests may update different fields of a same record of Data Table .  I use the service UpdateDataTableEntry to update the record, which means the whole record will be updated,    will the second request overwrite the updated field value of the first request ?  If so then the first request's data is lost .    The same question is also for Stream updating with the service UpdateStreamEntry.     Regards, Sean    

Hi,  The minimal password length is 14 in ThingWorx 8.4 .  How to change the password policy ?  It's not necessary to have the password so long in a in company's local network.   It's too long for a end user to input,  specially when customers access the Thingworx page via mobile device(iPad or phone), it would be a horrible experience.    Regards, Sean

I installed Thingworx Analytics Server on Linux and connected it to Platform so it created Analytics Extension normally.When I enter Analytics Extension> Analytics Builder> Settings> Thingworx Analytics Server Configuration, the Analytics Server field is populated, but when you click Verify Configuration, there is no return from the installed microservice.

Hello,   I am having issues with viewing my projects on mobile devices. The HoloLens is working fine however. With my iPhone, after scanning the thingmark the option to display the experience pops up. Once I click on it the display area goes white & nothing happens. I checked the log file (please see attached) and the only error I could find said the following: ThingBrowser[559:78834] ERROR/AR(559) 2019-05-25 10:51:37: VideoBackgroundConfig with screen size of zero received, skipping config step   I don't know why this would happen, since under info I have the Minimum Screen Width set to Phone (320dp). I've tried to eliminate all possible sources of errors by reducing the size of my project to just a thingmark and a simple pvz, but that hasn't helped.   Any ideas what might be causing this? As part of my experience I have a long parts list that users can interact with to put together a shopping list. Is it possible to manipulate gridlayout and widgets using js to dynamically add a row and several widgets to the new row as needed? I ran across someone talking about how they found the code to create widgets in runtime but I haven't been able to find his (or her) example again to implement it into the experience. I could set it all up manually but there's 200+ entries that I'd need to do it for each part of my experience so if there's a way to streamline the process that'd be amazingly helpful.

Hi All,   I have a few mashups. The access to these mashups is role based.   As an example, Mashup A can be accessed by Role A and Mashup B by Role B. Currently if role B tries to access Mashup A, I get a message with the prompt "404- Entity not found". I understand that this is due to the visibility permissions I have applied.   But from the end user perspective for better readability and understanding, If the user tries to access the mashups he is not permitted to view, I would like to show a message with something like "User not permitted" or "User does not have privileges".   Is there any way to achieve this?   Thanks And Regards, Madhumita

Hi, I'm having some trouble making my mashup adaptive for different size of screens. I designed a mashup that contains some "Value Display" and a "shape", and I created another mashup that contains a collection of these (I followed the "Organize your UI with the collection Widget" tutorial). I designed it on my PC but it is meant to be displayed on a much larger TV, and I wanted the mashup to be bigger on the TV but they are the same size as on my PC. Is there a way to make these scale with the size of the screen ?   I tried to create the "base mashup" static and then responsive, but they both don't scale. The only difference is that with the responsive, the background "panel" will take all the space he can, but the widgets in it never change size. Is there a way to make that happen ? (It doesn't need to be in a collection, I just want to make a "base mashup" that will scale with the size of the screen). Thank you in advance for your help

Hi Developers,   I have a use case where i have to purge sensor data for a certain time period as well as have to take backup of the same data before its purged.   I have gone through the community and support portal and got an idea on the following activities which will be automated through a Scheduler at the end of each day. How to programmatically take backup of Data Best Practices on purging   One challenge i see here is that the service have to purge the data only after it gets a confirmation that the same have been taken backup.    So when i run the API for taking backup of data i get a message stating as given below. But it doesn't really give the actual status of the backup activity (like the deployment status available for the SCM module of the TWX Utilities). Hello, folks!   I know there were/are some discussions related to this topic, many of them were replied by @sdidier, but unfortunately I couldn't find an exact solution to my problem.   I'm trying to read and write values between Thingworx and Vuforia.   I had no problems reading a value from a Thing in Vuforia using the GetPropertyValues service, as explained in this article. I'm able to instantly see the values updating in my experience when I manually change a property value in Thingworx, without issues.   However, when I try to do the reverse path - writing values to a Thing from Vuforia - using the SetPropertyValues service, I have no results.   Here's what I've done:   1.
