I want to convert data that I receveid from arduino board via serial to float.When I use ParseFloat on the service that I created on a Shape, i have the following error : >Error executing service. Message ::Unable To Convert From org.mozilla.javascript.UniqueTag to NUMBER - See Script Error Log for more details.   I don't know where I can search to correct this. I only found who has to convert into infotable.If someone know example of similar javascript service on thingworx that are working. It would be very useful for me. In my service, Inputs are string and Output (result) is Number. Hello,   I know it is possible to get the length of the current sequence with $scope.app.view.Home.wdg["model"].steps however I would like to get the length of each sequence for the model, and store this in array.   Is there a way of getting each sequence length, other than creating a loop where I change the sequence and then get the steps each time?   For instance, if model-1 has sequence 1: 10 steps, sequence 2: 15 steps, sequence 3: 7 steps   Is there a way to get this information without changing the current sequence multiple times? In the end I will create an array [10,15,7]. This is useful for an overall progress bar I'm creating.   Thanks, Wes

Hello All, I am new to this forum and i just need to know if i can do advanced rendering in CREO parametric 5.0 and then import the same to Vuforia studio so that the product looks as realistic as possible.Because user is in need of AR experience where the product should look similar to real time object and also they need the shiny and texture finishes to be achieved instead of CAD looks.Is it possible in Vuforia studio ? I have two thing templates "Plant Thing Template" & "Department Thing Template". While creation of "Department Thing Template", I have inherited the "Plant Thing Template" as base thing template, to inherit & store certain properties.   Now, I want to get the list of implemented things from "Plant Thing Template" separately and "Department Thing Template" separately. The issue is "GetImplementingThings" of "Plant Thing Template" is returning things implemented by both "Plant Thing Template" & "Department Thing Template"   Can someone please suggest a solution

Isn't the UpdateQuery service supposed to update the infotable passed to it in the "t" parameter?  In this support document, InfoTableFunctions the service description states that the UpdateQuery service will "Update rows that match a query with a provided set of values."  However, when I use it (see the example below), the result infotable contains the updated records, but those updates are not saved to the infotable passed to it in the "t" parameter.  Am I missing a step?   For example: In the code below, the result infotable contains the correct records filtered from the FrameComponents by the query and they are updated properly with the values infotable.  However, the cooresponding records in the FrameComponents infotable are not updated.  What do I need to do to update the FrameComponents infotable?   var query = {"filters": {"type": "EQ","fieldName": "gath_cart_no","value": row.gath_cart_no}}; var params = {t: FrameComponents /* INFOTA

We are currently using the .NET SDK for thingworx. out of a security perspective we are interested in which security-terms are part of the default SDK-Connection.   -Are there Certificates (Which Type/Class) -Is there an internal VPN tunnel used ..   Where can we get such information? At the moment we're asking the question if there is any security point we have to implement or wrap around the connection for our securitystandards, or if the Thingworx connections are safe enough.

how to publish an experince on spatial target in vuforia studio along with thingmark i want to use thingmark for initial tracking purpose but after that i want to use the spatial target for putting model on floor 

As I am studying some basics of the meshing in FEM.   I found the two kinds on refinement done in FEM Meshing. During the Simulation i have seen the Auto Gem Controls in which we can manipulate the size, length etc. Is there any way of p refinement in Creo?   or it does it automatically during the calculation?

I want to display the selected value from the drop down list on the LED display. I have used the selected item from a List widget, bind the Selected Row(s) from the Service used to populate the List. But still data is not loading in the LED display. How can I get the data to display.  

Hello everyone,   I stucked with MathCAD 15. I want to import data from XLS file (geographical coordinates), convert it to some map projection coordinates and finally display on XYplot. I created a function that should create an array for display but there is an error 'This value must be a vector'. This is my first step with MathCAD so an answer could be trivial. Hello,   I have 2 buttons in my mashup, "START" and "STOP" buttons. With these buttons I would like start and stop the data entry from Industrial Connectivity. Is it possible? If not, How can I program a simulate data in my thing "Temperature"? And with these buttons start and stop this simulation?   I am trying with one button and  display bind through GetPropertyValues and the click event is working but I don´t know if I have to program a service, event, subscription...   Thank you in advance BR,   Luis

In my project I have several views, with buttons that are meant to execute different functions. For example, on my main view I have buttons that validate if a user has entered the right password, or take the user to a different view. However, it seems like functions are only sometimes called by button "clicks". For example, in order to get the sign in button to run the function that checks passwords I needed to use $scope.[functionname] = function(), but for another function it wouldn't run unless I added $scope.app.[functionname] = function(), and others will only run if they are defined as a nonanonymous function.   Now, I'm having trouble getting a function to run from a click, I've added logs throughout my code so I can see the logic progression. I have a function defined as: $scope.addPart = function(partname) and the call is simply: addPart("PartName"), however no matter what I try the function never runs. Hi Creos,   I have a question regarding graphics requirements for Creo 3. My graphics card is Nvidia Quadro K2200, Driver Ver.23.21.13.9125 - downloaded from Dell. When I am using Creo for modelling I do not have any issues - models rotate smoothly. But when I am using Draft Analysis and other analysis - it is not possible to rotate the model.   Did you face this issue maybe? thank you for any answer,   Regards, Arek

Hello Guys,   Is it possible to freeze/pause/stop, a sequence while an animation is running? Some of my steps are probably 60 seconds or longer with a lot of tool movements and actions -- and it would be great if the step could be paused part-way through by a button. In Creo Illustrate 5.0 its e.g possible. I know there is a "Stop" Service but it only pause after finishing the sequence.   If someone can help, I would really appreciate 🙂

How do I create a plot that looks like "steps", based on a table like shown in attached table and graph?    

Has anyone figured out how to get the tables to expand by default?  I look at the Tasks for Change Process on CN's quite a bit and it's annoying to have to expand them every time I open a CN.  It would be nice for each user to have the option to expand everything or specific tables.

Hello,    I have a stream that I am attempting to add entries to by calling the .AddStreamEntries() method. I have tried passing two different infotables - one whose datashape is identical to the datashape on the stream which I'm trying to edit, and one which is defined by a new datashape, where I added the fields for 'location', 'tags', etc (to match more exactly with all stream fields).    Both methods throw a null pointer exception. I know that the infotable I'm passing it is not empty - already checked that.   Any ideas?     Things["MY_STREAM"].AddStreamEntries({values: MY_INFO_TABLE /* INFOTABLE */});

Can i use python for automating boring and repeating stuff in creo??  Like batch processes(converting to iges/step) and using parameter value as input to filename
