I am still using MC 11. I was able to make a random square matrix called A of n dimension, with 1<n<1000 (infinite would have been better but my pc horse power is limited). A needed to be positive, with Max Eigenvalue  lower than 1. I used the following combination of formulas, which probably is not the optimum, but it works. 1): Z(z,z)=:rnd(1/n)    # so to have numbers that fulfill the condition MaxEval<1 2) A=: matrix(n,n,Z)   I would like to refine it, and I ask kindly advice. The constrains that I would like to add  in generating A are the following. a) Still a nxn square Matrix with Max Eigenvalue lower than 1. b) But A should be semi-positive, with random coefficients, including zeros and not just positive as above. c) However A should be indecomposable (called also irreducible), i.e. A^x  (with x a positive number) should turn a positive matrix. Seems a very stupid question but how do you open Vuforia Studio? Once the setup file is installed, it doesn't seem to create any kind of shortcut to the localhost.

I have a "navigation page" that needs to update a grid on a new mashup that loads when my navigation button is pressed and two items are selected from my drop down and combo box lists.    My navigation button will upload the next correct mashup however my grid is not being filled with any info based on selected items from my drop down lists.   bindings for grid widgetmashup bindings for navigation page mashup Any thoughts of what I am doing wrong?   Thanks

Hello All, I have an assembly with 40-50 parts.  A customer is asking for a 3D model that retains all the correct inertias and center of gravity for the assembly.  Of course, I cannot give them our actual Creo model for intellectual property reasons.  When I give customers 3D models, I typically use a cut in the assembly to remove all the guts, then create a shrinkwrap, then export as a step file.     Is there anyway to efficiently create a dummy 3D model that does not give away the farm, but still possesses the COG and inertias?   Thanks.

Hello everybody,I have created an UDF for the DIN 6885 key way. I have also through the pro/program added the possibility to have a prompt with as a question to select one of different length for the key way.'Each diameter of shaft has different standardized length of key ways.' I have created a shaft with multiple shaft segments with different diameters. I want to add the UDF of the keyway on different shaft segments with different diameters.How can I add a second and a third, etc. UDF on a shaft segment with a different diameter then the first shaft segment where I already put an UDF. If I do this and regenerate the model,and fill in the prompt that is given for the key way length, all the key ways based on the same UDF change dimensions to the last value.   In order to be able to use pro/program I needed to use Subordinate instead of Standalone.GreetingsMathieu

Am getting data from kepware to thingworx and storing it in the value stream. Now my requirement is to display this data in a timeseries chart and when new data comes in the new data should get appended to the chart and it should look like a continuous(real time) chart.

I want to put a relation which states that the: IF STRING_LENGTH(SOME_PARAMETER)*3 is greater than 10 and less than 30     I dont understand how to put less than and greater than together

Two issues here, hope someone can help:   When I Run Dynamic Frequency Analysis (DFA),    there is an option to use Modes from previous design study. In this case, Creo uses a previously ran Modal and starts with DFA load set. Pre-req is that previously ran modal should be stress output for this option to be used. The issue I am having with this option (most times) is that during meshing, I get an meshing error due to different number of elements even though I don't change anything between running modal and FRA. Also, I have tried changing run setting to use elements from existing study but I get same error. There is an article CS117018 from 5 years ago that I can see in the knowledge base and it says its been resolved. Anyone knows a resolution to this issue ? If I don't check previous design study, I still have to select a previous modal to run the FRA. My understanding is that it for some reason needs the ConstrainSet of the selected modal analysis and then r

I was trying out the example on Prescriptive analytics in thingworx. However, i am not familiar with the meaning of the result as shown. What is the meaning of originalScore and optimisedScore and why is it the same in this case.   How does this information translate into the results of prescriptive analytics which is to offer solution to the problems identified by predictive analytics.  

I was trying to install "ThingWorxH2Trial-8.4.0-SNAPSHOT-linux-x64-installer.run" on ubuntu desktop. But some the installation got stucked at certain stage so I need to stop the installation in between. So because of this the installation file did not get created in installation path. But when I am tring to install the "ThingWorxH2Trial-8.4.0-SNAPSHOT-linux-x64-installer.run" again, I am getting error as please unistall the previous installation first. Is there any way I can install the thingworx again on my ubuntu desktop.

I have a service on a ThingShape. In my Mashup I connetced a selectedThing to the EntityName Parameter. How to access this parameter in the service JS?   I want to reduce the number of additional input parameter, so i thought it would be "faster" to call this service dynamic and pass the thing as entityname to work with it inside the service.   var params = { identifier: undefined /* STRING */ }; // result: THINGNAME var machine = Resources["EntityServices"].GetThingNameForIdentifier(params); .... Code does something with machinename here.  What is the parameter/variablename for the entityname?

Does anyone know of a method to interpolate or upsample a "straight line" between 2 complex points?   For example, between points (1+1j) and (4+4j) get (arbitrary) 2 more points: (2+2j) and (3+3j). Or as shown in picture, get vector [Matrix?] Z (not exactly, but similar) from W.

Hello, friends!!   This is a simple (and probably a silly) question, but I'd like to create a condition if a button is clicked, without binding the click event to a function, as normally used.   Below, a simple example: I'd like to skip a step if the "Yes" button is clicked:   if(stepNumber == 1) { $scope.view.wdg['labelStep'].text = 'Is the light on?'if($scope.view.wdg.['buttonYes'].click) //this is where I'm stuck at. The 'click' event is not called by the ".click" syntax, since it doesn't seem to accept it. {stepNumber = 3 //if the user clicks in the "Yes" button, it would skip the next step from 2 to 3.}} This is probably a simple syntax error!

Hi, I need to create a custom PDF extension widget for Thingworx. This widget should be able to export the data ( infotable containing of many rows and columns) shown in thingworx as a PDF. For my testing purpose, I created a sample Json file in my local computer and used that as a source for the java code to get the PDF generated.   Now how I have to test using the data coming from Thingworx. Can you please suggest me how can I achieve this? The json data from thingworx should be passed as the input to my java code where pdf is generated. Much thanks..

Hello everyone,   I am trying to create a custom extension in Thingworx which will generate a PDF file when a user clicks a button. The Thingworx mashup on which this button exists, will have a table full of data ( assume 100s of rows and 10 columns) which needs to be exported as a PDF report. In the mashup, the user has an option to select the duration for which the data in the table has to be displayed. The source for the data in the table is from a Json file from another system ( if it is relevant )   I have Created a PDF generation code in eclipse that creates a table with sample placeholder data. But I am unable to figure out how the table can be created dynamically based on the data in thingworx. For example, if the user selects report duration as two days, the PDF should contain rows for only two days of data. Hi everybody?I would like to create an UDF to create keyway grooves on a Shaft based on the DIN 6885.For example, a shaft with a diameter between 5mm and including 8mm, has a keyway-groove with a depth of 1.2mm, a width of 2mm, and a possible length of 6mm, or 8mm, or 10mm, or 12mm, or 14mm, or 16mm, or 18mm, or 20 mm.When placing an UDF on a shaft I would like to have a dropdown with the possible values for the length appearing, or a prompt with the question to choose between the length values that are applicable for that range of shaft diameter.Is this possible? Hi,    The tablespace "thingworx" is created by default if install Thingworx  in Posgresql.   If the Thingworx server has two hard disks and each one is 1T,  is it possible to create another tablespace like "thingworxTwo" in the 2nd hard disk so that Thingworx can make use of the server's storage ?    Regards, Sean
