Hi, I'm a new user (but in fact a very old one) with mathcad prime 4. Since few month I'm my own boss. For the first time I have bought mathcad prime and install it, before it was TI guy who do that for me. But I have more than 6000 mathcad files  (from mathcad 8 to mathcad prime 3). I need to convert some of them but I need mathcad 15. I don't have mathcad 15 but someone explain to me that I have the right to install mathcad 15 and mathcad prime on the same computer... I can't use both mathcad in same time but only for converting.   Is it right ? where can I find mathcad 15?    Yves Rossignol 

Hi forum,After a few searches on the net, I realize that there are no hatch types for wood included in Creo. Is there a way to create non-regular hatch patterns ? I see that I'm not the only one looking for this possibility. Does someone have tricks to do it or can we expect some PTC improvements in this area ?

Hi,I manage to get through all the steps in this guideline to install Thingworx PostgreSQL but cannot start it.  I use : sudo service tomcat8.5 start It returns: Using CATALINA_BASE: /usr/share/tomcat8.5/8.5.23 Using CATALINA_HOME: /usr/share/tomcat8.5/8.5.23 Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /usr/share/tomcat8.5/8.5.23/temp Using JRE_HOME: /usr Using CLASSPATH: /usr/share/tomcat8.5/8.5.23/bin/bootstrap.jar:/usr/share/tomcat8.5/8.5.23/bin/tomcat-juli.jar Tomcat started. And i check the port though fuser and top  no service was running or listen to port 8080 ( the port i use in platform-settings.json ). Also i tried to access http://ip:8080, returns nothing. No tomcat was running. (If its run, it will return something e.g 401.Output for catalina.out： Error: Could not find or load main class usr.share.tomcat8.5.8.5.23.webapps.Thingworx.WEB-INF. I have Downloaded Creo 5.0 Student Version Done the installation as per install_creo4_schools_standard Document using setup.exe, got the License by login to my Account During installation, After Installation Encountered Licence Request Failure, Tried to Reinstall the Software Facing the same issue, Even Installed setup-schools.exe Still the Problem Remained, Kindly Help

Hello,   'im following this threadhttps://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad-Questions/spherical-plots/td-p/369091 to plot a sphere. I thought I had understood all the procedure, converting the spherical coordinates into cartesian and plotting.   However, i've try to plot only a section of them (i.e. half of it, or form theta = 0 to theta = 3*pi/4) and didn't work. I've try change the start and end values of range.   Can anyone give a hint where to find this subject to study or what modifications I need to do to be able to plot this?   Thanks!

Hi, I made a custom equipment in AFX which is an assembly, called A.asm, composed of two parts, A_1.prt & A_2.prt . A_1.prt is also a custom part which will be new but A_2.prt is a standard part which is found in our Windchill Library.  When I insert a new equipment A, it creates a new assembly of A.asm and new parts of A_1.prt & A_2.prt . I would like that A_2.prt be imported from the library instead of being created as a new part. Is it possible?   I have tried the AFX option FOR_INTRALINK_33 to YES and the hidden option LOAD_COPY_COMPONENTS_FROM_INTRALINK to YES. But it doesn't work.  In the AFX folder, I only have the A.asm and the A_1.prt. The sel_list.txt file is set as A asm_copy. Thank you.  

Hello everybody,   We created specific attributes for documents : review deadlines and signature deadlines. We want to see all assigned documents to me where deadline is passed, late documents.   I imagine to create a query with criterias - type of concerned document - concerned state : review or signature - documents assigned to me   But impossible to create a criteria which filter "the deadline after today date". The image in attached shows taht I can filter on a date but not in relation with review deadline value. Maybe a computation field? But don't know how to do...   If everyone has a better idea or a solution ! Thanks for your help.   Eudes

Hi, I am facing this case. I have 3 buttons. If i 'pressed' button1, i want button2 and button3 to be 'unpressed'. If i 'pressed' button2, i want button1 and button3 to be 'unpressed'. If i 'pressed' button3, i want button2 and button1 to be 'unpressed'.   How do i bind them? Or how to create code for them?

Hi Team,   I'm brand new user of Mathcad Prime 4.0.   Trying to solve simple equation by iteration. What is the easiest way to solve this attached equation.   Idea behind is to change or increase k1 until left and right side are equal or at least close to each other (let's say error of 0.01). Hello, my question is if there is a way to find all the points given a vector Y1, for a function, without having to evaluate each one manually (as seen in my file with point 4.609 and finding the X1 = 0.677), that the vector Y1 will change values (but all within the range of vectors X and Y), Thank you.

Hey all, is there a way to to create a surface that won't show and simply acts as a reference? My understand of creating a 3D line in Creo 4.0 is that you project a line in one dimension onto a surface that captures curves that you want in another dimension. The problem with this approach is that while you can make the surfaces invisible, they still exist. So if I try and export it to a different program for analysis, the planes are imported as actual geometric surfaces (depending on the format of course). Came from SW which doesn't have this problem because 3D lines don't require faces to project on to.

Hi, I am using offical thingworx to follow the beginner tutorial-Build and Deploy an Analytics Model.   In step 2, in tutorial, after click the connected clients, the chart with green square should be seen.   But in my exercise, I could not see the chart and it shows no data available (refer attachment).

I'm trying to figure out how to add some videos into the 3d layer around one of my models, but there is no video widget in the 3d editor.  Anyone have any ideas?
