I'm trying to perfect a GPOST options file so no further editing is required before running it.  The spindle on my Mill is not subject to CNC control and the controller knows it - doesn't recognize M14.  I can't figure out how to edit this out using Options File Generator.  I would also prefer not to have a G28 at the end of the file either. I had thought that removing it from the end processing would get rid of it, but alas.... .   Also, since I'm the only one using this system, is there anything wrong with changing read/write permissions in the gpost folder so I don't have to be administrator to modify them?

Hi everybody, I'm new at this topic, so this is some newbie question. I want to know, how to use Actionlisteners. So i added a same example. There is a tester-class and beneath user_initialize(){} is the OnAfterModelDisplay methode. In user_initialize() i tried different things to get any respone in Creo. I thought i have to take something like the pointer wSession and call addactionlistener with a smartpointer to a Listener (what ever a listener is?!). But nothing worked. The same problem i have with the other Actionlisteners, which need a methode-call addactionlistner. Hi all,   I know that Test Result has some limitations to improve performance but I don't remember if it's history is registred or not. Is it possible to view a Test Result History? The end user is questioning that he didn't change a Test Result but the 'Result Modified by' field is showing his name.   Regards.

Hi,we are seeing some transfers of larger files to remote asset stall. I notice that in the configuration of the FileTransferSubSystem there are a number of timeouts that can be configured.I did wonder if when a timeout occurs is a file transfer event sent out, and could I subscribe to that? We have noticed that if we manually start the transfer again it picks up from where it left off.If I can subscribe, then my questions would be:what is the difference between the 2 timeouts above (can't find any documentation that explains them very well).Are file transfer events sent out when these timeouts occur? If that is the case would anyone know what that timeout event might look like, so that I could capture it and restart the transfer via a service.We have opened a case with support to try and understand why the transfer stalls, so I'm not looking to fix that issue in this thread. Just looking to work around the issue for now.

We just switched from Wildfire 4 to Creo 2.0.The copy paste functionality in assemblies has changed a bit with dependancies of parts when you copy more than one at a time. An example of something that I do regularily is a bolt and nut combination. A lot of times Patterns aren't the best option, and I generally don't like patterns a whole lot anyways. Old (desired) way:What I would do it constrain the bolt, and then constrain the nut to only the bolt for the first pair. Then to copy the same pair I to a different hole, I would select both the bolt and the nut, hit ctrl-c and then ctrl-v. The paste/place component of the bolt would show up and I would set the constraints and then hit OK. The nut would keep the same constraints onto the bolt and I would just hit ok.New way:Creo makes me define every constraint of both the bolt and the nut, irregardless of how I have them constrained in the copied components.I'm sure that there are options to define this behavior, but I am having trouble i

I am using ThingWorx 8.1.1. I want the mashups I create to be viewed by other people but I don't want to give them any login credentials. So far I found only two ways to do that. First is to create an appkey and give the key some user rights and use the URL with the appkey. This works well if I give the appkey an admin account rights which I don't want to do. If I give the key some non-admin access I have to go to every entity separately and give the Visibility access to each of them, which is also not suitable. Second way is to use a custom authenticator like every body in others posts suggests. But the problem is the same if I login with the admin account using the custom authenticator it works but if I use a non-admin account I have to allow every entity separately to have visibility access. Can you suggest any other way by which I just give the end user a URL and they simply open it. Or maybe a way to allow the non-admin user access to view all entities collectively.

How am I able to fix this problem?

Hello,   I have been reformatting a lot of drawings lately and I was wondering if there is a way to select and drag/move multiple objects. Lets say that I wanted to move two views and a note, I know I can relate the note to a view and than align the views, but I haven't found a way to just select all three and drag them together.

While trying to find out how to notify the moderator to move a post and the following search was done: Move, Author=Jaime_Lee   (To move notify the moderator) https://community.ptc.com/t5/Welcome-How-To-s/Community-Content-Move-or-Removal-Requests/m-p/494174#M578   The results return back nothing:   But if you look at the link on how to notify the moderator to move a subject there is an post by Jaime_Lee with the word "Move" in it. Hello   I'm looking for a small but nice feature that I was using with CREO 2 but it seems to have disappeared from CREO 4.   In CREO 2, we could select a witness line (by the small white square at his base), hold "SHIFT" key and move the cursor along an edge: this would automatically place the witness line base at the end of the edge if the line was parallel to the edge or on this edge in other cases. By the way, press the key "shift" + click on the white square of a witness line will lock its position (a small black circle appears).     Does anyone know if this is still possible with CREO 4?   Thanks  

Hi, allI saw some document and it said that EMS, C and .Net has persistent offline queuing feature, and Java doesn't.On the other hand, Java (and most of SDKs?) has in-memory offline queuing, it said.Is it implemented as a builtin feature, or should we implement own codes to to that?What is the best way to queue the value of properties while offline and send them at once after a re-connection?Regards,S.Yamabe

Hello,   I am trying to perform a FEM analysis in a assembly, containing many beam idealizations. For model preparation, for example for defining some rigid links, I have to select some sketches entities belonging to sub-assemblies, but it seems I am not allowed to. I enclose a video showing the problem.   (view in My Videos) how could I make them selectable? or is there some other way (kinda copy-paste the underlying sketches and bring them up to the master assembly)?   thanks

I am looking for help solving a system of equations for multi-effect evaporation on Mathcad. I am relatively in experienced and despite trying for hours and being successful solving simpler equations I have been unable to solve this problem.   Mathcad is reporting an error with the solve box and I am unsure what I need to do to make this work. I've attached the mathcad file I'm trying to solve and appreciate any help.    

Hello ThingWorx developers community, I am using Java SDK to create a DataTable dynamically. The DataTable holds an info table and some meta data regarding that info table in each row.   Something like this:     I don't know at the Data-Table's creation time, the inner InfoTable's Data-Shape. I am creating multiple DataTables of that shape, but two different DataTables might have different DataShapes for their inner InfoTables.   Is there a way to define the Inner InfoTables DataShape at the moment of creating the containing DataTable? Because it seems I can't add any rows to the DataTable without knowing the required DataShape.

Project Permissions do not seem to inherit to shared subprojects.When doing a project checkpoint or snapshot, the ACL of the original location of the shared subproject has to be changed to avoid permission denied errors.(Where) is this documented?We are working with shared subprojects very much and getting frequent errors when it comes to checkpointing.In addition, the affected shared subproject is not shown in the permission denied error message, only the main project. So debugging this error is really hard.   Any advice?
