Hi All   I am having a problem with moving between mashups. I duplicated an old project and edited it, but when I select a button to move between my new mashup pages, it keeps referring to the old master "drop". I am attempting to use a .bat file to start Creo Parametric 4.0 on my desktop. The installation of Creo is on a virtual machine server, and I just have a shortcut on my desktop that points to the vm's installation of Creo (via the .bat file I was talking about).   I think this is causing the Creo Agent to malfunction, and in turn this screws up the Windchill server connection that I want to initialize.   I am sorry if this is a little vague, but I am new to the idea of linking an instance of Creo Parametric 4.0 to a PDM software like Windchill.   If anyone has any possible solutions (maybe an addition to the .bat file?) Hi all,   I started evaluating Thingworx and already added a mqtt thing and a mashup to my hosted trail version. Now I wanted to test the "Build a Predictive Analytics Model" guide, but I can not connect to the analytics server, when I try to select the analyticsServer_Thing in the analytics Gateway field there are no search results, I can also not find any "gateway" thing in my version. Hello all,   We have installed Thingworx 8.2 on Virtual Machine. Whenever restart our Host Machine or Virtual Machine our  device ID is changing. So Thingworx throwing error as "Unable to acquire twx_asst_adv, error message is Trusted storage hostid does not match syst".   Is there is any way to fix this issue?   We also tried to set our MAC address as static, still Thingworx throwing error.

At one point I thought that someone had created a topic on logging Thing data to a Value Stream based on a Timer, but I haven't been able to find it.  So does anyone know if there's a way to use Value Streams to log Thing Property data based on a timer?  I'm guessing data is logged based on the 'Data Change' settings of a Property, but it doesn't give an option for timing (at least in Thingworx 7.1, don't know if newer versions added it).     My other question is about changing a Thing's designated Value Stream.  In the case that we needed to change the Value Stream for a Thing, what would be the best way to transfer the data from the original Value Stream to the new one?  I've found that changing the Value Stream for a Thing doesn't automatically move the data to the new Value Stream, however, it also doesn't delete the data from the original Value Stream.  If I change the VS back to the original, the old data is still there.   &n

How to invoke service via REST in HTML?   i has "A_Thing"  that was include service that add stream entry   We will send an HTML-based sentence via email.This created sentence contains a button. (<button type = "button" onclick = "location.href = 'joinUs.jsp'"> CHECK </ button>)If you press this button, ThingWorx service will be executed through REST.I typed <host>: <port> / Thingworx / A_Thing / Service / MyService in location.href.The button was successfully created and included in the email.However, if you press the button, Invalid Request is displayed. How do I invoke ThingWorx's service using REST in HTML?It will be helpful if you show examples of use.     thank

Hello!   Quick question(s):   Is there any way to include exported entities like Mashups/Things/whatever into custom ThingWorx Extension?   If I want to export single entity,Thing_MyThing.xml looks familiar to the metadata.xml file, so I believe copy paste would work here. From other hand, export by model tag looks completly different, so copy-paste is not applicable here.   Any ideas?   Thanks, Adam Any ideas to make it work without digging into each file one by one?

HI All, I installed on VM Machine (111.111.111.14) Windows 7 64bit a Thingworx 8.0.3.-b52   and I created a Thing 'TestRemoteThing' using ThinTemplate RemoteThing. I created another VM Machine (111.111.111.11) Windows 7 64bit where I installed Eclipse and I imported a package Java SDK 221-Java-SDK-6-0-4-595.zip (dowbloaded from PTC Market place) I'm using the documentation from http://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_edge/index.html. I Run SimpleClient.java using : - config.setUri("wss://111.111.111.14:443/Thingworx/WS"); - config.setAppKey("1146b538-3ad5-4977-8679-3f6bf2b55081"); application-key generate on Thingworx but the connection failed. Is it necessary a setting on Thingworx platform ? I run a test WebServices.html and it answer WebSocket Test ERROR: undefined DISCONNECT   What is the next check I have to do? Hi,   I have a Thing (based on MQTT) with some properties. One of them is called MQTT-Value which is configurate as MQTT-Target. Than I have a subscrption on datachange of the MQTT-Value-property.   The subscription looks like this: me.Environment_Humidity = eventData.newValue.value.humidity;me.Environment_Particles = eventData.newValue.value.particles;me.Environment_Temperature = eventData.newValue.value.temp; ...   Now I get an error on every time where a new mqtt-value arrives: [message: Execution error in service script [Event.DataChange:Property.MQTT_Environment] :: Wrapped java.lang.NullPointerException (Event.DataChange:Property.MQTT_Value#1)]   The MQTT-Value lookes like this: {"temp":17.540277128455315,"humidity":48.41761546496747,"particles":409}   If I set the MQTT-Value by hand everything works. I think this had todo with permissions. I set visibility&run time-permissions for "system"-user but this doesn't work.   I working with ThingWorx 8

I was using sigfox extension without problem until 7.3.2 Now I have to create a new instance of THX and I installed 7.4.9 Unfortunately I cannot import anymore sigfox extension , I got "not acceptable"   There is no restriction of new release in the marketplace. I have installed thingworx 7.4 and Postgresql on separate servers. Tomcat was running prior to installation of Thingworx 7.4. Hello,   I have an issue to view the connected servers on the Manuf App Control Advisor.   Versions :  Tomcat 8.5.23 Postgres 9.4.16 TWX 8.2.1 Manuf Apps 8.1.2 Extension KepServerEX-6.4.321 Everything is installed and run smoothly.   My Kepware server is well connected to TWX :  Kepware project well set to connect to TWX Log Kepware : Information ThingWorx Native Interface Connected to ThingWorx. | Platform: <myserver>/Thingworx/WS, Thing name: 'KepwareServerTraining-GW'. I would like to subscribe to an event for a thing template when an instance of a template finishes updating properties from a remote virtual thing so I can check changed properties including all other existing properties on a thing and use a logical expression to check if I need to do an action: eg. me.temp >27 && me.pressure >100 or me.state === "fault"   do something.   I also want to send that all thing's property data (including changed and old once) to a third party sql db for historical and analytical purposes.   So how to subscribe to an event on the server side that correspond to one call to updateSubscribedProperties method on the agent side. It should only be run if there is at least a change in one property.   AnyDataChange will fire multiple times (as many as the number properties that changed) per updateSubscribedProperties method call. I want to be able to respond to this bulk change or to treat multiple properties changes

My issue is that I can't see the full name of the resources for CAD Optimized PVZ files uploaded into Studio.  When you use the CAD optimizer, there are 4 Resources created which inclue low, medium and High designations.  After upload, only the first 31 or so characters are displayed and I have no way of knowing which one is which when it comes time to remove unnecessary resources and also keep my harddrive from filling up.  What I'm proposing is moving the naming convention of "low, medium and High" to the beginning of the cad optimized name upon generation. In my case, I started with a PVZ file that was 1GB and then the low, medium high were all under 100MB.  Please make it easy for me to remove the 3 of the 4 PVZ resources that I'm not using. Hello, Lets say you want to have to grids. And you have infotable which has a field containing another infotable and you want to display the nested infotable in the first grid and have the selection presented in the second grid. Is this even possible? I am having trouble getting the selection working from the first grid and I am suspecting the selection of nested infotables is not working.    However when I try displaying the "root" infotable in the first grid, the selection event occurs and the second grid displays the selection. Hope I make myself clear. I am on platform version 8.2
