Greetings all.   Does anybody know if there is a way to take a screenshot inside of Creo within a window? I currently use the printscreen button and paste it into Paint. I then select the area I want and put that in an email. I am looking for a way to select a window in Creo and paste that into an email without having to use Paint.   Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I want to attach ligament in a static assembly of knee joint. I have 3d scanned the ligament and transferred to creo. Now to bend it and attach to the bone I decided to make it flexible. But when I try to make it flexible I cannot choose any dimensions. Kindly tell me what am I doing wrong or suggest any other method through which I could bend the ligament and attach it to the required point ( I need to keep the length of ligament as it is). A picture of the scenario is given in the attachment. Thank you for your help in advance.

For the past 5 months have been developing a Creo Parametric Toolkit application on Creo 2.0 using Visual Studio 2010. I write, test and debug my code in a Debug build. When I'm ready to deploy a sample to my testers, I create a Release build. This has been my standard practice for over 10 years.My company plans to upgrade to Creo Parametric 3.0 M050 by the time I finish this application. For that reason, I decided to switch my development to Creo 3.0, which requires Visual Studio 2012. As is so often the case, the biggest adjustment is linking the code. My Release build seems to link just fine, but the Debug build is another story.  My output window fills with LNK2038 errors like this one:protk_dll_NU.lib(srcenv.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MT_StaticRelease' doesn't match value 'MTd_StaticDebug' in ConfigFactory.objThese errors appear for both Creo Parametric Toolkit and OTK C++. When I try to publish a word document I edited in word in PTC Integrity 10.9 I get the following message: "MKS10001: Uncaught Exception in MKS Gateway Command"I asked support about this and they said that it seems that edit in word is not working in Integrity 10.9. Hello, I want to use _ufe element with universal definition of the colour. The actual colour will be set in the xml document, e.g. in the <productname> element and his "role" attribute. I changed the APP source for _ufe by this way: ...//var color_value = '#0c6979';var color_value = formating.evaluateXPath("//productname/@role");   // Print/PDF propertiesstyle.color = ( color_value )... but it doesnť work. Maybe the formating.evaluateXPath function doesn't return a string value?The attempt with the direct setting of the color (a commented row) works OK.   Thanks for help Jana

I am getting "Failed to return license click check" error after logout. After clicking on logout link its redirected to the logout page and shows link to login again to Thingworx. I would like to have a flexible part which is a simple rectangle swept along a curve, but in such a way that when assembled the trajectory can be defined as a pre-existing three dimensional curve in the assembly?   Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Thanks.

Hello,I have to generate a report from Thingworx 7.3.Data are coming from multiple databases.I'm directly connected to these through jdbc.The report needs to be downloadable and in CSV format. I have managed this part.However, the report contains about 3 millions of lines and takes hours to be generated. What would be the best way to do this?Is there any possibility of background batching? Is there a lock mechanism that I can use (if a report is being generated, the user should not ask a new generation)?Or a simple property on a thing is enough?Thank you

I could successfully install the Sigma Tile and it seems to be running fine but however, I am not receiving any mail/call/sms notifications when an alert is triggered. Am i missing anything here?

Please reference attached image.   I want to display the diameter and the depth of a blind hole on the same call out. I have dual dimensions turned on and position set "to right" The image on the left shows the desired formatting. However, I can only achieve that if I have the depth called out on a different view. If I delete the depth dimension on that separate view, I get the formatting shown in the image on the right.   Is there a way to obtain the formatting seen on the left without having to add a callout in a different view. It seems the position setting is only applying to the topmost dimension of a callout.   Edit: Running Creo3 M110

Hi folks,   Working on a piece of coursework at the moment related to parametric relations and use of the family tree tool. The coursework involves creating families of drill bits with certain dimensions specified by the lecturer. I have written relations to create the drill bits (there are approximately 60-70 split between 3 family trees).    The coursework specifies that the drill bits should have text punched into the shanks like so: "Series, Diameter, Flute length". When I realized that the text tool would only accept one parameter at a time I decided just to use it multiple times and create a relation for the spacing between each (as this is driven by text size which in turn is driven by shank diameter). In an ideal world I would have one parameter for the text that combined my existing 3 parameters (SERIES, TDIA, TFLU) so that they read "MD, Ø0.1, 1.2" for example.    A second problem arises when I link the parameters since CREO displays them to 6 de

 Hi All, i am able to build protk_install_example from visual studio 15, when ever i tried to unlock application using  "<creo_loadpoint>/<datecode>/Parametric/bin/protk_unlock.bat  < DLLs (which is created using VS 2015)>"  using command prompt. i am getting error "No Creo licenses are available for the startup command specified" how can i solve this error issue? 

Hi,   I have a Mashup which has a form with fields. Now if the user has not Saved whatever he has filled in and goes away from this page(clicks some other link on the same page or closes this page), is there a way to understand this in a Thingworx Mashup?   In plain HTML, there are "unload" events for the page, or "close" event for the window. Can anyone suggest how to insert data to database from Thingworx? Through MS SQL extension, I am able to connect to database and read the data in the table. But I am not able to INSERT values into the table. The service showed some syntax error.

Windchill 10.0M020: How do we prevent users from creating new objects in the root folder of a product or library? They should be able to create in subfolders. I tried denying permissions for the default domain and granted permissions on a different domain then used it for sub folders, but the sub folders are also getting deny permissions. What is the best way to do this on Windchill 10M020?
