We don't like to give write access to an chinese employee to our commercial Windchill database but he should be able to add a parameter with a chinese description for all commercial numbers. Is there a way to update a Creo parameter by code ? Regards,Bernard

Can anyone tell me how you get back to the parent of a family of tables without having to track back through your menus.If you have embeded tables it seems hard to keep track of where you are at times..Any ideas as to what other users are doing would be great thanks..Steven

I saw a video recently where a shell of a car was created in Creo parametric by pulling out shapes from pictures imbedded in the planes. The setup was started with the front, back, top and side planes containing the appropreate pictures. I would also like to do this, but i have no idea how to insert a .jpg image into the respective plane. Can anyone help?

Hallo, der Übersicht halber möchte ich Linien verschiedene Farben geben, damit man beim konstruieren nicht so schnell die Übersicht verliert. Kann man die Farbe vor Erstellung einer Linie oder auch danach ändern? Habe jetzt alles abgesucht, die HIlfe ist da nicht wirklich eine Hilfe oder ich hab e es nur nicht gefunden. Odd shapes start to appear if you change this.You can scale the entire object by using "theta=(2+cos(t*180+90)^2)/<scalefactor>Also note that the value for t = -1 to 1 using cylindrical coordinatesThe formula can probably be duplicated in other ways.I simply wanted to provide a means to create an oblong curve with continuous curvature change that did not simply put straight and circular elements together.Enjoy.

Does Creo Parametric Procabling has costing ability? Can I see the engineering estimate seamlessly integrated with procabling?

If I go to open and type in "\\server\jobs\" and then right click on a folder the set working directory is greyed out.If I go to open and type in "z:\" and then right click on a folder I am able to set the working directory. Z:\ is a mapped network drive pointing to "\\server\jobs\".I just find this frustrating and was wondering why.

Is there anywhere to download some standard user defined features for common features like counter bores? I'm tired of looking up what size of a counter bore I need to make for different screw sizes.Or should I be doing this with map keys?

How do I get the other end to wrap like the top end. I need the bottom to lay flat like the top but I need it the be tangent to the extruded cylinder.
