I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.3.0 使用EZ TA时,定义好TA loop和尺寸公差后,直接会给出结果。但是,这些结果是如何计算得来没有明确的计算公式和方法,希望可以提供便于学习和导入此工具。
Hello allI want to simulate the O-ring contact stress under a certain displacement, when I meshing the part, it pop out the window as below.it seems that there is something wrong with material assignment. the material property is shown as below(just an example, not real case). the Mooney-Rivlin model was used to describe the material property. Could anyone help me check what’s wrong here?
I have bunch of points here to pick from and create close to smooth surface I exactly need. What is my best practice, tricks and tips for something complex feature like this? SEE ATTACHAny help will be graciously appreciated!CREO is King!
Hello CustomizersSeeking help accessing the annotation from Design items tree can some one help me with JLink
I've filled out the form multiple times, but I still haven't received the download link. I tried updating my profile, but I haven't received the required fields in the email. I only have the license files. I'd prefer the Express version, not Prime.

I'm creating a macro to automatically select a 3D Curve using the Search Tool.The search returns multiple results and I need to always select the first item in the result list.In Creo, it seems that selection is based on the ID. Is there a way to make it always select the first item.mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProCmdMdlTreeSearch` ;\mapkey(continued) ~ Open `selspecdlg0` `SelOptionRadio`;~ Close `selspecdlg0` `SelOptionRadio`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Select `selspecdlg0` `SelOptionRadio` 1 `3D Curve`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Update `selspecdlg0` `ExtRulesLayout.ExtBasicNameLayout.BasicNameList` \mapkey(continued) `SKETCH6`;~ Activate `selspecdlg0` `EvaluateBtn`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Select `selspecdlg0` `ResultList` 1 `260:59:`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `selspecdlg0` `ApplyBtn`;
Problem: When creating a countersink hole using the ISO standard (e.g. M2x0.4, Clearance, Close Fit), the outer diameter field is left blank (Ø 0.00) and requires manual entry.Impact: Every time a countersink hole is created with the ISO standard, the user is forced to stop, look up the correct value in ISO 15065:2005 Table 1, and manually enter it. This breaks the workflow and introduces a risk of human error — especially since all other parameters are already handled automatically by Creo.ISO Requirements: The outer diameter field is not a design choice — it is calculated directly from the pilot diameter and the 90° angle that ISO already defines. Creo has all the information needed to fill this field automatically.Optional Expected behavior: The outer diameter should be auto-populated from ISO 15065:2005 Table 1, which fully specifies this value (Dc = 4.4–4.5 mm for M2). All other fields — pilot hole diameter, angle, and depth — are correctly auto-filled from the same standard.Proof
Hey,So I’m trying to create a section view as marked in this picture here But I’m able to create only like a perpedicular linear section cut in the botttle neck region (Below picture is my drawing) Please let me know how to create a section view show in the first drawing.
Hello all,I would like to gather feedback from this community about how of the long existing "create_drawing_dims_only" config.pro option is being used in your organizations. First let me provide a short summary for the values of this optionIf set to NO - when creating a driven dimension in the drawing, the dimension is stored with the model (however not visible there). this dimension can be essentially leveraged to another drawing of the same model (but is not really going with the model based approach) If set to YES - when creating a driven dimension in the drawing, the dimension is stored with the drawing only My impression is that many Creo users (and their CAD Admins) have set this option to be set to YES, in order to avoid pushing drawing information to the model Currently the default value of this option is set to a value of NO. we (PTC) are considering to change the default value of this option to be YES (which seems to be more suitable for
Hi all,Is there a toolkit equivalent of Creo UI operation, “Save as Mirror Assembly” or “Mirror part” available? I’m trying to automate the mirroring of an existing assembly and the associated drawing using protoolkit without recreating the model from scratch? After the mirror operation completes, is there a way to update the existing drawing with its dimensions to reflect the mirrored geometry?Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
Workflow for creating a 2D repeat region to display family table information. Covers an alternate method using simple repeat regions to allow the use of relations and filters. Discusses creation of filters in alternate method, and some related drawing setup options are also covered in addition to column sorting to match the family table display order.
I have some issues when putting a dimension on a drawing. I work in large assemblies. When i want to select my line i have to zoom in a lot, or cycle the selection (right click) 2-4 times to get the right line. For some reason it often goes to lines on geometry that is not visible/behind on the view. This happens quite often. Is there a way to not select non visible lines when placing a dimension?Selection filter on dimension is set to all (there is only this one). Bonus question: why is it so hard to pick the middle of a pipe (without centerline) when placing dimension? The line on the end of the pipe is usually split in two non centered lines. maybe like circles are split in a interesting way :)
I want to create a stable radius label on the edge, but sometimes it creates a diameter label and sometimes a radius label. I don't know why this is happening. Could someone help me?
Transfer Mathcad license from an existing Host ID to a new Host ID for commercial license. I am trying to generate a license for a new host ID. I am getting the following error on the website: Your web account does not hold the following required privileges to access the application: License Management Reporting for read-only access. License Management Licensing for configuration and license file generation access.
ModelCHECK should be able to limit subcomponents in an assembly from being saved based on parameters. This is extremely helpful when considering IDX files because ECAD parts (ex. capacitors/resistors) that don’t have existing 3D models get imported with the “ECAD_PART_PARAM” set to “ELECTRICAL”. By refusing check-ins for these parts, we can insure that new geometry from the ECAD software is imported each time.
Creo 9, Centerline & Hidden line looks very small, how to change settings to get proper line spacing
Dear AllI'm looking for a method to make two parts move symmetrically . I know it's possible to do it in SOLIDWORKS but I don't find the way to do it with CREO.Many thanks for your helpO.Pavot
I’ve been trying to make a spiral tool path that starts on the OD of a part and winds inward until it reaches a step in the part where I would like the toolpath to make a finish circle around the step.I’ve come very close by using edge of a curve by equation and a sketched diameter, but for whatever reason, Creo seems to want to retract before it is done. Ideally it would stop and start within the tooth area. This is a 40” diameter part with the step on the outside being .017” +/-.001, so I am trying to get the best finish I can on this surface. I am thinking this will be around 20 windings as it works its way to the center diameter.I don’t really like the result of cutline or volume milling. I’m not sure why trajectory isn’t working exactly as I see it should either. Maybe if the whole path could be created by a curve by equation it would?
HiI am on Creo 10.0.1.0While features such as Holes, Rounds, Chamfers etc can be grouped using query in Layers, wondering if the same can be done in the “Design Tree”.Filtering the design tree and dragging and dropping the features into the custom group is a manual process which we would like to avoid. The reason being, every time a new feature such as a round is added, it would not become a part of the custom group, without a manual intervention.Help documentation is silent on this aspect.I am aware that this can be done through layers. Thanks in advance.
I know that striking through notes has been a topic of discussion in the community before, but after being annoyed by having to manually draw lines through text for the last year, I spent some time creating custom TrueType font files that include strikethrough directly (because I couldn’t find any strikethrough font files out on the internet that I trusted). So if anyone happens to be using Arial, Century Gothic, or Times as their main drawing fonts, then feel free to download these TrueType font files for your own use.
I had a very difficult time finding a solution for this. I opened a call and PTC said Windows 10 wasn't a supported configuration. Fortunately a curious co-worker discovered the fix. Not having zoom with the scroll wheel was a show stopper for me. Here's how to make it work as before: 1. Select the Start button 2. Type "mouse & t" in the search area and press Enter 3. In the Mouse & touchpad settings dialog select the toggle for Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them until it displays Off. 4. Launch Creo Parametric and marvel at mouse wheel zooming
I am using Creo Parametric - Release 8.0 (connected) 8.0 8.0.0.0Hello I can't see the "Insert Here" bar in the Creo 8.0.0.0I attached capture files. Could you check it?Thanks
Has anybody managed some sort of shortcut/mapkey for this yet? I'm taking about quickly opening a drawing of same name when the model is on screen, the way you can open a model by right clicking in the drawings model tree . .
Hi,Do we have a video which shows the procedure on how to work with Creo schematics multi sheet capabilities. I am not comfortablw with the regular documentation available.TIANaresh
