MathCAD Prime 7.0 is where my company is still stuck at, but it still has the very frustrating limitation/bug of not accepting decimal numbers without putting a leading zero before the decimal. It allows you to do this when calculating a number, but not when using units. Has this been fixed in subsequent versions? It is frustrating not only from the standpoint that I never put leading zeros before a decimal, and never have, never do on any other program/software, and it's not a problem at any other time on any other software package I use (including MathCAD Prime 7.0) UNTIL I try to use units in the calculation. I have hundreds of worksheets where I have not used leading zeros and it used to calculate everything just fine, even with the use of units.
I'm using MathCAD Prime 10.0.1.0 and having difficulty having a function complete a different formula depending on if a previous variable is either "Yes", "No" or "Blank". The loop is meant to repeatedly calculate "b" and then determine if "b" is either a "yes" or "no", I added a blank option to allow the calculation to be skipped in a larger document if that section is left blank. However, it is just always registering the "b" variable as "blank".The answers need to be provided in a matrices format.
Hi everyone, What's the correct syntax for Creo 4.0 to stop throwing this error about profile-tolerance: unequally disposed profileresulting error The underline appears as soon as the (U) symbol is put into the tolerance box.
HI, I’m having trouble generating NCL code for PostProcessor on the Mill turn machine. The machine is equipped with milling and turning heads as well as two spindles. I need advice on how to properly generate NCL code for both the upper and lower heads of the machine. If anyone has experience or tips, I’d greatly appreciate your help.
I need to open my Mathcad 15 files. I can't do it with Mathcad Express. Is there a way to work with existing Masthcad 15 documents.
Community, Why is the number of frames selection greyed out for non-linear analysis? When trying to animate, there is no control to slow down the animation, as the animation moves back-and-forth rapidly. Thanks in advance.
By a clone part I mean a fully dependant copy of a part that can be used in separate assemblies but if the original part is modified, the clone part can be updated automatically, And if it is possible, can be assigned a different material to the clone?
Hi I want to plot numbers from a table along with a function. But - if I select for example Row 2 and Class C, I want NaN to appear, i.e no value at all in the plot. Is it possible to incorporate NaN in a table? Or is NaN not applicable in this case? How can I solve this? Worksheet attached (prime 7). Thanks in advance!
The latest version of Mathcad is 10 but my company uses version 8. So will it be possible for me to download the 8th version of mathcad.
working on a table with a long list of items. need to query the table to see if an item is listed without erroring out every time. how can I check to see if "Black" is on the list and return a "N/A" or something I can use? Any help will be appreciated. Ed.
Is there no way to have a master material, say, Al6061 applied to multiple parts? If I update the master material all the parts that were already made with this material do not get updated. So now to enforce the master material I need to manually select and re-assign the same material......Surely there's a way of making the Library a reference for said part(s)?

Creo 10 It seems like when I display hidden lines some of them appear as blue dashed lines when they should appear as gray dashed lines. Why is this occuring? How can I fix this? I have already tried editing the line style to Hidden and still they appear as blue dashed but when printing follow Geometry line style. I can change the hidden line pentable settings and they only effect the gray dashed lines. Below is the drawing in Creo: Blue dashed line and gray dashed lines are both hidden items in the view. The gray hiddens lines appear correct when printing, but some of the hidden lines appear as blue dashed lines. This is cuasing issues when printing. The blue dashed lines follow the geometry pentable settings but as dashed lines. Below is Print Preview - using pentable - You can see the gray hidden lines appear correct and follow the pen table settings, while the blue dashed "
I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and Datecode is unknownWe have been receiving a "Disk Full" error when saving to a network location (that is most definitely not full). My users say it has been happening "for years," but this is the first I've heard of this. This happens regardless of the file or network location, and does not happen when saved locally to the computer. Happens with or without auto-save being enabled. When it happens, our users have to save locally and then move the file to the server. Is there a port or something on our firewalls that needs to be opened to allow MathCAD to save to network locations without an error? It doesn't happen every single save, but it is is frequent enough to where my users are choosing to save the file locally instead, which is an issue we'd like to stamp out immediately. Here are the errors that I faced:Disk full while accessing "insert network file path"

Hello everyone,I am a new mathcad user. I used to use python but we switched to mathcad prime 9 recently. I'm having a lot of trouble carrying out simple tasks with mathcad. It's certainly my beginner level on the software that explains this. I'm calling on your expertise to help me on a few points. Sorry if for you it's trivial but for me on mathcad it's really complicated at the moment. Here's my problem: I want to retrieve data from a calculation. I've written several fairly complex functions and I want to vary some of the parameters of these functions and retrieve the values. I then want to use Excel to plot the curves of these functions. I want to compare the curves for a given parameter, so as to visualize the impact of a parameter on the function.Mathcad Prime 9.0
Hello, Is anyone using a Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 monitor for Creo10 and beyond?Pros & Cons?All the best,HeinDIYvan.com
Hi to everyone!I'm a newbie here and need help finding the idea for the solution to my issue—a brief explanation of the problem.Mathcad Prime 9.0.0 is used for the modelling. There is a FOR loop for which data is calculated, and there are conditions for selecting the coefficient. If the condition is TRUE, I want the program to choose the k1 and f values to be represented in the augmented matrix in the output. But, as I can guess, the problem that prevents my loop from performing as it should in the type of input variable - each i-th value of the input variable u-value has to be checked for a condition—if it is TRUE, it goes to the list of output values; if FALSE, it returns an empty matrix.Mathcad doesn't seem to recognise the particular u-value; it simultaneously recognises all the set of u-values [matrix]. Thus, I probably have the error message "this value must be a scalar."PS The attached file could clarify my issue. I would appreciate any information and help you can give
Dear all, I'm using CREO 10 i would know if could be possible to repeat a part along a sweep feature keeping a specific orientation compared to the assembly, for example i would: -repeat the grey part along the sweep cut keeping the same reciprocal alignment-merge all the bodies obtained in a single one-subtract the body obtained from the white onethe result should be similar to this onebut the way that i obtained it, is not easy to use and to manipulate and the subtract command always fail.Maybe there is another way that i haven't considered how to do this. Thanks previously for the help
when applying a distance constraint, the dimension was given in mm and is not translated to drawing properly, it was entered as 1mm on the assembly, more like 20mm is actual constraint. have i the wrong template, i may have started with the wrong template
I am trying to perform curve fitting using mathcad 13 to determine the best coefficients, "alpha" and "beta," that can approximate the equation of the three-parameter model (red line) to the creep equation according to Eurocode 2 (blue line). I cannot change the expression of the parameters in the three-parameter model equation. At this point, I have already tried using functions like "genfit." However, the parameters I am finding are less accurate than those obtained using the trial-and-error method.I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions you can provide.
Hello ! I am using Creo 7.0.7.0 I am looking for a way to add a drawing table with specific dimensions for which we request inspection. I have manually made this table :I am looking for a way to automatically fill this table : the idea would be to refer the dimensions that need to be inspected somewere and that it fills the table and extract the minimum tolerance and maximum tolerance. Also it would be great if this table would update as the dimension or tolerances are updated. Is there a way to do that with Creo maybe with a drawing table, parameters and a repeat region ?
Hi I would like to understand if it is possible to program a .ttd file for Creo Distributed Batch, to import and convert pkg files I am using creo parametric 8 If it is not possible I ask to program a Mapkeys in Creo Distributed Batch, for that activity. If I use creo with normal operations I can convert the file but I need to program the conversion activity without engaging the program as for the steps. I am trying to reprogram a ttd file from another but it fails I am missing some information. I was looking for a guide. THIS IS THE TEST I DID .. ON TTD FILES but obviously it fails Translated by the moderation using Google Translate ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ciao vorrei capire se è possibile programmare un file .ttd per Creo Distributed Batch, per importare e convertire file pkg sto usando creo parametric 8 Se non fosse possibile chiedo per programmare una Mapkeys in Creo Distributed Batch,
