Reconfigure crashing when trying to start. Getting a WER-Dump (pim_re.exe) which i cannot access. Using Creo Parametric Version 9.0.0.0. WER-Dump is included. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Has anyone tried to retrieve a new license file this week? We purchased some additional licenses and I added them to our server yesterday but I have not received the new license files. Usually I get a new license file in about an hour. I also requested a detailed license report about 4 hours ago and it has also not shown up in my mailbox. I did get an email about a case I opened, so ptc.com is not a blocked domain.  

J and Big Omega are 3x3 matrices. Little omega is a 3x1. Mathcad will not solve this with the matrices defined and gets the wrong answer with them undefined. Nu should be equal to (Omega)*J*(Little Omega). Any idea why this is happening?(Mathcad Prime 9.0)

Hi Creo colleagues We use Creo 8.0.4.0, and I try to perform the views primarily in 3D as Combination States before I  apply them in 2D drafting,  This problem is somethin I face only for the 3D visualization.  For cross-section view I face the problem that an annotation derived from the feature dimension becomes invisible because I cut-off the attachment point of the dimension. See pictures: picture 1 with invisible dimension 15:picture 2 with highlighted dimension 15, selected in the Detail Tree:I the selected dimension is released it becomes invisible again. The dimension becomes invisible because the attachment points of the dimension is cut-off by the cross-section. (Experience from several similar situations) If I switch the section direction the dimension 15 becomes visible. BUT, I cannot switch all the times views. Or let's say "I don't like to switch"  views which are more complicated as the shown one. This would lead to undesi

Hello,As the topic, How to select multiple options from one module model?This problem we meet in this kind of situation: A customer wants buy  two options in one proect(one for spare compents);And this image show the problme : Creo knows I want select these two options,there is an alert incon(I dont know how to get the waring text):And after I click "Create Product Variant" , the reslut is not a normal assembly 3D model, but is a new  configurable product like this:Would anybody knows: where the mistake I made, and how to correct it that make Creo generate a normal  assembly model with two options.Thank you!

After Mathcad 15 worksheet conversion into Mathcad Prime 9 I'm getting an error: Please help. Mathcad 15 did not produce an error on those matrix division.

There, he says that most dimensions should come from the model. In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxKmlE8afhs on worst modeling strategies, he says that you should not create your model in a way that represents manufacturing. But, when I make a drawing, it is mostly for manufacturing. And if I did not build my model in respect to manufacturing, then I can not take the dimensions etc. over from the model. I also have made the experience that when I make a new model, it is built up in a way that is different to how it is manufactured. For example, the lathe operator maybe needs diameters and everything dimensioned to one edge of the part. But, when I modeled the part in Creo, I maybe dimensioned a revolve in reference to another revolve. So they do not reference the same edge. Does somebody maybe know how to deal with thi

Hello, I recently updated from Mathcad 15 to Mathcad Prime (8.0) and am having a problem with certain worksheets that contain a specific type of program. Specifically, programs where the calculation is dependent upon elements from the output vector that should already have been calculated. ie  x[i = x[(i-1) + y[i (sorry for the notation - can't work out how to get subscripts on this forum). I have attached a simple example worksheet of the problem. Is this type of self-referential programming no longer possible. If so can anyone suggest a work-around?   Apologies if this question has been asked and answered already. I had a look using the search function but was not able to find anything obvious. Many thanks for any assistance. Ian

I have this weird issue that whenever I connect my phone with my computer via usb cable, my mathcad license will dissapear and whenever I try applying it it prompts me with this error. The license request failed.Requesting MathcadPrime ...C:\Users\kleol\Desktop\sw_license_email_278734.dat: (-9) Invalid host. If I try yo share hotspot from my phone, instead of using ethernet through it with a usb cable, the license appears again and if I try to activate it it works well. Does anyone have any idea how i can fix this issue? I am also using a 30free trial license.  

Flexible offset is changing the chamfer dimension from 0.50 to 0.30 with 0.00 offset. this should not happen.I am using Creo 7.

I added this line to my config.pro for Creo 9.0.5.0: EFX_LIBRARY_PATH X:\OR\Engineering\Systems\PTC_Settings\afx\ It gives an error message when I look at my active configuration that it is an invalid setting. I did copy the <loadpoint> Common Files/afx folder to  X:\OR\Engineering\Systems\PTC_Settings I got the information from a 2018 thread, so I wonder if the settings have changed since then?
