I am using Creo 8.0.4.0 software, As I am creating the sketch and adding the points to find the coordinates values and adding the values in parameter, is there any other way to find out the coordinate's values of the boundary box without adding the sketch and creating points and add. I want to find out the coordinates values without creating the points. if anyone known the answer please reply.Thanks & Regards        

I'm trying to get a programmed text output from testing if a point is inside a circle.  All of the points are either secondary ohms or degrees.  The chuck of programming seems to fail if there are units attached to the numbers.  See Below.   

Hello all, We have recently been upgraded over to Creo 8.0.8.0 from Creo 6.0.6.0. There has been issues with only a single system/user having certain assemblies or their associated drawings crash, but other systems/users have no issues when attempting to access the same assemblies/drawings. The system that is having these issues is the most advanced in terms of hardware, and the other users accessing these same assemblies have not had similar issues with more dated systems. This is occurring after uninstalling and installing again, also after having our IT provide admin access to bypass any firewall issues. I am still unsure if this is an internal issue or not though, as another user just received a new laptop with not as advanced hardware but similar system securities and does not have similar crashes, so that leads me to believe it may be Creo parametric itself. I have spent much time trying to research this topic independently until a recent crash caused a JSON file t

I went through any related topic in the community and the support portal but haven't found the solution yet. I'm 99.9% sure its easily possible. We are using Creo 9.0 We have a parameter in parts and assemblies OBJECT_DESCRIPTION that is also listed as a column in our BOM. Sometimes I find rows in a BOM, with empty Description. In that case I use the Search Tool to find these components with different search criteria, but the most effective way would be to search for the parts that HAVE the OBJECT_DESCRIPTION parameter, BUT it is empty. I attached some pictures. I tried in the search for NULL or "" but that didn't help.

Hi everybody,I have calculation sheets that utilize a reference to a different sheet that contains subroutines to calculate coefficients, factors etc. for the main sheet.In Mathcad 15 this works just fine, in Mathcad Prime 9 however, an error message (see attached image) is returned by Prime, claiming that there are errors in the calculation sheet.Has anybody figured out how to find these errors? When I open the Prime sheet no indication is given that points to the error. As I said, the sheet works in Mathcad 15, so I assume that the calculation is ok.Any ideas?Raiko   

As the title says:  it there a way to achieve it?  The specific case is opening a windchill's attachment (PDF) of a wtdocument Creo 9.0.5 with Windchill 12.1.2.2 hereI thought that clicking the wheel mouse button would do the trick, but it keeps opening the pdf in the same tab of the embedded browser (normal chrome does behave correctly) Is there a place to change shortcuts/settings of the embedded browser?  

I had a circle function that was working fine until I re-defined some of the variables as Ohms-secondary.  The plot is blowing up now and I'm not sure why.  See attached.  

I've been enjoying getting more into Sheetmetal's powerful and capabilities to recreate this stamped handle assembly from my 40 year old wooden machinist chest...First, I took a photo from all directions and used it to trace and sketch the outlines. I swept the handle profile and then added a new body. I converted the first wall to Sheetmetal, and then it was quite easy to use a Sketched Form with the built-in radius on non-placement edges. I then created a hole pattern and used Intelligent fasteners to screw them in place. I am having trouble with the onefn function in Mathcad 15. I get double entries in the 1/f noise vector and if I take the CFFT(ofn) I get a zero as the first result. Also I do not understand the mirrored magnitude plot of the 1/f Noise. I also don’t understand why the range variable even starts at zero. That would give infinity for 1/f. The error shown in the figure below pops up. Error: This array index is invalid. The index must be an integer, not less than ORIGIN, and not greater then the last element. Can you help me?  Note: I attached the Mathcad and Excel files.    

I had a glitch with my wireless mouse on my computer which caused it to erratically move my cursor and click. After I got my mouse disconnected and my computer back under control, all the faces on all my models seem to be permanently stuck in something that looks like the shaded curvature view, with seemingly no way to get the shading back to normal. There is also intermittently a black screen that replaces the entire view window.This video is currently being processed. I tried resetting everything to default in options -> System Appearance, but this does not fix the problem. I am running Creo 10

PTC unsupported question but had to ask. Has anyone tested a later version of Creo, like Creo 7.0.10.0 with Windchill 11.0.M030? I would be interested in any issues that they may have come across during there "TEST".

This should be simple.  I have an issue where I define an equation and get a useful result.  But further down in the mathcad sheet I just need to echo the equation that defines the variable to the user so he can make other determinations from the equation.  How do I do that?  See attached. I need the means to do this in Mathcad 15 and in Prime 8.0.     

I designed and 3d printed this squirrel picnic table using bamboo wood. It all snaps together like a puzzle with some gorilla glue. Screw an acorn to the top and put it outside on a tree. I used a master modeling technique where the entire assembly is comprised of a single part model with multiple bodies that are driven by relations. I allowed the bodies to intersect and used a boolean cut to subtract the differences. I used flexible modeling to offset tight fitting areas with extra space. Then an auto-round on all edges of all bodies. I exported each body as a reference part and arranged them on my print tray. Took six only hours to print. Designed in a Creo Parametric 10
