Hello, i like to calculate  force FA depending on three variables hS, hA, Hz. Mathcad calculates FA and put into a vector. Finally, i like to have the maximum of this vector. Typing max(FA) gives back the whole vector not the single maximum value. Also for mean and other functions. Thank you for your help.

Hello, I'm working with Creo 10, and I need to do some modifications in a model and its external data programatically (through Protoolkit API) based on  some information contained into a XML file which is the primary content of a Windchill Document. I'm wondering if there are methods defined in API which can help me to do that, I don't want to modify the file, only read it. I tried to retrieve the document by using the "ProServerObjectsCheckout" function but it didn't find anything. I'm not sure this is possible since I don't see defined any appropriate handler (ProSolid, ProDrawing, etc.) for WT Documents. Thanks.Ivan B. 

Virtual Interconnect's website is not working. You go to the page, and it prompts you to download something (that's a hard-stop no). The emails to Kieran or Brian Gilhooley bounce back as undeliverable (from two different senders here). Anyone else had problems? The image below is from the browser when trying to load page.

Hi   Is there any API or some approach to verify whether sketch is fully constrained or not? I can get section from sketched feature using Toolkit. From section, I can verify number of dimension and number of constrains... But there is no such thing whether sketch is fully constrained or not.   Any thought?   Thanks and REgards KEtan

Creo Illustrate files doesn't show surface models & sketched lines generated from Creo data. Only solid models are visible. Is there a setting I need to check to be able to show this data in Illustrate?

Hello, I am attempting to run a structural design study within Creo Simulate 7.0.4.0. There is a pop-up window that says "The selected functionality requires a Basic Creo Simulate license". From what I read online, you need three licenses (MECELITEUI, MECELITEENG, and CREOSIM_Standard) to access the basic functionalities of Creo Simulate. I received a config.pro file containing mapkey settings. Some of them work, while others don't execute the intended commands. If I manually set the command via Creo → Options → Mapkeys Settings, it works, but it doesn’t allow me to save the changes, so the old command is active again after restarting the software. Exporting and importing didn’t help either.The command was assigned to the vb keyboard combination, and I tried to set it to the View Bottom orientation.Is it possible to overwrite an existing mapkey so that it persists after restarting Creo, or can only unused keyboard combinations be reliably assigned for this purpose?

I am looking for a more detailed step per step explanation for the Creo FlowAnalysis Premium Module. I need to perform a gear box analysis with the multiphase and the rotation 1DoF module. I have not found any files about the rotation module.Does anyone know where I can finde some information about this topic´? Thanks

Dear all? I'd like to have some deeper / practical information on SVD function. From theoretical lectures it seems to me that Singular Value Decomposition could me a useful tool to tackle ill-conditioned matrix in eigenvectors search for homogeneous linear system. It appears also that SVD can solve a variety of problems; that does not help that much me as explanations are often at a too "high level"..... The material in MathCAD help is, sorry to say, in the same league: too abstract...I had also a look to the only one post on similar subject, and again sorry not so easy to be adapted to my problem (not so specialized by the way...) Could you:1) confirm me that what I've understood from theoretic is reasonably correct 2) give a more workable example: for example the search for eigenvectors (linked to eigenvalues) for a linear system 4 equations in 4 unknowns (using the MathCAD SVD algorithm)? I am using Creo Schematics Release 4.0 and DatecodeF000Layer control is missing. Tried to export settings from another user with the same result. Suspect a corrupted license.

hi, We're using Creo 10.0.6.0. We have many models that while regenerating flag multiple warnings, "Design Intent is Unclear." We always ignore these. I'm wondering though if that's what we should be doing?   Many of the warnings seem dumb. Example: "The boundary of the highlighted surfaces was extended. Unexpected results are possible." If the extend feature should not be used, why does that feature exist? I'm wondering if we should mark the "ignore" checkbox in the Geometry Checks window. Is Creo taking longer to regen the models due to these checks? Is it possible to turn these checks off completely? (And would that be advisable?) Are there cases where the warnings are actually valid and the part really should be remodeled? All feedback is welcome!

How to do pipe end treatment in creo piping?Copper pipe end requires Converging/diverging profile at the end depending on the fitting size. Also the pipe end made it round using pipe end forming techniques. is it possible to do pipe end forming methods in creo piping?Below images are the anticipated shapes (Created in different CAD system, not in creo)

My problem is to manage the state layer in assembly mode, for each kind of component where i have created inside of each one the releated state layer. 4.Complete the tyre sequence, in different rules study mold. 5.I don't know, is a new process. Speed on the drwaings and rules check and the modification is very helpfull for each drawer

Hi Guys I hope you all going good I'm trying to get the dimension from the Gtol, we have one API called "ProGtoldataPlacementGet" from this API we can get the actual Dimension of the gtol but this API is already deprecated. I'm using Creo 10, does any one knows the alternate solution please help to resolve the issue.  Thanks
