Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Hi, I've try to apply some perspective in a drawing view, and it works ! But how can I change the scale now ? Or resize the view ?How can I remove the perspective and retrieve a traditionnal view ? (Creo 4.0)

Hello everyone,   Are any of you getting and issue where you attach a datum to a dim and CREO (drawing) creates TWO of the same datum feature symbols? This is the first drawing I have encountered this problem with. Not sure what's going on, but I can't seem to delete one of them because it deletes both datum feature symbols.    

I am looking for a way to list out all of the Draft Notes in a drawing. My automation needs to 1. open up each drawing 2. list out all of the draft notes. 3. For each draft note, export the contents it to a spreadsheet 4. Continue to the next drawing and do the same.   I know how to do all of these steps except Listing out all of the draft notes  

Hello all, I have a model that can have one of 2 different features that are controlled by a parameter and proprogram in the model. On the drawing side I have created 2 drawing states to add the unique dimensions to the drawing (one for each feature option). The drawing program looks like the following:   IF FLARE_FINISH:0 == NOSET STATE STARTENDIF IF FLARE_FINISH:0 == YESSET STATE FINISHENDIF   where FLARE_FINISH:0 is the parameter in the model that controls the features in the model.   The day that I set this all up everything worked fine. I could switch the parameter back and forth and the model and dimensions would all change as expected. The next day upon opening the same files, one of the drawing states will not properly execute. The program says that is successfully parsed and if i edit the state and run the commands everything looks right until i regen the drawing and everything in the state disappears. The drawing program is used to set a few other states. &nbsp

When I check in a part or assembly to Windchill I want to ensure that the Lock (read only) is automatically reapplied. I've configured our set-up such that all objects are set as read-only when added to a workspace, but once it is unlocked, worked on and then checked in, it remains unlocked. I haven't found the option to "relock" on checkin.   Is there such a setting?

Hi,   I would like to maintain the same piping line stock throughout the company and thought a good place would be to keep it in Windchill. I was able to place it in WCH but "looking" for it in the piping module, I cannot see it in WCH. Any idea on how to get this working? Or is it not possible and do I have to resort to keeping common line stocks in a "normal" server location?

Hello dear Creo/ProE users,   We just wanted to install newest edition of Creo 7, that is Creo 7.0.1.0 but no succes.   PTC seems that has decided to (add/delete few lines of code) eliminate usage of USB network cards with no annoucement or anything simmilar.   In newer computers is only wireless card and if it doesnt work, Creo 7.0.1.0 and newer cannot be used! Does anyone has any tought on this or possible solution?   Best Regards, CreoUser

Hi friends,   I am facing a problem. I imported a  sub assembly of the Creo Element Direct (.pkg). When I try position this sub assembly, it is not possible to select a reference face.  The sub assemvly is pink. Can anyone help me with this question? Thank you very much.

I want to install Creo 6.0 on my Computer having Specifications of Intel Pentinum(R) D 32-bit. Does Creo 6.0 can be Installed on Windows 8 32 bit OS? If yes, where can i find the setup for the same? Because i am unable to find setup for it.

Hello All-  I am working on the assembly family table drawing. Each instance uses the different numbers of the hardware. Is there any way creo can count the number of hardware on each assembly and can add that information on the family table column so I can show that in my drawing? Good day,our server that has flexnet on it recently crashed. We' have reestablished it but then Creo no longer worked.   One thing I thought might be the issue is that the newly restored server has a new MAC address.  it did turn out that that was the case, so I went online and requested our licenses to be switched over to the new address.   we then updated the license on flexnet, however, when I try to run Creo on my local machine, I get this error:       an issue related to foundation visualization. I'm honestly not quite sure what that is for. Seems to be related to windchill?  We've tried everything and just can't get it to work (including reinstalling flexnet).  Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.thanks!

Hello   We have toolkit and toolkit for 3D drawing license. As we know , any API name present into documentation suggest that whether we need 3d drawing license or not apart from toolkit license...   Now , we have a big solutions where lots of api are used ... We cannot search for each api whether it is from 3d drawing license or not... How to identify quickly from entire solution that which api asking for 3d license ?   Many thanks for your help in advance.

I want to remove material in specified feature without any other feature damage

I want to show an assembly mass in a drawing note using pro_mp_mass. Unfortunately, the assembly weighs several thousand pounds, and the note shows the weight to 3 decimal places. Is there any way to round it off to the nearest pound? (or truncate?) We have already tried creating another parameter (mass=pro_mp_mass) with the type set to integer, but ProE automatically changes it back to real number.

When we do save a copy of existing model, there is trail history of the model. How to delete the trail history of the new model which we do save a copy?

Is it possible to use trail files for modeling. I was thinking to record some actions, some modeling, like select a specific publication in one part, and copy it to another active part. Then reuse that trail to my needed daily work.   Would it be possible? If yes how?

Hi,I am trying to define bearing constraint. I have base plate that is supported by two shafts at either ends. These shafts are supported by bearings so that plate can rotate around shaft axis.Please advise how should i apply bearing constraints to these shafts ?Thank you.

Hi, an issue here with calculated values in a drawing table (please see attached picture). Using more digits after the comma is not an option. If instead floor a ceil option is used the the wrong value goes correct, but the rest of the values for the total weight goes wrong. Is there a way to have all values correctly calculated. Thank you in advance.    

Folks   i need help modeling a drawstring bag in its relaxed and compressed position. I figured the top section can be modeled using trajpar or helical sweep. The bottom with surfaces and will connect together using merge, trim, etc. Would anyone share a cad model that resembles this thanks  

Creo 3, M070I'd like to use two conditions to filter a repeat region, can I do this?What I mean is that I want to filter all assemblies out of my region except the ones with the parameter BOM_DISPLAY set to YES.  So, I'd like to display assemblies only if these two conditions are met:&asm.mbr.type  == ASSEMBLY*&asm.mbr.bom_display  == yesBut, I believe that if I put those tow things in the repeat region filters the only items I'll get are those assemblies.  I'd like to get all the parts too (except skeletons and parts where BOM_DISPLAY is set to no).So, what I want is:&asm.mbr.type  != SKELETON*&asm.mbr.bom_display  != no&asm.mbr.type  != ASSEMBLY*EXCEPT where:&asm.mbr.type  == ASSEMBLY*AND:&asm.mbr.bom_display  == yesOf course, that's not going to work.   How can I accomplish all of this?

I have noticed that CREO 6.0.5 os released. Where I can find the improvement s made? Hope that PTC have worked a lot in stability.

HelloI have a question as catogory "how do this" i discover i can open a fille with drag and drop when i use a fille my working directory is my documents it is posible to set automaticaly working directory in same folder of that fille is?i suposse as modify a parameter in config.pro but witch?Thanks people
