I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.1 and DatecodeSP1 Users or Developers are not able to see the mashup Runtime, even though they are in the "Administrators" group. Sometimes, after restarting the laptop or incognito Runtime shows up, but most of the time, the dashboards won't come up. We tried in different ways:1. Different Browsers2. Restarted Laptops3. Hi,We are getting frequent warning events in the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Ethernet Driver even though there are no changes at the PLC end. Communication is mostly stable but warnings keep appearing.Has anyone faced this? Any insights on possible causes or troubleshooting steps would be helpful.Thanks!

I have upgraded our Kepware system and I need to remove LinkMaster and the OPC server that is with it.  Since everything seems to break Kepware licenses, are there precautions that need to be taken in uninstalling LinkMaster or can you just use the Windows Uninstaller?

We have successfully migrated the existing PostgreSQL 15.3 database to a new PostgreSQL 15.3 server and established connectivity with the newly installed ThingWorx 9.4.0 environment on the new servers.As the next step, we need to upgrade ThingWorx from version 9.4.0 to 10.0.Could you please advise on the recommended approach and best practices for performing this upgrade?For your information, ThingWorx and PostgreSQL are hosted on separate servers.

Hello, Has any configured KEPServerEX to be able to run timers between a start and end trigger tags? I want to be able to setup Operation Cycle Time Logging from plcs tags and be able to calculate the time that it takes for the operation. Example: Timer between hit of a start button and final test saying that the test passed without having to create a timer in the plc itself to monitor this operation Thank you

Could you please share the port issue solution?   Here is my setup: Cleco Controller mPro200 - Open Protocol - Port 9002 - Activated Cleco Controller mPro200 - TorqueNet- Port 12345 - Activated Cleco Controller mPro200 id : 192.168.50.20 KepServerEx - Channel:TorqueToolEthernet - Device:Cleco (Open Protocol - 192.168.50.20 - Port: 9002)   Both the controller and the port can be ping successfully from the PC.   However, none of the tags receives information from Cleco. Hi, I have a customer that is using Kepware Server for OPC DA / OPC UA / OPC DA communication between two systems. At the moment we are having issues with certain slow updating tags (booleans and integers) that freezes and are not updated between the two systems. Continuous updating values are no issue... The issue seem to be that the tags gets timed out and are not correctly mirrored between the systems. If we create local subscriptions on the KepServer node on the actual tags the error seem to disappear. Is there a way to configure kepware to establish the subscription to the source tags regardless of the client status? We cant find any correlating error messages in kepware. 

Hi there, I’m trying to set up a connection between Modbus TCP driver in Kepware Server 7 and modbus ModRSsim2 simulator.Port 502 and device ID = 1 are used in both ends.When Kepware starts, it shows the following line i log window:   Channel1 | Starting unsolicited communication. | Protocol = 'TCP', Port = 502.   Should it be something like Modbus TCP Client/Master mode instead ?In Kepware Server 7 where do you switch between Modbus TCP Client/Master mode and Modbus TCP Server/Slave/Unsolicited mode when you set up a channel ?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance,Henrik 

We have a connection issue between KepserverEx 6.18 and Janitza UMG96-S2 power measuring device. The connection is working and the tags can be readed via QuickClient but during the reading the quality of some tags randomly switching from good to bad for a while. The strange is that not all of the tags quality switches and it happens randomly. Does anyone has a similar issue with a Modbus TCP connection?

Hi,We are facing with issue that we are not sending the data thru MQTT.On Kepware side there was no message that we are disconnected from MQTT.After several restarts of the Kepware IoT service, the problem was solved, but it reappeared after some time.We have openlogic-openjdk-jre-8u482-b08-windows-x32 JRE version installed on Kepware server. Thanks in advance.

I have a few analysis models enabled and running. Up until recently the Analysis jobs were getting executed perfectly at an ideal rate, but recently the issue is persistent. The issue is the jobs are getting submitted in the analysis jobs but the time taken before the execution begins, is roughly around 2 minutes. As a result the queueing is increased with the state of each job as "WAITING". This delayed execution is not ideal for our instance, as we are logging data for every 30 seconds , as the execution is delayed the real time updating of the prediction values is also affected. Is there any way to start the analysis execution as soon as the analysis job is submitted? What might be the reason for the delay in the beginning of the job execution? I have attached the photos of the issues we are facing below.   The Version we are using is:Analytics  Version=  9.5.0-r4Thing Worx Software version = 9.5.0-b143

Other things are created successfully, except THING_120573   JavaException: java.lang.Exception: Unable to create thing: THING_120573 : [1,002] Data store integrity violation error: [Error occurred while accessing the model provider.]   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Remarks, SpotlightSearch returns nothing, GetGhostEntities returns an empty array, however thing_model table contains a row with that name.   My Bests, Hung Tran

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.4 and DatecodeSP1 During installer inplace upgrade of thingwrox in windows with postgress as persistent provider. Do we need to stop the service of the existing TWX running ? I didn't find the specifics regarding this.

Thingworx is connected with two windchill - Here GBOM is in one windchill and Part BOM in one windchill. Is it possible to view the structure and additional details at the same time when we select the required one?

Kepware dooesnt allow for logical/logical non-blocking protocols for rockwell PLCs, when accessing Program tags. This means that if an OPC client needs to access program tags, the PLC needs to be setup with Symbolic addressing, which really slows down the R/W rates on the Kepware OPC UA server. Anyone faced this issue?

I have created a mashup and a number of services to create users from a mashup and give them a certain level of access.I am able to create and update user information as an administrator/developer.  However, I have attempted to create a user from a non admin account using my mashup and I keep getting the same error:JavaException: com.thingworx.common.exceptions.InvalidRequestException: Not authorized for ServiceInvoke on CreateUser in EntityServicesI have give all users permission to execute services for the users and read/write properties.  Are there any other permissions I need to add in order for the CreateUser service to function?  Thanks,Paul ​

We are running KEPServerEX​ as an OPC UA Client​ in a production environment to connect to an IGS OPC UA Server. The total tag count is around 6,000.The issue is that KEPServer frequently suffers from connection losses and reconnections, accompanied by socket errors. Simultaneously, when checking the tag quality via Quick Client (QC), the status shows BAD. Although performing a Reinitialize​ temporarily restores normal operation, the problem recurs frequently, leading to significant data loss. This instability has caused serious frustration for the customer.How can we resolve this issue?

Hello, I have a grid widget in Thingworx 10.0.1, and based on hyperlink click event I wanted to call a service. As I have multiple hyperlinks in grid, wanted to perform action based on column type. But when I am clicking on hyperlink in grid, this newly added event in Thingworx 10 “LinkClicked” event is not triggering. Any one implemented this?
