Hello,The question is related to finding of solutions of the below equation:   Solution with solve:   Solution with root:   From the graph we see that the graph cuts the x-axis only in 2 points. Where can we see the other 2  solutions (which are the imaginary solutions) with the root solution on the graph that solve gives above? Or can't we seen on the graph these 2 imaginary solutions of f(x) with the root function/solution?How to find with root function the imaginary solution of the function f(x)?Mathcad Prime 8 file attached.Thank you.

A few days ago, I was able to use the Unicode character map to insert a subscript into a graph label.  I was surprised I could do that, but it worked as noted in the attached png file.  Today, when I opened the same Mathcad 15 file, the subscript was lost and a blank box appeared where it should be.  See the attached images.  This is the ...2.png file. Does anyone have an explanation for this? 

Hello,I would like to learn how to use Mathcad Prime 7 Automation API in VBA Excel.If anyone can share tutorials or examples, that would be great.The "Code Examples" in PTC Mathcad Help are for different languages, I think.Like the examples in VB.NET & VBScript, I tried to study them but struggled to understand the syntax and could not see the similarity with VBA Excel syntax (sorry, i am new to programming). thank you in advance for your help.

Hello I need to make an equation sheet of all these formulas I am using for a project for my Professor.  Mathcad is so nice to do this procedure. However, Mathcad 3.1 Prime wants to calculate it.  I don't need it to calculate it. I just need to show a list of formulas without calculations and without having a variable undefined. if someone could help me with I would be greatly appreciated.  You can see in the picture below to see what I am talking about.

Hello, I'm learning Mathcad and have been working on a problem using the software and had an idea of autogenerating a drawing using whatever variables I am given. To do so, I am using the XY plot graph function. I have created the plot and created some lines using my variable to get a general shape, but each line is infinite. I can't seem to figure out how to make each line a line segment that has an actual start and end. I have attached my Mathcad file which has all of the different variables and the plot, as well as some CAD drawings in there that show what my auto-generated drawing is attempting to look like. End goal is to have different loads being shown as arrows as well applying force to the wall structure.The plot is at the very bottom after all my calculations because I have still been messing with it. When I calculate section properties for a beam, I usually run AutoCAD's MASSPROP command on the section and then do any additional analysis in MathCAD. I'm often doing composite beams, beams with custom shapes, etc. so I can't rely on magic formulas for specific shapes. There are a few properties that I haven't been able to calculate as easily, such as the torsional constant, warping constant, plastic section modulus about plastic section centroid, and monosymmetry constant. Got new desktop computer. I installed my MATHCAD15 CD on it. When starting the application, a window regarding LICENSE SETTING opens. My license file "lm_68802301.txt" is no longer accepted. Trying to rename it to "lm_68802301.dat" didn't work either. Do I need a new license file? Please support. I am trying to program a series of iteration in mathcad, and i can't seem to program the part that I needed to get a good result. Can someone help me proofread my program? my dependent variable is c3 = 1, 1.1, kd2 that will be programmed to 2 different set of rules, if c3<cbal , Fy and if c3>=cbal , (600(d-c3))/c3 My F(c3) and Mcr is not showing a result of array.
