Error "PTC Installation Assistant has stopped working" when running setup.exe for Mathcad Prime" (Applicable only for SUA Edition)  Cause: Microsoft for .Net Framework is missing or is not installed correctly Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 is not installed correctly Resolution:   Run PrimeWixinstaller_64bit.msi from the ptcsh0 folder of installer   Run the fix provided by Microsoft for .Net Framework 4.5.1 Try to uninstall and re-install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package: 32 bit 64 bit

Error message "Mathcad PDSi viewable support: Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed." is displayed during the installation of Mathcad     Cause: System has advance PDF reader already installed   Resolution: Mathcad PDSi viewable support is only required for integration of Mathcad with Windchill. Users can ignore this message and continue with installation as it has no impact on Mathcad functionality. Corrected in Mathcad Prime 6.0 (UI installation) If newer version of Adobe Product is installed, PDSi viewable installation will not be attempted

I am using Mathcad Prime 3.0 F000I have Matchad 15 vers 050 & Prime 3.0. with the pc HP 735 G6 with processor AMD.the excel have suddenn block.If i use pc with intel processor and same installation (w10 office 365, & Matchad) i don't have this blocks.I have tried office 365 32 & 64 bit but it have same problem

First of all I would like to wish you all a successful, prosperous but especially healthy 2021. I also would like to thank all power users on this forum for all their helpful advice given during the last year. I have a large file that contains two types of measurements. The difference between both measurements is the length of their header (10 rows versus 11 rows). I would like to define the index of the files containing 11 rows what would allow me to easily remove the ones I do not need. I am using MC15 but till now I was not able to achieve my goal. I am even not sure whether this is possible. If it is not possible are there other ways to achieve what I want? For illustration purposes I have added a small file that hopefully will clarify the matter. All input is highly appreciated!

New to Mathcad, I'm trying to understand and provide a long hand example of how mathcad can optimise equations with proof so that I can show the calculations and then move onto solve block at some point.  However, the last steps to rearrange the equation by setting it to "0" and solving has stumped me, in order to obtain the critical points!.  The attached file shows where I've got to.  Can anyone advise how I might expand this and achieve my aim ? Hello,   How can i make the displayed values in the resulting matrix show all the input values, and also show all the resulting calculation to show all the results. if you look at the number of input rows for load is more than calculated value for Load( matrix on right). it shows few dots. I have uploaded mathcad15 sheet. Even the following caluclations in the same sheet have the same issue. I could expand them to show all values.   Thanks, Sam  

Controversial I know, but the free version of Prime is surprisingly good. Hated the idea of moving from 15 but had to with a new job.   How I organise my worksheets is significantly different but I can do almost all the programming I used to do in 15 in Prime Express - don't do anything too complicated - and I think the end results are usually cleaner.   Attached are a few examples I was surprised I could do with Prime Express (V5).

I am trying to acquire a trial license. On the licence wizard login page when I click Next button, I get the error "The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseHeader Detail=CR must be followed by LF"

They all have solutions as I checked them manually. I have no idea why this is not working.. I tried changing the guess values to the actual solutions and it is still not working.   Thank you in advance!

No longer have installation CD and when I try to download English version of MathCad 14 (M020) from PTC website, it “errors out” at last minute. Any suggestions on how I can get the installation program for MathCad 14?

Hi,   I have been unable to find a solution online for the problem I am having. I defined a matrix [A:=] with the units of psf. When I restate the matrix with an evaluation [A=], the units are psi. How do I change the units from psi to psf in the evaluated expression? The matrix contains strings and constants (defined with units). I am using an older version (Express Prime 5.0.0.0).   Thank you!
