Hello,I am using Mathcad Prime Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.0.0Regarding the page number format, is there a way to start page numbering with a number other than "1"?If not, is it possible to manually insert the page numbers into the header of each page?
In PTC Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0 I am using an if else statement where I am comparing two variables, qu and qt with the same units, psf. However, I am getting the error that the value must be scalar. I am trying to get a return of qu or qt depending on what their values are. I would appreciate help in a solution for this.
For all of Mathcad's reputation as being a primary math software, it's always a little frustrating that it can't seem to replicate and utilize the math notation commonly used in textbooks, reference books, etc. Many, many references will use special characters of some type in their variable names, but this seems to be next to impossible to replicate in Mathcad worksheets, so I have to use alternate naming for those variables, and then add text noting that this variable is really the one everyone is familiar with that uses a symbol in the variable name. For instance, when referencing stresses parallel and perpendicular to the plane of interest, it's not unusual to use a term like f‖ and f┴ to denote those. (See the screenshot below for how these are were supposed to look. They looked exactly like they were supposed to when I typed them, but then I hit "post" and the editor removed the "invalid HTML" [subscripts]) Anyway, symbols like that in the variable subscripts are common, clear, re
Hello,I want to generate a txt file with two columns corresponding to the t and f(t) variables. MP10 file attached.
I have a working installation in an old PC, but are now bound to go over to an other PC. Installation goes ok but licensing does not work.
I had to program a long expression that runs past the width of the page. Prime has a means of wrapping a math equation. Is there a means to wrap an expression as shown below? TR := "Z1P OR Z1G OR Z2PT OR Z2GT OR Z4PT OR Z4GT OR 51T01 OR 87OP OR (50P1 OR 50G1 OR 67P2T OR 67G4T) AND LOP AND 87BLK"
I have a large portion of calculations that I will be calling a few times and I would like to avoid repeating it it's not a simple function f(x) = x^2, that I could just create a custom one. it has loops, etc I saw a suggestion of putting everything in a solve block, but the solve block has these options (guess, constraints, solver) that I will not be using in my routine:Also, after I defined the subroutine, how do i call the results?i am using Mathcad 9.0.0i attached the file that contains only the part I would like to be the subroutine itselfit has the Inputs, Calculations, Outputs. Should be easy to understand the general idea.
I downloaded the 30 day trial version of mathcad and when i try to install it it keeps giving me the same error which is ''Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install.''But I am sure there is nothing installing at the moment I already restart my PC several timesAny Help! thank you
After several attempts I can't understand what is not working, please can you look at the attached sheet
Ctl g does not work. It teverts to regular text. Is this possible in any table or matrix. The text is in quotes in the table.
Hello everyone! My 17" laptop, which had Mathcad 15 installed, "died" after 15 years of honorable service. Fortunately I still have another laptop that runs M15. Having a new 17", I would like to buy M- Prime 11, but how can I get the retiree discount, if there are only two options for purchasing: 1) Mathcad Prime (Single license) €811/yr; 2) Student edition €90/yr? I thank all those who will answer.
Hi,Can you help me in solving this equation? I'm stock in this equation. I am using Mathcad Prime 10. And the error is said to be "This value must be a scalar or a matrix".
Hello. I don't quite get the way hte summation operator works in my particular example here. Why do I get different values? What do I do wrong here? Best regards,Sergey
Hello,I’m using Mathcad Prime 11 and have registered the Automation DLL successfully. However, when attempting to instantiate ApplicationCreator, I receive E_NOTIMPL. I confirmed that CLSID {A00EB895-D415-433F-A04E-D298A45A7BB7} is registered and points to MathcadPrime.exe, but it appears that the actual COM implementation is missing.Could you confirm whether Mathcad Prime 11 includes the full Automation COM server implementation, or if a separate SDK or license is required to enable ApplicationCreator and related interfaces? Thanks,Johnny Abudayeh
Hi.I'm using MathCad 14 with Windows 11. When I click "help" and "Quicksheets," it says "Unable to open C\contents\qheet\*.hbk. The C:\contents directory doesn't exist. When I create it and load Quicksheets from the install disk, I get "Unable to open C\contents\qheet\toc_qs.xmcd. Should I do a complete reinstall, or will it not work with the new Windows?...Larrylarry@capsense.com
whenever I multiply an array by numbers and store it in an array I get this: because of those brackets, if add other values to u''0 and I try to call u''0 and displays like this: why is that happening and what is the proper syntax to avoid this issue?
Hi,I've a Mathcad 14.0 lic that used to work, but now it says cannot connect to lic server system. Feature: MATHCAD. Please advice.
I am using MathCAD Prime 10I’m working with a system of four vertically stacked blocks, each 4 feet high. The widths of the blocks are labeled B1, B2, and B3, and the bottom elevation of the lowest block is defined by BotEL.The ground surface is sloped and described by a series of known (X, Y) coordinates. For each block, I need to:Determine the coordinates of two intersection points with the ground surface. These are labeled a1 and b1 for the first block, a2 and b2 for the second, and so on.The "a" points represent vertical lines extending down from the right edge of each block. Their X-coordinates are defined by the block geometry, while the Y-coordinates should be interpolated from the ground surface at those X-positions.The "b" points correspond to lines inclined at an angle ψ relative to the ground surface, as illustrated in the attached image.I've also attached a Mathcad file and a diagram to help illustrate the problem setup.Note: This is a more detailed version of a previous ques
Prime 10. I want to make an xy plot of a function. The function evaluates correctly. But when I plot, it says the units are not compatible. I assigned units to the axes
suka I have mathcad installed in my PC, and want a free 30 days license but cant obtain it due to not being able to find a "product code".
Good morning, everyone,I'm currently working on a Mathcad sheet. I have two time-dependent functions that I want to combine with a differential equation. However, I keep getting an error message, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.I managed to get it working in MATLAB, but I would like to finish this properly in Mathcad. The issue occurs on the last page, where the solve block isn't isolated from the rest of the calculations Does anyone know how I can solve this? Thanks in advance!
Hi,I have a nested loop where I wish to calculate crack growth under a block of stress range data and then continue the calculation for multiple blocks to see how many blocks of data it takes until failure (crack is half diameter of shaft).I am sure there is a simple fix, but I cannot seem to find it!Any assistance would be appreciated. Ross
Hi Mathcad 10.0 Prime User,I want to make a table with different variables. My Q is always different, on which the other variables depend on. Q has to be 2 or higher. So if someone can just show me how to do the basic table, I will than use my Q's etc. I really have no clue how this might work in Mathcad. File is attached. Thanks.Saro
Hello @LucMeekes ! I am using prime 9.0.0 and I cannot seem to find an option to add multiple entries to a single plot like in this answer. I can just copy and paste the plot you generated, and it works, but I would like to know how it is done, please 🙂 Reference topic: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Multiple-Plot-Entries/m-p/652806#M925
Dear PTC Support Team,I created my account yesterday and successfully activated the 30-day trial license for Mathcad Prime. The application initially showed that I had 29 days remaining. However, after closing and reopening the software, I lost access to the full version.Additionally, my local license file does not appear to work, and I can no longer use the application. This is extremely urgent, as I need access to Mathcad to complete my thesis project in order to graduate from university. Please assist me in resolving this issue as soon as possible.Thank you in advance for your support.Kind regards,Florin Poppopf34620@gmail.com
