Mathcad Installation

I activated a 30-day trial on an older computer, but almost immediately, problems with my computer (not related to the download) forced me to re-install Windows 11, which was a major project over the next three weeks in order to get the computer back running smoothly. Needless to say, my trial period ran out. I contacted the chat bot online and it told me to reinstall Mathcad 11 Prime, which I did, but when requesting a 30-day trial license, the program ran my email address and said I had exhausted my number of trial requests. I am wondering if I can please re-try the software for 30 days, since my computer is running well now? I have plans to buy the software sometime in the future but am not able to at present.

I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeM050Hello,We have Mathcad 15 M050 and one of our users would like to save their files to their network share but when opening files from their share and trying to edit them they get a message that it is "read only" and when trying to create a new file and save it they get a message "that the file is in use and to save it using a different name". We came across this post: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/MathCAD-File-can-only-be-opened-in-READ-ONLY-from-server/td-p/646022 and they mentioned that it is a known issue for M050. I was wondering if there is any recommendations or suggestions we can give the user.Thank you

I need some Mathcad 15 files converted to prime files so I can open and use them. These files were obtained from the FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) website. I currently have a trial version of Prime and unable to convert them on my own. Can someone convert these files for me, please?

Dear Mathcad Team,If we purchase a Mathcad "Locked License" for one PC do we have got a downgrade right to Mathcad 15 with Windows 10?The reason is that we do have a lot of Mathcad files on Mathcad 15 which cannot be converted to the current version of Mathcad as our customers in the entire world are still on Mathcad 15.Thank you.Best regards,Thomas Lemke

Dear PTC Support,I am a student at the Linzer Technikum (HTL Linz, Austria), using a full educational license provided by the school.I am unable to activate Mathcad Prime when I use my personal laptop outside the school environment (on a different home network/internet connection).The license activation fails with the error: "(-9) Invalid host." (License status "Ungültig" / Invalid).Steps taken and results:Using the License File: The license file (...sw_license_email_738123.dat) fails because it appears to be tied to a specific network/host ID present only at the school.Using the License Key: I have attempted activation using my assigned license key, but it resulted in the same error. Dear PTC Community, I have Mathcad-11 from the 1990's, & I need to reinstall it after a HDD failure. However, PTC (Mathsoft) doesn't run their license server anymore & therefore, the product cannot be activated. Can someone please assist ?

Hi, This does not help. The download link takes me to the email request form. There is no option to choose the version. I need to install version 10. I have version 11 but I need to share files with  a client that is using version 10.

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Issue occurs using Mathcad Prime v9.0 and printing a file to PDF using either Adobe PDF or Bluebeam PDF.When PDF-ing Mathcad Prime files that use "Areas," which are collapsible containers for portions of the file, the contents of the Area are printed as raster images instead of text. This is problematic for several reasons:1. Rasterized text is not word-searchable or selectable2. File size balloons considerably compared to text3. The PDF takes much longer to print since the text must be converted to raster by the PDF distiller.Is there a workaround or has this issue been addressed in newer releases of Mathcad Prime?

I went from one broken PC to another, and I can't get a license on the new PC. I tried the website to obtain a license, and I got "you have reached the maximum number of licenses". I can't open a ticket because I don't have permission for an ID. What an absolute runaround. I will never recommend this product to my employer. Please fix this or give me my money back.
