when is Creo 4.0 expected?

I tried searching but couldn't find what I was looking for.  I have written a report and want to only give access to an individual, management, and not an area, ie. Change, Library, Project, etc.  Can this be done?  And if so, how?  Is this something that I would need Cognos for?  I'm currently on Windchill 10.2 m030.

Hi,     When I trying to unlock the makefile at customer end I got following error.     The requested binary file is not a Toolkit application.Same makefile working perfectly on my System which have toolkit license. I am trying to plot the curves of the properties of monoethylene glycol solutions in water, working from the parametric equations given in M. Conde Engineering "Properties of Working Fluids - Brines" (http://www.mrc-eng.com/Downloads/Brine%20Properties.pdf). Ultimately, I want to show the curves cut off properly at the freezing point line, as in the Conde document, and also to be able to show index lines for a specific temperature and glycol concentration. But I am struggling to get even the curves to plot correctly. If I set up the equations using range variables for glycol concentration and temperature I get the right sort of graph but with 'flyback' lines between each curve. Here's an example, for the dynamic viscosity; the various curves are for 0%, 10%..60% glycol in water.I have found the various discussions here on plotting families of curves and waterfall curves. I am trying to follow the method illustrated by Valery Ochkov in his example sheet 2D_Plot_y_x_a.xmcdz, but I am not

Hi,We are using ThingWorx 7.0.0 version. Trying to create extension in Java using the Java SDK.We downloaded 2 files 1. TW_Download_Java_SDK.zip and 2. MED-61061-CD-055_M020_ThingWorx-Java-SDK-6-0-0-189.zipWe did not find the Java SDK for version 7.0.0.Question 1) where to find the Java SDK for version 7.0.0.?Question 2) When we used the above mentioned zip files when creating ThingWorx project in Eclipse (Mars), we are unable to create it. It says "The SDK location does not include the Thingworx SDK.".ThanksPavan

My device collects state information - a single property value - and sends the collected data in bulk to the server when a connection is available. Each record has start time and end time and the state value that held during that period. When a state change occurs the device generates two records - one that indicates the when the previous state ended and one that indicates when the next state began. What I want is every time the state value changes from A to B I want all three values logged to the ValueStream. In Thingworx, then, I have an entity that is bound to the device, The entity has 3 properties: LastOEEStartTime, LastOEEEndTime and OEEState all marked IsLogged:true. I defined OEEState with aspect DataChange Value and the other two with DataChange:Never. I thought this would do it.The results of QueryPropertyHistory show that I am getting a record in the Value stream for every record the device is sending. I'm able to connect a single Thing(Edge) to Thingworx..which works ok.It is a Thing which is based of a ThingTemplate, which is based of a RemoteThing.What I'm trying to figure out is how my Edge gets associated with the Thing I created. I got another similar Edge online, with a different Application Key, and it started interfering with the first Edge on ThingWorx.Any insight into this.Also .. do I need a different application key for each Edge I add?

How to set the default value for a Boolean attribute? It is displaying "This Attribute does not support default values" but Boolean type support default values.

I am trying to create the round on the sharp end of a helical sweep but want to be able to specify the radius and dimension from the end of the sweep. They may not always result in tangency to the end face.I have tried using a swept cut but it is really hard to keep it tangent to the helical surface in Cartesian since everything I am working on is really in cylindrical coordinates. Also, that method doesn't produce my desired result it just cosmetically looks close. Using Creo 2 M130 or Creo 3 M090 i.e. If I want a 25mm radius round that begins 8mm in from the end of the helical sweep only tangent to the swept surface but intersecting the end face not tangent to it.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have an example Thing with a valuestream attached to it.In Composer, I have a timeseries chart displaying data from "QueryPropertyHistory" of the Thing.... but this only spans for the last ~500 values. How can I get all the data that was logged in the timeseries chart. Do I attach the valuestream to the chart?

Hi,I noticed some ThingTemplates have a configuration section. Say, for example, the mail extension or mqtt extension.I know you can create, enable, and start/stop things through rest, and even give them a template, however is there a way to remotely set these configuration settings. Perhaps via REST or another method.For example, in the mail extension's configuration settings: Can you remotely set (i.e. from PC) the mail server address, user details etc.Kind regards,John

My company recently learned that PDMLink is in our future and I'm looking for information how to use a PTC PDM product to manage Solidworks files?Is it realistic to start with a local installation of Windchill PDM Essentials as a short term solution and stepping stone to an enterprise wide PDMLink system? Will either of these systems accept Solidworks 2016 files?Thanks,Josh

I'm sure recently that I saw a topic in a document that indicated that I will need to utilize Oracle instead of SQL because the Data Migration Utility used for Intralink 3.4 to Windchill is not compatible with SQL?     Does anyone know what Windchill Admin User Guide I may have saw this in?

I've double checked to make sure that I'm using the literal (".") and vector ("[") subscripts correctly to the best of my knowledge. I've set my origin to 1 at the top of my sheet. I have been using a spreadsheet in Math Cad 6 that worded fine for years.  Upgraded to Prime 2 and the spreadsheet no longer solves the find command in a solver block.  What can I do to remedy??  The find command  has an error statement that the variable is undefined.  Can't seem to be able to cut and paste into this doc
