Hi all, i have a question about simplified reps. I have an assembly with a user defined simplified rep. Is there a way to set this rep to display permanently? Hi,I have two different files in which I have the same function defined. For this function, I want to perform a "minimize" in order to find out its minimum across a certina interval of the variables that make up the function. I would have expected the guess values to have no effect on the rezult of the minimize, but apparently they do have (I get different results from applying "minimize" depending on the guess values I write. Does anybody know whty this happens? Below you may find a screenshot of the two different mathcad files, side by side. I have also attached the files themselves.Thank you and best regards,Cristian

When I create an Analysis from the Analysis tab in Creo Parametric (no "Behavioral Modeler"), the only "type" option available is Prime Analysis. From the Prime Analysis dialogue, I can initiate or load a MathCAD Express Prime 3.0 file. I gather from my reading that in order to pass data between MathCAD and Creo, I need to assign a region tag to the math region in MathCAD. I have read that this is done by right-clicking on the region to bring up the Properties dialogue where the tag can be assigned. Unfortunately, when I right click on a math region in MathCAD Express, there is either no response or just a simple cut/copy/delete menu with no properties item. I can find no alternative for properties or region tags in MathCAD Express Prime. Am I correct in concluding that I'm up the creek without a paddle, or have I overlooked something?

Hi all, I need to divide different imported 2D shapes/curves into triangles having (almost) equal sides. Is it possible in Mathcad?I've found that there are many triangulation functions in MATLAB like trimesh:http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/triangulation-representation.htmlbut I'd like to use the results in Creo 2.(I'm not a MathCad or MATLAB user -so far-, just looking for possibilites and solutions.)

I am having difficulty promoting an SQL CTE through Implementor. The error I get indicates that the temporary table name immediately following the WITH predicate cannot be found on the target environment. But of course in an SQL CTE this table is not intended to be a permanent object and won't be found anywhere but in the statement itself. I can compile and use this view in my local library but I have not been able to promote this view in Implementor.Does someone have some experience in this area that might have a solution for me?The version of Implementor is 10.3.The following is the the error I get from the joblog. When saving an assembly, often times Creo will ask me “Do I want to save/continue/make read only/etc” parts that have really not been intentionally modified. When I indicate “Make Read Only”, I get the message “[filename] could not be saved to the workspace”. Then if I save a second time, the assembly is saved “[filename] has been saved”.Is this something we are doing wrong that makes us have to save twice? Some procedure we need to correct? Hi,We are developing solutions around PTC products and Windchill in particular. We've installed Windchill for our development purpose, but without the "Golf Cart" example. Is there a way to install it afterwards?Thanks.

Hi all, has anyone else noticed the invisible icon in the relations window of Creo 3? Its there if you look, right between paste & toggle. Look for your yourself. Last week i pointed out that the rename function has lost its icon picture. Now i just have a blank space (as shown below) between 2 other icons, but if i click in the space, it launches the 'rename window'. I have run into an issue, I want to add 3 new columns to my sql table and when I compile it in my local library the table and views all create correctly, however when I promote my table and views to QA I get an error from implementers ALTER table statement....ADD COLUMN MY_FIRST_NEW_FIELD FOR COLUMN MFNFLD CHAR (1) CCSID 500 WITH DEFAULT 'N' NOT NULL BEFORE MSNFLDADD COLUMN MY_SECOND_NEW_FIELD FOR COLUMN MSNFLD CHAR (1) CCSID 500 WITH DEFAULT 'N' NOT NULL BEFORE MTNFLD...I am adding the columns to the middle of the create table script and it seems like the implementer ALTER TABLE is unable to handle 3 new fields in the middle of the table.MSG ID SEV RECORD TEXT SQL0205 30 1 Position 1 Column MSNFLD not in table MYTABLE in IMB275S. The error suggests that implementer is trying to add the first new field before the second new field...before the second new field is created.HELP? Anyone run into this?

I am sorry, because I guess that my question is either very trivial (and I missed it), or without positive answer.I need to change in a Mathcad (v.11 still, but I tried also with v.15) a matrix dimension from 3 to 2. I have several equations, with "identity(3)" function, that needs to be corrected accordingly. I thought that the replace command would suffice to make a global change. Yet there is no way that Mathcad finds (both regions selected) the terms "identity(3)" in my worksheet, even if they are there. The culprit seems the bracket character. Is there a way to make the find/replace command work? Thanks.

While i was attempting to install Creo2.0 on my computer it froze and i had to restart it when the Creo Common Files were only about 10% fully installed. I can now no longer continue to install the remainder of the common files which is also cause me to not be able to run any of the installed parametric, direct etc.   I have tried searching for ways to completely remove all the files associated with Creo so that I can try to reinstall. I have also tried two system restores on my computer to no avail.   Hoping that someone can help me with a solution as I have assignments that need to be finished asap.

Hi,Can someone provide a script example that reads properties from the 'MKS Solution' item type? We have the need to add some of our own global properties that would alter some of the conditional-logic in our scripts. The 'MKS Solution' is a singleton and already has many properties that apply to the entire solution. So it seems like using our own custom properties in the the 'MKS Solution' would best fit the design/architecture that exists.In addition, could these properties be updated from script? For an application like this, we would make use of some 'lazy initialization" logic in our scripts to handle the situations where these properties might be missing (like during an upgrade to a new version of Integrity).-Sean

I'm currently trying to reproduce the concept model that Jordan made on this week's Robotalk, but I'm having a tough time with it. I'm not sure if its the fact that I'm still using 2.0, and he was running 3.0, or if I'm doing something else completely different. I'd like to get this figured out, so I can assist my teams this weekend as they work on their plans.When I open up a new assembly, my model tree looks different from Jordan's. I don't have the datums displayed in the model tree like he did.This is how Jordan's model tree looks.When I click create, and try to "copy from existing", there is nothing to copy. Is there a setting I need to change that will allow me to see all the datum planes within my model tree? They appear correctly when I'm creating a part, but not an assembly.Thanks

I have follwed the instructions and been notified that the download was "successful" but when i go to start it, it comes up with an error box saying: "creo 2.0 from PTC has stopped working""a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."Ive tried installing/ uninstalling 3 times and im still getting this failure. Im now falling behind in my class as I cant work from home.
