Hello guys!I purchased a Matchad 15 student version and I just bought a new laptop to run analyses in parallel. I would need to use Matchad on either laptop at different time, i.e. Matchad would run on one machine only per session. The two laptops are on the same network and connected to internet through a single router. Is there any quick way to move the license from one machine to the other any time I want? Hi all,I am working on expanding the functionality of an old program to be able to perform an vector of cases for an already established vector. I have worked out all of the issues within the program to calculate each reasulting array/matrix. Now I want to compare results across the matrices using the max function. Previously I had used the augment function to combine vectors, but that isn't keeping the m,n combinations needed to be compared across the matrices at each m,n. Basically, I have x number of 11 x 7 matrices that I want the maximum value for each m,n combination reported in a resulting 11 x 7 matrix. I have inserted the image below the shows what I have described above. I want the maximum value for each m,n in this matrix for the X number of nested matrices. This example just shows 2 matrices are nested.I would greatly appreciate the help of the community. This is such an obvious topic I was surprised by the lack of information in the Styler manual, help files and on-line. It seems like a really obvious topic to me, but I could only find a single reference to counting the sheets and/or graphics of a figure in the Arbortext help file documentation. "Counting Sheets of a Figure in Styler" which is basically a FOSI topic, and "Coding FOSI support for sheet count". Is there an equivalent topic showing how counting sheets and/or graphics can be done within Styler itself? Ideally, the styling should be able to recognize when there are multiple graphics/sheets in a figure and output the Figure number, title, followed by (Sheet 1 of n), thus if there are multiple sheets/graphics in a figure it should output something like "Figure 1. Name of Figure (Sheet 1 of 5)".

As part of a Mathcad sheet, I wish to include a short section on the derivation of an equation. This involves a definite integral.I can write the initial integral with limits, and can write the ultimate result of the integral. However, as a lot of the terms cancel out or evaluate to zero when the limits are applied, I would like to be able to state the symbolic result of the integration, but without the limits substituted in, as is usually denoted by square brackets with the sub and superscripts following for the limits. Is there a way to display this type of format in Mathcad? I can neither work out a way to force the square brackets to be displayed, nor add the required sub and superscripts.Thanks

Hi everyone, I hope this is easy to understand:I made a new Creo part and by default it was checked into Windchill in the context called /Working/mystuff/I actually wanted this part to be in another context called /Products/widget, but when I try to move it, I get the following error: Life cycle template of object "my_part.prt, 0.0" does not exist in the target context.The strange thing is if I were to check in this part directly into the /Products/widget context, things work just fine.In the past, my remedy for such "filing mistake" was to open my new part in Creo, delete the one I mistakenly filed from the /Working context and then check-in the opened part into the correct /Products context. However, this time I can't do this because the part was filed when I checked in the parent assembly and so now it is a dependent and can't be deleted.I think the answer is to change the life cycle template of this part, but I'm not sure how to do this...Please help me while I try to read the Wind

In the model ribbon clicking the style button does nothing. There is no response of any sort the next ribbon that is expected does not appear. Is there anything that I should have installed to be able to do this or is it that I am currently using a trial version? Thanks,Chris

Hello all, I have a assembly I am using. The parts I started using for the assembly got moved to different folders on accident and now the assembly cant find the files to use. Is there a way to tell creo to look in a new places for these files or to re associate them some how? Hello everyone, I'm trying to square the the values in a non-square matrix in a function. In order to do this, I use the vectorize operator above the operation (squaring or multiplying the radii together). However, I'm getting an error in this step, which appears due to the definition of the function. I'm not able to determine the cause, as if I were to perform the operation on a copy of the matricies, it works just fine. Furthermore, I've used the operation in a fuction definition other places in the file.Thank you!

Another new MathCAD user. Been mucking about with Prime for a while and able to find/work out most of the things I am looking for, but having trouble with 3D plots. In particular, I don't know where I am failing in moving a set of 2D plots into a surface within a 3D plot.There are two range variables I have defined (d and theta) and the output is gamma as a percentage. I have placed the problem in question on the last page (4/4), with a working 2D plot on the page before. Could someone please point me in the right direction?Thanks in advance!

Hi. this is satya. I've downloaded creo 2.0 student copy from the ptc website. I saved that on my desktop. Nextly I've turned my firewall OFF and started installation. It was asking for licence key but I couldn't find the licence file.Could you guide me on archieving a licence key for the product?

In Creo 2 Parametric, I'm having an odd issue. I've done this a thousand times in the past without issue, but for some reason, it is no longer working.   In an assembly drawing, I'm attempting to use component display to blank and change some components to phantom transparent, but after I select the components and style, nothing happens. Hi Tim/Every one! As you know we've got a basic printer as school and it works OK but- now that we've got going with Creo I'm experimenting with intefacing components to make "real world" products.Its a ring and when you wiggle your fingers the arms move!Except our 3D printer is struggling to print the arms.I've uploaded the Creo file (any suggestions on getting the meech right?) and an stl version if anyone owoud like to have a go at tthe product.Let me know how you get on and hoow the parts interfaced.Best regardsPeter

Hello there,I would like to know the way to resize images in XML document by using Arbortext Styler.Although I know the way to adjust the size of images in Arbortext Editor with attributes (width, height etc...), I am not keen to use this way.The images are too big in the document at the moment, so I would like to make them look small through a stylesheet.Could you give me any tips please?Thanks a lot.Tomomi

Creo quality agent fails to install at 36%. Tried many times. Made sure to run setup as admin and turned of antivirus. When I run creo parametric, it says I need to register the quality agent. I say OK and it crashes with error code 0x0...09. I know the quality agent is required for academic licensing. This is for an FTC team. Hi everyone,I am planning to update dozens of PTC Creo installation to the version 5 M220 from M180. I install the program from a network location without any issue, however, I would like to be able to create a trail file. I followed the guide on the installation book, so I wrote on my command prompt:\\location\setup.exe -uilogI didn't get any message, the installation started and completed without any error, but the trail file was not created. I tried many times wihtout success. I have the permissions to write on the network location.Does anyone has any idea of the reason or could help me to produce the fail to perform a silent installation, please?Thank youRegards

I have 2 questions.1. I have assembled a *.cem (creo layout 2.0) but I can's see any of the lines I sketched in creo layout 2.0. 2. I have creo parametric 2.0 m070 (academic) but I didn't find the button to start creo layout direct from creo parametric.What have I mised or have I only the wrong version?

I have a question regarding the sequence of numbering in Styler. I have a description Data Module to which I have added Division to levelledPara. I styled figure as a Formal Block. Problem 1: With each division the figures base numbering restarts at 1; I would simply like the numbering to run continuously throughout the document. At the moment, due to this, I have added the previous division number to the gentext, thus Figure 3-1, Figure 4-1... I would like to do without this.Problem 2: In the case of foldouts the numbering does not continue, it restarts, so I currently have Figure 1 (which is not a foldout), followed by a foldout Figure 1. The foldout element seems to be interfering with the base numbering.Any suggestions?

Hello!I am using the Creo 2.0 Student Version and have had to request a new license a few weeks ago. I did so on the website and with the new product code I was able to create a new license file. However, when starting up Creo 2.0, I am still getting an error concerning license failure. Thank you very much for your help!

Hello All. Within my program, there is a solve block that finds some parameters with given guess values. For repeating the calculations, the guess values must be changed according to the new set of inputs.Is there any way to define a local function that automatically change the guess values and use this local function inside the main body of my program?the attached file contains the solve block that I need to express as a local function.thank you in advance.

Is it possible in some way to check the cable movement dynamically if one of the parts is moved?In other words: if I have 2 parts with the cable between them, and I move one of the parts? HelloI am looking for a CLI command to open a file in the sandbox view with the file selected.The command "si viewsandbox --gui" opens the sandbox view but I could not find a way to get a specific file selected with all the other files visible.si viewsandbox --gui $file will only display $file.The option --selectionFile seems not to work.Many thanksKind RegardsThierry
