Ok, I'm trying to create a patter of a cutout for a motor cover. I need ventilation on the backside of the cover for heat dissipation. When trying to pattern the Extrusion and Flat, the Extrusion is created but not the Flat. I get regeneration errors stating that the Flat has failed. Subject instructions are to "unzip" the zip file. However, there is not one file but two ('MED-100WIN-CD-390_M120_Win32-64.zip.part' and 'MED-100WIN-CD-390_M120_HelpCenter.zip.part'), and neither are .zip files: both are .part files. One cannot "unzip" .part files until they are successfully merged into a single .zip file. Can someone please provide the instructions for accomplishing this merge operation?

Is it an Error or one property of Mathcad (as in BASIC or Pascal, not C)?If 2>3=0 why we must check one more second operand!?

We have a hardware kit that is shipped one per box of two components. We also have final drawings of the parts which have a quanitity of 0.5 for the hardware kit when just one part is shown. I'm having trouble assigning, accepting or reassigning tasks (action items). I get a message stating that I can only reassign workflow tasks that I own or are in an object that I manage. I doubt I manage the context, but I created the task and assigned it to myself, so I thought I should be able to reassign.Anyone else having this trouble? It seems to happen with both a Site and a FIRST level account.

Hi, I have made a new format with a table as the title block and used the offset tool from the edge of the sheet to create my in margin boarders. This works great for all my drawing formats and sheet sizes but I have noticed that when I exit CREO and try to re-open the drawing, that has my custom format in, the boarder lines are gone. The table used for my title block is still there and intact but I have to re-insert my format to get the boarder lines to come back.   Is there some way to keep them from disappearing? I am using Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 6.0. I need to open 3D files I created in AutoCAD 2013. I tried importing DWG files and DXF files into Creo but without success.   When I try to open AutoCAD DWG files I first get the following message in Creo Elements: "The data must be migrated to the PTC Creo Elements/Direct annotation structure. Confirm to continue." Then I click "Continue." Then what happens is an extremely distorted version of my 3D AutoCAD drawing opens, with only a few lines and most of the drawing missing.   When I try to open an AutoCAD DXF file I sometimes get the following message: "The file Connector Piece 9zzv - 2013 - dxf.log cannot be loaded by any of the following methods: Packages, Universal MI." and then I cannot go further.   Sometimes when I try to open an AutoCAD DXF file I get a different message: "The data must be migrated to the PTC Creo Elements/Direct Annotation structure. I'm working on a heat exchanger analysis problem and was going to use a Given/Find Solve Block to solve a system of equations. There are two heat exchangers in series. Near the top of my mathcad sheet I input the given values for the hot inlet fluid temperature and cold inlet fluid temperature, the physical properties, and mass flow rates. I then list my initial guesses and create the Given/Find block but get an error when using the Find function. Any hints/tips/tricks/concerns?Thanks!

I am trying to solve for TP57, and in Mathcad 15, I select TP57, select symbolic, variable, solve and get the below result, which seems reasonable.I now have MathCAD prime 3, which does produce a nicer looking document, but what is happening here? .. why is the result so drastically different ?is there anything I can do, besides reverting to old MathCAD15 to solve a symbolically?thanksKasper

As far as I know there have not been any changes but for some reason we are unable to start workflows. We can set the state to "start workflow" but the actual workflow does not run. Also, the objects do exist and I do have access to the folders where the objects reside. We are using Windchill 10.1 and the issue is on our DEV server. How would I go about fixing the above issue? I'm not quite sure where to start.

I'm seeing some issues in Team management.1. I'm unable to add members with Site level accounts into roles other than their initial one. The search options only seem to return First level accounts and I haven't figured out how to edit a Site level account into a First account. We've got mentors who are PTC customers with preexisting accounts. Rather than force them to create new accounts with different email addresses, I'd like for them to be able to work with their current accounts.2. Search function in Add Members time's out before it returns results. Sometimes this is recoverable with wait or refresh attempts, but it looks like it's searching a large dataset that doesn't have a good index.3. Using local email client to send mail to the team transfers the subject line, but not the addressees from Windchill.

I think there is a problem with the Creo model set I downloaded from the PTC FIRST site. The toughbox on back side of AM14U Wide assembly is too low. Looks like output shaft is mated to lower bearing instead of upper. I pulled a fresh set down to make sure the problem was not something I did locally. Maybe this can be fixed before a lot of teams try to use the models.

In my assembly I have created a parameter, relation and a note calling the parameter which shows the value of the parameter. I placed this note on my graphics area flat to screen. To change my parameter value I have to open the parameter and change the value then select ok. Is there a way I can just select (double click) the note on the screen and change the parameter value there? I am running Creo Parametric 2.0 M100. Hi everyone, I'm rather new to Windchill, and I plan to take formal training to come up to speed and be able to more properly perform my newly inerited task of system administration, so please bear with me and try to answer the following question about revision process in our current setup (Windchill 9.1):When a designer performs a revise operation on a Creo part that exists in a cabinet at revision 0.5, the part in the cabinet stays the same, but is now at revision 1.0. The designer then checks out this part, makes the intended design changes and checks the truly-revised part back into the cabinet, now at revision 1.1.But in the database, there is now an iteration 1.0 that is simply a copy of iteration 0.5; this seems rather wasteful, resource-wise.So, is this actually intended, or is our "lifecycle" process buggy? Or am I supposed to set up some windchill service that automatically purges these unnecessary iterations? Or are we doing something wrong with the revision operation? I get

HiWe want to run a query after running the query in the resultset I to show some items in different colors.Can I do this ?For example :I want to Run all "Requirements Query" and to see all the records at the same time I want the Completed Requirements Should Show in Red (or any other color) or Background color should be red or Text color should be red like this I want to differ the item.

I've got a worksheet with an issue I don't understand. I have defined a set of sample indices using "i:=0..Nx-1" then build a spreadsheet using vectors with those indices. I wanted to see the array values when Nx=4 so I set the value and all was ok. When I go to remove the detail ... the [0,1,2,3] display that is ... the rest of the worksheet fails with a message "The value must be a scalar or a matrix". I know I'm being a bit vague but I don't really know how to better explain it so I have attached both good and bad versions of the file.Any help would be appreciatedThanks,Paul
