I went looking today for the GCRI (Granite Cross Release interoperability) plugin that allows older fersions to open files from newer (2 or 3 releases back, I think), and I couldn't find it.  A google search for "GCRI" or "Granite Cross Release interoperability" came up empty as did a search here at PTC.com.  I found a link in an old email to the page for it (http://www.ptc.com/products/granite/gcri/free-download.htm) and it's no lionger there. Did PTC discontinue this or did the page get moved during their recent web site redo?

Hello,I am trying to install the Windchill but I don't have oracle enterprise or stander edition will it be possible to use Oracle Express Edition 11g for our Windchill Database installation

I have problem using the lookup function for tables with units (all data in mm).I was reccomended by a mathcad espert to use the built-in lookup function. However, this lookup does not give correct results when searching in the first column when the table has a unit.Does anyone have a solution for this?

Can anyone help me to change the font size of just the super and subscripts of a drawing dimension? I have drawing (dwg1) that I want to look like and old drawing (dwg2). Hello all,I remember using VSS (Variable Section Sweep) in Wildfire 4 with two trajectories and one section. As long as the section was tied to the trajectories, the section would vary based on the differences in the trajectories.I am using Creo Parametric 2.0 M120. I am attempting to create blades to be used in a Conical Inducer. I have the top and bottom of the OD of where the blades needs to be at. I also have the ID (a conical shape that will be assembled on the shaft) The blades will need to be normal to the OD of the conical core. Since the thickness varies as it sweeps around the conical core, that is why I would like the program to control the thickness.I have attached a JPG file and a .prt of the model.I am not able to get it to work in Creo Parametric, I was wondering if someone could help me with the missing variables that I seem to not be selecting correctly.Thanks in advance for all your help.Kevin BrandtThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Te

I created a series of parts with Creo Parametric 1.0 and would like to work with them at home in Creo Elements/Pro 5.0.   When I attempt to open the *.prt files, I get message ' * cannot be retrieved.'   Are these compatible? I'm using a student license at home if that makes any difference.   Thanks--Brandon

Running 10.2 M020 with SW2013/2014. We've notice an issue that the "view information" page load blank for any content, commonspace or workspace. Literally loads a blank page. Can still access actions, but can't see anything. Thoughts?

Hi,One of our student made an assembly of our robot. We are trying to edit it on a laptop and we cannot do it. When we right click on the parts, we do not see the full menu of items, just the info list. How can we edit the assembly on another computer?Thanks for your help.

Dear First Windchill / Creo Parametric experienced user community,I have added several FTC members to Windchill using the roles of "CAD Author"/"Team Members" as part of an FTC project. These users cannot access the workspace files using their logins unfortunately. I can access the files; however my role is one of project manager. Any ideas or suggestions?-Emil

Suppose a sketch contains 4 datum points. I know how to rename the sketch, but I want to rename the individual datum points as well. See attachment as well. In the old WF3 (never used WF4), there was a menu under Feature Operations to rename individual entities. We used mostly to rename datum planes in a Copy Geom. Mark and PTC Academic Support,I was installing the configuration files for Creo 2.0 M070 and noticed the cmd exe had the wrong path defined for looking for *.ui file. The file is not located in the \text folder, rather it's located in the C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 2.0\Common Files\M070\creo_standards\config_files_schools folder. See attached images. Need to fix the configure_for_schools.exe Jon

Need to import Framemaker files into arbortext. Would like to know which approach will be suitable. Data received is .fm and .book files of Framemaker.
