I would like some resources for getting started with CoCreate Modeling PE besides the PTC.com pages. I am a university student working on a formula-style racing car, and would like to use CoCreate for designing parts when I do not have access to the commonly used SolidWorks on campus.   Any help would be much appreciated. Hello, I have a program I'm trying save a system states (a matrix with constituent masses for a chemical reaction) in a time-sequenced vector. I can access a single value in the nested state matrix, but I'm wondering if there's a way to edit the value without having to overwrite the nested matrix. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I've uploaded a sample sheet that should give an idea of the error I'm running into (I'm trying to edit the 4th row cell in the nested matrix). Thanks, Matt

As Mathcad seems to offer no possibilities for solving differential equations symbolically other than using the Laplace transform I tried to write my own function.I succeded, but the independent variable was fixed to "x".My efforts to make that variable selectable failed completely.The main problem (as I see it now) seems to be the passing of a function as a paraneter of a self written function, but maybe I am missing a point.I tried to simplified the problem by writing a simple function which should yield the derivative of its argument function. I'd liked to call it Diff and I wanted the following results:Diff(sin(x),x) --> cos(x)Diff(sin(a),a) --> cos(a)butDiff(sin(a),b) --> 0I found no way of achieving this. I have created a Mathcad 14 worksheet which reads and processes a large binary data file - specifically, a tile of NASA SRTM terrain elevation data. The worksheet works fine using the generally available 3 arc-second resolution files, which are 2.8 MB each, with over 1,000,000 records in each file. (Each file is a vector containing one integer entry for the elevation data of each point on a 1,201 x 1,201 grid, for 1,442,401 integers in total.)I would like to use the same worksheet to process some 1 arc-second data files, which have approximately 9 times the number of records (3,601 x 3,601 = 12,9607,201 grid points), and 9 times the file size (approx. 25 MB each).When I try to point the "Data Import Wizard" at one of the larger files, it first seems to work fine, but then it loses the data from the imported data file, and the worksheet stops working, as it has no data vector in the main data array. (The array shows only a single entry with a zero value, instead of the expected vector o

1) Can someone tells me how can we read "sheet2" or higher of an excel file directly from mathcad.For example, I can read an excel file with a commad like READFILE("c:\myfile.xls","excel") but I am getting the sheet1 only.What should I do to be able to read sheet2 or higher from myfile.xls2) Yesterday I put a question and I received a correct answer. Hi!I am trying to install student edition of proEng. I started with the "install from web"-option, but installation stopped at 2%.I then tried downloading Creo 5 on DVD, but the link is broken.I then tried the two zip-files, but after the license-generating step, the installation hits an error and dies.None of the options works. Hi all, is it possible to have an analysis volume display it's result in the model tree. Let me elaborate, i have created an analysis feature, a volume check, now, when i look to the model tree i see the newly created feature, but it has a name ANALYSIS_VOLUME_1. I have to edit definition to actually view the result each time in the future. I want to change the font size of axis labels. But when i select the label the text formatting box is greyed out.

I have a helical curve and I want to create a spiral staircase along that helical curve. The main idea is to get the spiral staircase, my thoughts were to use a helical curve and to use a pattern of some sort but I'm not quite sure how to do it. Hi folks,I have an Excel file consisting of 26 work sheets full of data. With the READEXCEL command I'd like to read them in, however:READEXCEL doesn't read all the work sheets, but from 0 through 8However, backwards I'm able to read from 26 through 10I have checked whether there are some format problems on the sheet 9 or 10 but to no avail. This really puzzles me. I know how to create a standard through axis helical sweep but what I'm trying to do now is create a helical sweep with the section being a circle. The problem I'm having and can't figure out is I don't want to sketch the section on the vertical XY plane, I want to sketch the section on the horizontal or flat XZ plane so that the circle is normal to the axis of revolution not parallel.
