Is there a way to adjust the worksheet scrolling speed in MathCAD 14? I find that scrolling down a large document with the mouse wheel can be cumbersome and clicking the scroll bar moves a little too quickly.

Hi,until now I thought WF4 was not compatible with Pro/Intralink3.4. But recently, I was said it is. Do you know if this is true, and which version (datacode) of WF4, and Intralink3.4 are needed ?

I am trying to do some analysis for a roll formed piece of steel which I created with a var/section sweep. When I try to get mass properties or a volume analysis I simply get 0000s for all outputs. I have entered a density in for the mass properties. I made a solid block just to test and i did get values for volume and mass properties. Hello Folks,When I am drawing geometry in sketcher, I've noticed that after I've created a "hard" dimension for a feature, I can still drag it larger or smaller, altering the "hard" dimension. How do i use actual dates like Jan 25th, February 25th in the x-axis

I want to the x-axis to show radians like 0,Pi/4, Pi/2, 3Pi/4 pi etc or degrees like 0,45,90,135,180 degrees.Right now it shows the decimal equivalent of radians

Hi fellow MCers,is there an automated way to "unnest" an array?I have a huge amount of excel files from which I read in some data. These are all displayed in a nested array (see attached image). Hello,When I draw a pair of circles in a sketch and try to connect them with a line, and use "Impose sketch constraints on the section," then choose "Make two entitities tangent" and select a circle and the line, the line becomes tangent to the first circle. However, when I go to repeat this on the second circle, a "resolve sketch" dialog box pops up listing 2 conflicting constraints:1) Point on entity (line to first circle)2) Point on entity (line to second circle)I don't see why I cannot make the line tangent to the second circle?Thanks,Mike

The browswers (IE & Firefox) do not display things properly. Example: Select Organization\Administration tab and the full list of users that are org admins does not show. It will show if I clear that group from Windchill cache (for a day or less), but how do I get it to show the proper data all the time? Another example: Log in as "user A", then log out. Log in as "user B". Click HOME tab and "User A" name will appear in the profile area (User B's name will appear above that). It's like the cache doesn't get cleared or info gets 'stuck' on a screen. Has anybody else experienced this? Any advice/suggestions? This happens on other people's machines too. We are on 9.0 M030, Internet Explorer 6.0 SP3, Firefox 3.6.3...

Hi, everyonei m a greenhand on mathcad, and I want to solve some of my old problems using mathcad, which have been solved by matlab and maple .yesterday I encountered a chemical kinetics problem, which I can easily handle through matlab nonlinear toolbox. I reviewed some similar threads in our forum, and cannot apply the method (Minerr, Minimize,etc) into my worksheet.Maybe I need some help (see the attached mathcad14 or 11 file where I describe my question)

HiFirst of all I am not a mathmatican, so please be gentle with any explanation. I have poured over the manuals and examples but they either get to the numerical answer too soon or don't seem to cover the way I would like to approach the problem!I want to use Mathcad to provide me with a way of making the graphing and solving of networks of electrical impedances very much easier than on paper.So far I have used 'solve' blocks to find n unknown currents from n simultaneous equations, either as numbers or as functions of a variable. Great!However use of the symbolic answer involves cutting and pasting it to use in in further expressions, this is not very 'smooth' and of course stops Mathcad being 'live', so:Q1 = Is there a way of taking the output from a 'solve block' and using it in further calculations, ie Find(i1,i2,i3)-> gives a nice matrix but in the next line I want to use i1, in another formula, say, Rin = Vin/i1 -> This doesn't seem to work, should it, and I am doing somet

Hey guys,I was trying to use the symbolic operator to manipulate an equation and I came across a few questions.1.) Can the symbolic operator give a result using the constants I defined above instead of plugging the numbers in (see sheet)?2.) I have the sheet and result set to 3 decimal places but MathCAD is displaying much more, is there a reason why? I'd like to set it to display 5 or so.Thanks.

I'm one of the co-founders of FIRST@MIchigan Engineering Zone - a collaborative facility where 12 Detroit Public high school FRC teams built and tested their robots last year. This season we intend to have FIRST@MEZ teams use ProEngineer to design their robots. I'm looking for tips and advice on how to best use PTC and other materials to train our teams in the use of ProEngineer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.PS- I'd be happy to share info about the MEZ - what it is, how it was established, accomplishments, etc.

I am trying to create a simple 2D plot which shows the distance to pre-defined coordinates from origin. I can successfully plot the required data but have to manually input each vector element of Y & X for the lines indicating the distance from origin.Can anyone suggest changing the method of plotting so this is done automatically?The symbols in the graph update when additional elements are added to the input vectors, but the lines indicating the distance from the origin have to be manually inputted.CheersMike

We currently run 32 bit wildfire 3 on 32 bit xp pro with floating licences. We are looking at upgrading a few workstations / labtops to 64 bit xp pro. We have 64 bit wildfire 3, but haven't installed it anywhere yet. Are there any differences in the licences? Can 1 client use 64 bit pro when everyone else and the server are on 32? This may be a little difficult to explain but I have two arms that I want to connect with a ball joint. The movement will be up and down, and also swivel 360 degrees. In the first arm I have a spherical cutout where I want to attach the ball, it will be inside that cutout that the ball will move and swivel. How do I or can I constrain a ball inside that cutout to get that sort of movement? I know there is a ball constrain, but I'm not sure how to use it. attached is a picture of the cutout where the ball will be inserted. Thanks
