I'm not sure why I'm not able to assign units to column "0" of an externally read data file without getting the error that "the value must be scalar or a matrix" ..? The other columns (1 thru 3 in my example) seem to accept the units definitions. Perhaps I just going about this all wrong, what am I missing, please?Thanks,Jay

Hi everybody,I am trying to find a way (maybe a mapkey) to clear mapkeys loaded in my session from the general config.pro file of my company (shouldnt contain any mapkeys but that is another discussion...). recording a mapkey while deleting the mapkeys from the mapkey definintion window just doesnt work. If I have a vector V, how do I repeat values/elements into another vector to create a vector with more elements? For example; I have a vector V=[0,5,3,...n] and I want to repeat each element of this vector twice (k=2) to create a vector Z=[0,0,5,5,3,3,...n,n].

Does Mathcad recognize dates like 12/12/2010. Is there a special format for dates or i just use year:=2010 month:=12 day:=12.And i say that add 34 days to that date above whats the new date?Or for 12/12/2010 how many number of days has passed since start of the year. Answer is 346.

Hello,I make an calculation of an antenna circuit. For this I have to use the step function. When I want tomake the inverselaplace function to my equation, it will not be work.I think this will not be work, because I think that matcad will calculate values from t<0. But I want toanalyse only values which are t >= 0.Can I give mathcad the information, that it calculate only with values t>0Please look to the matcad file, where I have made also a lot of comments on page 4.The pages before is normally not relevant for you.Thanks a lotRegardsRoger

Just a general question for the more knowledgable Pro-E users out there (Think I'm in the right forum, what the heck did they DO to the handy old forums?!):Is there any way, when you're creating defining dimensions from the references your sketch is drawn to, to create multiple dimensions at a time? Say I have six lines parallel to the y-axis, but spaced different distances away from it; can I somehow pick the axis, then pick the dimensions as I would by holding CTRL and create them all at once? Or do I actually have to click the axis, then the line each and every time? Alternately, and even better, is there a way I can make pro-E create it's soft dimensions to reference the references I set for the sketch, instead of arbitrary connections to other random lines in the sketch itself? That way I could just change each soft dimension to what I need and lock it.EDIT: Probably should have mentioned, I'm a bit behind the times and using Wildfire 3. As an example, plotting the 3D surface Z(x,y):=2/(x^2-y^2). What's the method for restricting the domain to {(x,y)| x =/= y}? Can I plot this without converting from rectangular?I'm trying to take advatage of Mathcad capabilities, but I can't track this one down.

I have a really long equation and it doesn't fit in one page width. How do i make it multiline, so it continues on the next line?

I got some homework to do and cant figure out how to solve an equation.I have an idea but I'm not sure if I can do it the way I want.As you can see in the document my problem is that the formula I use has f(t)dt in the integer but the equation I have to solve uses tau in in the integer but it wants me to take the integer from 0 to t.I don't feel like i explained the problem very well but it should be easier to understand if you read through the document.There might be other errors in the document but I have been wrestling with that part of the problem for what feels like hours now so I just finished it and threw it up here for you to have a look at.Anton

I wanted to display the x-axis ie eV's, but I failed ... help.

I am a new user of CoCreate 3.0. I am attempting to turn a profile, but can't find the proper icons. To set the stage, I have started a new document, and drawn a simple rectangle on the existing plane.To turn a profile, the help file says to;1. Click Modify 3D [OK I can find this]2. In the Machine task panel list, select Classic Machine. [This is where I get stuck, and I cannot find such a task panel.]I have attached a screen shot of this point in the process. I need to recall the unique numbers for an array or vector to remove repeat/dupliate values. This can be easily done using the Excel's unique function. Is there a function in Mathcad or a simple program line to accomplish this?SLS

I have been trying to make that can determin wich variable that has the greatest value.I found a simple way of doing it with the if command if I only have 2 or 3 variables. but if i get to 4 or more it gets a bit more complicated.I have thought of using the "While" command but when ever i use it Mathcad freezes. I have been searching the forum for a solution to my problem and I havent found one i could use.What im looking for is a simple way to draw a vector in a graph. Somthing like a=x,y and I would like the results to look somthing like this. I know i can use other programs than mathcad to get the desired results but a simple way in mathcad to get the desired results would be best.

My laptop crashed. I need to transfer my Mathcad 14 license to my new computer. Does anyone know how this is done?
