Version: Windchill Below 11.0 Use Case: I want to open visualization of parts and assemblies on Creo View directily by Windchill. Our Client uses Creo 8 so that's what we use. I have just installed Creo 8 with everything in it (Creo View Express 9.1 included).Description: When trying to open a Creo View visualization by Windchill either by clicking on thumbnail (the thumbnail works just fine, zooms and rotates) or by Open in Creo View option,, this happens: - On Windchill integrated in CREO: it just pops a IE error webpage that says its not possible to open this webpage, "Some content or files on the webpage require a program that is not installed". (windows_browser_type is now ie_browser, but was chromium_browser before and nothing happened) - Windchill on Chrome it pops up a error message that says "Get an app to open this Creoview link." - Windchill on Edge nothing happens. Creo View Express 9.1 opens normally when opened standalone.What should I do? I have two environments: Dev and Test (Both have Thingworx Version: 9.5)I have uploaded the solution on Solution Central from Dev Environment which contains the Active Directory.Now I have deployed the same solution on the Test Environment using Solution Central but I am not able to Enable the Active Directory.Does anyone have any idea how to enable my active directory on Test environment? Regards,Shashank

Hi to everyone!I'm a newbie here and need help finding the idea for the solution to my issue—a brief explanation of the problem.Mathcad Prime 9.0.0 is used for the modelling.There is a FOR loop for which data is calculated, and there are conditions for selecting the coefficient. If the condition is TRUE, I want the program to choose the k1  and f values to be represented in the augmented matrix in the output.But, as I can guess, the problem that prevents my loop from performing as it should in the type of input variable - each i-th value of the input variable u-value has to be checked for a condition—if it is TRUE, it goes to the list of output values; if FALSE, it returns an empty matrix.Mathcad doesn't seem to recognise the particular u-value; it simultaneously recognises all the set of u-values [matrix]. Thus, I probably have the error message "this value must be a scalar."PS The attached file could clarify my issue. I would appreciate any information and help you can give

Hy, I'm currently adding several OMRON PLC's (CS1G-H), all of the same type and equipped with the same Ethernet card (EIP21). One of the PLC's is working fine, but the other two are not collecting data. The only noticeable difference is the unit number for the Ethernet card. The working PLC has the default unit number set to 0, while the others are set to 2 and 3. Do I need to adjust this in the FINS protocol settings to resolve the issue?

I am trying to perform curve fitting using mathcad 13 to determine the best coefficients, "alpha" and "beta," that can approximate the equation of the three-parameter model (red line) to the creep equation according to Eurocode 2 (blue line).  I cannot change the expression of the parameters in the three-parameter model equation. At this point, I have already tried using functions like "genfit."        However, the parameters I am finding are less accurate than those obtained using the trial-and-error method.I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions you can provide.

Hello,When I create a new document type in Windchill's Type and Attribute screen, there are default attributes that appear in the Create Layout screen. How can I remove these attributes from the layout screen?

Blast from the past has kicked me in the "ast".   Glad I am reading 12.1.2 What's new. So, I've had my system running since Windchill 7. At that time view versions used a multi-level version schema (A.A, A.B, etc). While I've known about the new default for single level and this utility for sometime, it was never on my near term to-do list to convert. I am now jumping to version 13.0.2 so am I hosed? Creo 7 Does anyone know how to edit the # of significant figures for a rotation direction dimension used in a table pattern? I created an axis pattern and then converted it to a table pattern to vary some dims including the clocking angle use to place pattern members. The ROT_DIR_1 dimension is a known dimension (angle) defined in the sketch of the pattern leader feature. Once this pattern is converted to table driven, I am not able to select that dimension to alter the number of decimal places.   I am able to use the find tool to locate this dimension but when selected no actions are available to edit/change it in any way.          

Hi Community, I am using PartsLink on Windchill 12.0.2.0. I want to reorganize some sheets of the PartsLink classification tree. when i copy a leaf and want to place it in the new branch, nothing happens. Not when I select copy with attributes nor when I select copy without attributes.The branch to be copied is not assigned to any part.If I create a new sheet and copy it to a test branch, it works.Does anyone know which attribute, setting or similar prevents copying?Or is there any other way to move leafs within the structure? many thanks upfrontBR Simon

Hi Everyone,   I have a Grid widget which displays data based on selected dropdown, also a data filter widget through which I am filtering grid data so now my requirement is I want to display distinct count of each column in Bar chart widget and  once the data is changed it through data filter widget (for the same dropdown)   bar chart data should also change like whatever data present in grid that data's distinct count should available in bar chart at runtime.   like in runtime if data change according to the filter (Through data filter widget) that should also change the bar chart count that's it. can we achieve this functionality in Thing Worx 9.3.1 version.   if yes pls guide    I am able to get distinct count in bar chart but next is how it should change while filtering which is in runtime actually, I am not sure    Thanks, Lav
