Hi, I am new to creo so this question might be dumb, but i can't figure it out how to cut a pipe when it intersects other pipe(i attached a photo).  As you can see in the picture i have a horizontal pipe that i want to cut at the face of the vertical pipe. I tried to use component operations (I have CREO 3) but when i am using this command it cuts just the intersection(see pic 2).Could you help me to do this cut?Thanks!       

I’m currently working on a worksheet in Mathcad Prime 9.0 where I’m evaluating several functions that generate around 100 rows of values each. I have three different functions, and I need to send these values into an Excel file so that they are neatly aligned across columns. Specifically:I’d like the results from the first function, f(a), to begin at cell A1 in Excel.The results from the second function, f(b)  should start at cell B1Similarly, the results from the third function, f(c), should start at cell C1.I’m trying to figure out how I can use the "Write Excel" function in Mathcad to send these values across the respective columns in the same sheet.Due to the nature of the data, I’m unable to share my worksheet directly, but I would greatly appreciate a sample example or any guidance that can help me achieve thisCheers,Frank

Hi there , I want to remove NaN from a nested matrix so I can find the average . Creo8. I need to convert an outside file to an editable part. I am able to import it as a STEP, STL, or OBJ which doesn't appear to make any difference to Creo.   The part in question comes in with tesselated surfaces, I think because the original file was made in Blender, and Blender outputs it's models with them. I then Shrinkwrap the imported part to a new file with the ignore quilts toggled off and "10" selected as level of "precision". The result is a usable editable part, but because Shrinkwrap does its own tessellation, not as tight a part as I would like - tessellated fillets not in the original file etc. Is it possible to shrinkwrap or otherwise convert an imported tessellated object to an editable part using the tessallations which are already in the part without adding any others?  If this isn't possible, is there a precision setting higher than 10? If what I'm asking is not possible, my solution will be to edit the imported file in On

Since it is no longer possible to install MATHCAD 15 on  my new PC, even though I have a perpetual license, I am looking for a software that is up to its standard. I was offered MAPLE FOLW...What do you think?

Few Suggestions1. Custom page size not available. This is important because for display of the final output for custom size cell device or iPad etc a teacher need that.2. Certain drawing elements are not available like arrows, rectangle, circles, line, dotted line, etc which are necessary for final formatting of the document. These elements are needed to highlight the certain area which is more important.3. Two files cannot be displayed separately, like I am working on file and looking at some other file at 2nd extended display.4. Certain fonts are not available, although installed in the computer like Aptos.5. Step by Step approach is not available, I am sure if this is provided in the software this will greatly enhance the market growth especially the university students and teachers.6. Math cannot be inserted in text box. How would I read a parameter that is located in the part from the drawing?I have a drawing open and active and with JLink I want to read a certain parameter that resides in the Part not the drawing.I can open the part and get, but I would rather do it from the drawing so I don't need to open part. No errors that I know of but the server was rebooted around 7pm last night and the Ignition HMI server could not get any data until I logged into the KEPServerEX server and opened the KEPServerEX Configuration client. I did nothing else, This has happened before. How do we make sure that the OPC UA connection survives a reboot?

Thingworx version: 9.3 +Hello developers, i need help with a trouble:I have 12 equipments (PLC), for all of those have the same tags, and my doubt is, if is a good practice to segregate the tags between 12 things that are similar, but using tags that are bound to their respective PLCs. E.g.: Thing1 with tags T1_Temperature, T1_ContentWeight; Tthing2 with tags T2_Temperature, T2_ContentWeight and so on.Some considerations: all of those are on PTC Kepware Server using only one Industrial Connection.Questions to answer: 1: Is this a good practice? I haven't found anything about it in Docs and CS.2: Do this offers more performance than having only one Thing for all those PLC tags?3: Do we have some performance difference or network charge on some of these approaches?

Hi, in CREO ADVANCED PLUS 9 I have to mirror THE 4c28fw08500.asm wrt the green SYM_TRASV plane.If I check the "Reuse selected model" I obtain the wrong position in the picture below:  Instead, I want to obtain the correct position that I have when I check the "Create a nex model", but I don't want to create a new code model. How can I fix this problem? Thank you.

Dear all,  i would know how to edit a sketch quote relation from the program file of a part.  I am creating relations on the fly, so to speak, and I cannot access them at a later time in order to modify them. I began by making the parameter, NTHICK, equal 1.5. For many extrusions I have entered NTHICK as the dimension value and Creo/Pro will ask me if I would like to establish a relation for the dimension. I click yes and a relation is created. I can verify this by double clicking the dimension and then I'm told that it cannot be modify becuase it is controled by the relation d256 = NTHICK; this is good, its what I want. The problem is that I cannot access the relation to change it. Going to Tools>Realtions doesn't work--the realtion is not there. Community, Is it possible to apply an aerodynamic pressure load to a cylinder in Creo Simulate 10.0.  The load needs to be applied to one half of the cylinder and in the same direction, not normal to the surface.  Trying to achieve the pressure direction in the attached image that shows "Need this", except arrows pointing down from the top or outside of the curved surface.  Thanks in advanced.
