MathCAD Prime 7.0 is where my company is still stuck at, but it still has the very frustrating limitation/bug of not accepting decimal numbers without putting a leading zero before the decimal. It allows you to do this when calculating a number, but not when using units. Has this been fixed in subsequent versions?  It is frustrating not only from the standpoint that I never put leading zeros before a decimal, and never have, never do on any other program/software, and it's not a problem at any other time on any other software package I use (including MathCAD Prime 7.0) UNTIL I try to use units in the calculation. I have hundreds of worksheets where I have not used leading zeros and it used to calculate everything just fine, even with the use of units.

I'm using MathCAD Prime 10.0.1.0 and having difficulty having a function complete a different formula depending on if a previous variable is either "Yes", "No" or "Blank".  The loop is meant to repeatedly calculate "b" and then determine if "b" is either a "yes" or "no", I added a blank option to allow the calculation to be skipped in a larger document if that section is left blank. However, it is just always registering the "b" variable as "blank".The answers need to be provided in a matrices format.  

I need to open my Mathcad 15 files. I can't do it with Mathcad Express. Is there a way to work with existing Masthcad 15 documents.

Hi Team, I am showing both bar chart mashup and line chart mashup in same container showing same data as below: As you can see Bar chart showing all bars with xaxis labels. Line chart only showing xaxis labels but lines are getting cut. Both labels and lines are part of charts. Any idea why this is happening 

By a clone part I mean a fully dependant copy of a part that can be used in separate assemblies but if the original part is modified, the clone part can be updated automatically, And if it is possible, can be assigned a different material to the clone?

As per the title, how do you update string iba values without iterating. I know this is possible but cant seem to find the code to do so at the moment. 

Hi there, I want to display a "released by" information on my drawing.I created an alias attribute with this mapping:  roleBObject@wt.maturity.PromotionTarget~roleAObject^wt.maturity.PromotionNotice~primaryBusinessObject@wt.workflow.work.WorkItem~theWorkItemReference@wt.workflow.engine.WfVotingEventAudit~userRef^wt.org.WTPrincipal~name=name@wt.org.WTUser~fullName The attribute works great so far and lists all User's Full Names, which were involved in the process. The attribute should be shown as parameter "released_by_alias".But in Creo no such parameter is listed. What am I missing? 

Hi  I want to plot numbers from a table along with a function. But - if I select for example Row 2 and Class C, I want NaN to appear, i.e no value at all in the plot. Is it possible to incorporate NaN in a table? Or is NaN not applicable in this case? How can I solve this?   Worksheet attached (prime 7). Thanks in advance!         

The latest version of Mathcad is 10 but my company uses version 8. So will it be possible for me to download the 8th version of mathcad.

How can I add the problem report type found in the Windchill Action > New > New Problem Report menu as a shortcut to the Windchill library main screen?

Hello All, As legend take much space in chart, actual chart gets shrink and sometime value are getting cropped in case of bar chart(stacked).In case of pie chart, value not visible on 100% zoom of page and it is visible when zoom is 75%.Also, there is no option to show values and percentage for pie together, only one can be shown at a time. Note: Chart space is limited, on page there are 6 charts.

I’m working on a project where I need to access the GetCurrentUser from a remote DataTable. However, I’m facing an issue where the returned values keep changing after each execution. Specifically:When the logged-in user is Gail, the DataTable shows both Gail and IOCL.When the logged-in user is IOCL, it shows both IOCL and Gail.I’ve attached the files for reference, but I would appreciate your help in identifying what might be causing this issue. Could you guide me on what I might be doing wrong?

Hello, We have configured Navigate using Windchill-based authentication. However, the customer is now changing the ThingWorx and Windchill server URLs. Other than below pointers, anything else need to take care? Add the new ThingWorx URL to the allowlist on the Windchill side.Update the Windchill URL in all integration connectors and configurations. Thank you in Advance. -Abhiram  

working on a table with a long list of items. need to query the table to see if an item is listed without erroring out every time.   how can I check to see if "Black" is on the list and return a "N/A" or something I can use? Any help will be appreciated.  Ed.

Hi,I am using Thingworx 9.3.0 and trying to configure the Grid widget with a JSON. Currently I am having some troubles with small details. Unfortunately the documentation for this JSON is erroneous (missing closing brackets and wrong quotation marks) and also not complete. I also downladed the Grid Advanced sample files which helped a bit. But there are still a few issues: How can I enable sorting for specific columns? I can do this in the mashup configuration for the Grid widget. But via config I was only able to enable sorting for all columns through { "columns": { "enableSorting": true }}There is an "sortColumn" property that can be set for each column. But this does not do anything.How to center align the header content? I have set "headerTextAlignment": "center" and"textAlignment": "center" for each column in the "columnDefs" but the header-text and content itself is still aligned left.How can I properly set the max height of the header? The option "MaxHeaderSize":

Hi,i didn't work a lot on mashups but i was thinking of something, lets say i have energy meter that sends me readings that i use to calculate the hourly consumption and then i log it, then i put it in an infotable that has 24 rows representing the past 24 hours, and when i add new reading i delete the oldest one in the infotable so that the table will always be 24 row, then this infotable should be connected to some line chart or bar chart in a mashup to show the 24 values, all of this is fine, if i created a previous and next buttons on the chart so that the user can see the 24 values before the current 24 values, i was thinking maybe create another infotable when the user click the previous data button a query to be run to get the data from the database and put it in this new infotable and then the chart will switch to read from this new infotable, the reason for another infotable is that if i used the same infotable and the user requested the previous data while there is a new read

Is there no way to have a master material, say, Al6061 applied to multiple parts?If I update the master material all the parts that were already made with this material do not get updated. So now to enforce the master material I need to manually select and re-assign the same material......Surely there's a way of making the Library a reference for said part(s)?

I get this message when i try to configurate my floating license "Failed to configure license for PTC Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0: '.', hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character. Line 6, position 1" and i dont know what to do? It does not matter what i type, i just comes with that message 

I’m having trouble testing the Kepware server with Python and OPC UA because there’s no way to set an admin password. This makes it tricky to test authentication properly and get my scripts to work the way they’re supposed to.What I Need:It would be super helpful if there was an option to set an admin password so I can:Test Python scripts using the OPC UA library with proper authentication.Simulate secure setups for OPC UA workflows.Make sure everything works like it would in a real-world environment.Why It’s a Problem:Without an admin password, I can’t properly test authentication, which makes it hard to validate my scripts or simulate real-world scenarios. It’s holding me back from getting everything running smoothly. Anyone have a suggestion? I just need to gather synthetic real time data to push to 3d models in USD 😃

Hello, I am trying to adjust the grid column width to fit the maximum text/Icons size it contains. I want to remove the extra space from the column, as shown red box in the image below.  Currently, I have set column width to 'Auto' but it is not working. Is there any way to do this? Thanks, Suraj 

I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and Datecode is unknownWe have been receiving a "Disk Full" error when saving to a network location (that is most definitely not full). My users say it has been happening "for years," but this is the first I've heard of this. This happens regardless of the file or network location, and does not happen when saved locally to the computer. Happens with or without auto-save being enabled.When it happens, our users have to save locally and then move the file to the server. Is there a port or something on our firewalls that needs to be opened to allow MathCAD to save to network locations without an error? It doesn't happen every single save, but it is is frequent enough to where my users are choosing to save the file locally instead, which is an issue we'd like to stamp out immediately.Here are the errors that I faced:Disk full while accessing "insert network file path"

Hello everyone,I am a new mathcad user. I used to use python but we switched to mathcad prime 9 recently. I'm having a lot of trouble carrying out simple tasks with mathcad. It's certainly my beginner level on the software that explains this. I'm calling on your expertise to help me on a few points. Sorry if for you it's trivial but for me on mathcad it's really complicated at the moment. Here's my problem: I want to retrieve data from a calculation. I've written several fairly complex functions and I want to vary some of the parameters of these functions and retrieve the values. I then want to use Excel to plot the curves of these functions. I want to compare the curves for a given parameter, so as to visualize the impact of a parameter on the function.Mathcad Prime 9.0
