Hello  I want to save the Jconsole's log because windchill stopped sometimes. Our PLM Enginner says 'this problem is about to Heap Memory size. Out of memory' So, I want to monitor heap memory usage with Jconsole. But I can't find the Jconsole's Log Auto Save function. How to Auto Save the Heap Memory Usage log?

When creating a counterbore style pin hole with IFX, the software defaults the 'thru' diameter (labelled 'counterbore diameter' in the UI) to 1/2 of the nominal pin diameter.  Our manufacturing standard requires a different diameter - is there a hole chart column that can be used to drive this dimension to a specific value so that the user doesn't have to manually change it every time?We have tested with the known hole chart columns and none seem to work.We are currently running Creo Parametric 10.0.5.0.

Hello Community,  I have file repository which is running with network link. I have uploader widget and i upload the 10 pictures each pic is ok 100kb but uploader only upload randomly 3 4 pics in one go and other would not get upload and failed. When i upload the pictures on development server it works completely fine and upto 10 pictures can upload in one go with selection of upload widget. Do you guys think that is there any solution which can help me here? I want to just upload the pictures and for that my service creates path first for the folder creation in repository and then pictures get uploaded there with the upload widget on mashup.  Any solutions are welcome here.  @Rocko if you would like to share your insights, it would be great! Thank you!

I am having trouble understanding why I can't get a solution using the defined variables but am able to get one when I put in a value for the variable.  My issue arises because the values X, Y and Z depend on Twall.  I want to be able to loop this with an update to Twall at each dt.  Any help would be appreciated. mathcad prime9 .    

Is it possible to resuse process steps in work instructions ? Like there are standard steps (ex: Clean the station, etc) which occurs in almost all work instructions. Can we create a standard library for such operations ?

Hello! I am in the middle of the Solid Modeling 2 course and the second exercise asks for a blend of three composite curves. My start points aren't aligning, and the guide recommends that they do but doesn't specify how to do that. I tried going into the sketch to manually select the start point, but since it's a referenced curve that doesn't appear to work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hello.We've recently switched from Creo4 to Creo9, and in Creo9 I'm facing a challenge I never had in 4:In part and assembly design, when I hover over geometry, some of the surfaces appear to be highlighted in "broken" or xxx-patterned highlight, like below: while other are fully shaded, as if masked with transparent layer : for both, selection "repaints" them just fine with selection color. Went trough all reasonable config options I could think of, all regarding highlight, transparency, selection, with no visible changes. I'm looking for a method to achieve consistency in the highlight, preferably with all being the second option, without xxx pattern.Thanks 🙂   

Hi Experts,I'm a beginner with Kepware and i've now encountered an issue i would really appreciate some help with solving: In my Siemens PLC i got an REAL variable that has the value "25.999".When i added the tag to Kepware (Float) and launched quick client the value is now shown as 1.10415E+09.How do i get Kepware to show the actual/same value as i can see in the PLC? Thanks in advance!

This is related to logging into Thingworx via Windchill, AD and case sensitive username. Just curious is anyone has tried it? I will give it a whirl but curious if anyone has a work around to this problem.   Side effect to switching to SSO, some of our users have their username with mixed case. All usernames in Windchill and Thingworx were created with lowercase user ids. Since the user no longer provides these values at login, it is pulling the value from AD directly which does not align with Thingworx Navigate account. Aside from touching all the accounts in AD to make them lowercase, I am in search of an alternate solution.

In adv-grid, I have enabled 'EnableEditButtons' and 'IsEditable' in advanced grid widget and In 'Configure Grid Columns' 'IsEditable' is selected for few columns. Then, In UI, If user selecting ADD button to add rows in grid, there are any possible ways to edit the cell only for newly adding rows ?

Hi there... I have a logo designed which I need to extrude onto the surface of a part.  I have copied the font into the Creo 11.0.0.0\Common Files\text\fonts folder, and the font shows up in the Font list Sketching > Text dialogue box.  I can write out the logo onto the surface, but it doesn't seem extrude. I cannot spot any node gaps either. The font is a really common Windows font: Berlin Sans FB.  Is anyone able to see if you can extrude any words using this font?  Unfortunately, this site doesn't allow me to attach a copy of the font but it should be in your Windows folder if you use. I'm really puzzled

I recently upgraded to Creo 9.0.1.0, and was working on a drawing when I started using the new Surface Finish workflow.  I've asked a few other users around the office and no one can seem to figure out where the "placement" options went that allows you to to decide whether you want a leader, normal to entity, on entity, or free placement of surface finish.  Does anyone know the answer to this? Screenshots below of what I'm talking about.  Creo 8 and before Surface finish Creo 9 surface finish options.  Can't find the placement options anywhere. My company doesn't normally use leaders for surface finish. We put them on the dimension lines or on the edges themselves. Thanks, Doug
