Hello everyone,I hope you are doing fine!I recently calculated concrete bending stiffness using Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0.However, when I was writing an equation, I got the message "These units are not compatible" in the Composite Bending Moment Equation.Can someone please help?I attached the full calculation below.Thank you in advance!

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: my use case is ann app that connect to specific ws and export the Solidworks asm from ws to specific folder ( pure file system )Description: i have build a tk app that connect to specific server & ws and add to ws specific asm - in order to export it to file system folder.everything works smoothly beside the fact that the authentication window is opened, with the correct user name & password, and wait for approval...once i press the o.k button the app continue to work as expected and complete the entire process.how can i overcome this issue so the authentication will be completed automatically without human interaction ?

Hello, I received a message in German saying that the mass properties are outdated. In subsequent processes, I always receive a similar message.Can someone explain how to fix this?Is it possible that some configuration has changed and can no longer be used? I dont want just to hide the notification.The Startparts are created in Creo 10.0.3.0 and am still using it.I activated the mass_property_calculate and changed but its not solving the issue.  

Is there a way to preview a PDF file in a ThingWorx mashup without downloading it to the ThingWorx repository? The PDF file varies, and we need to display a specific page in the preview.Thank you in advance!

Hi, Mathcad Prime 10. So I have made this combo box to choose concrete value from a dropdown menu. I have defined all the value for a concrete class:I then choose to hide left side, so I only have the input. It works super great! The problem is, that since I have defined all the values from the tabel, I cant pick anything behind the equation. If I click here:Then I hit the drop down menu behind:This makes it very impractical. To make space on top or below will not look good, and be confusing for the user. Is there a way to work around this? The method is a upgrade from our old calculation where combo box was not a feature. Before we just had a matrice with callouts like this:I could go back to the old solution, but I just really wanted to impliment the new feature, because it is so much nicer to work with.  Hope someone can help. Mathcad Prime 9Is it possible to define the text for axis or traces annotation/labels as variables? If I define a variable X_axis_title with the value "Measurement" and try to copy-paste this variable into the title field of the X-axis, it will be handled as plain text "(@LABEL VARIABLE X_axis_title)". Goal is to show "Measurement" as annotation and have the possibility to change this in multiple diagrams at once.   

I have a service on a database entity, executing a simple select max() operation, when running in the entity, it works and returns a result (number) as shown in the screenshot. but when I call this service from another db entity as below:        lastTickTimeStamp = Things["Egress_KCT_FTAE"].Get_Last_TicksTimeStamp_Test(); it always return null as lastTickTimeStamp;However, the other serivce (query to return an infotable) on the Things["Egress_KCT_FTAE"] can work in the same location without problem.

After creating sheet metal parts on Creo 11.0.1, the wall thickness of sheet metal is set to read-only, so it can't be modified. I've already reported this bug to our distributor, but they said there is no solution right now, or return to old version. Is there any solution please share.

In these days, www.academia.edu shows me a lot of contents of electrical engineering. I am interested in one book, "Circuit Analysis I with MATLAB® Applications", Orchard Publications. The top cover page shows this circuit problem. It may be the best question of this book that Matlab can use to solve it. I try to solve this one by Mathcad Prime 10. I am standing Mathcad side. So, try and Challenge it!

Prime 10 I'm trying to use Mathcad's symbolic calculations, and it is not simplifying my expressions properly.   See below for an example: if I use the full equation, it does not simplify anything inside of the parentheses, but if I separate that section out and calculate it as its own entity, it simplifies everything correctly.  Why is it simplifying if I split it out, but not if I have everything together?What steps can I take to get Mathcad to fully simplify the full expression?Thank you

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.5is it possible to configure the creation of the promotion request in such a way that the user has to select an approver before "Finish"? Currently, the user can select "Finish" even though no approver is entered.

I want to view a model as a wire frame with hidden lines in Creo View Express, but with black lines rather than the kaleidoscope of colours the model is in when I open it in Creo View Express. I've tried following the instructions on this help page:https://support.ptc.com/help/creo/view/r9.0/en/index.html#page/creo_view/visualization/shared/To_Edit_Color.html#wwID0ECMGS I've selected everything in the model .A Model Parts tab appears on the ribbon, but there's no Color tool on the toolbar. The model I'm opening comes as an edz file.

  Mathcad Prime (MP) 10 starts to become unusably slow after switching between Mathcad and other applications (even Character Map or its own windows (eg, right-click context or worksheet list drop-down).    It usually manifests as unresponsiveness after switching back to Mathcad from another app.  Mathcad will freeze, unfreeze, and then freeze again before resuming normal service.  At the moment, though Mathcad is just cycling through freezes and won't let me do anything (including saving the active worksheet).   It seems to happen quicker when I have multiple worksheets open, even if those worksheets do not require saving or have any edit actions that might need undoing.   It happened in the initial MP 10 and in MP 10.0.1.0, but I've noticed it more in MP 10.0.1.0.     Stuart   Edited to add:  My Dell laptop doesn't appear to be overly strained during these freezes.  

Is it possible to call input from other mathcad sheet?Like in the first one we have the input and the second sheet has the equations. With out the need to repeat the data in the second sheetCombining/merging both of them without the need to repeat the data thanks in advanceYusra

I have downloaded the zip files, extracted them into my C: drive, attempted to run the "setup.exe" as an administrator, I have also tried running the "install_license_server_exe." as admin, and regardless of what I do I get a popup saying, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes?", I click yes, I get a little blue loading circle above my cursor for a few seconds, and then nothing happens. I have deleted/redownloaded the files directly from the website multiple times. I have tried disabling my firewall, antivirus, running it as administrator, ran the msconfig command and rebooted, updated my drivers and system. I do not know what to do and genuinely need some help. I am on a Lenovo intel i7 Thinkbook, 64 bit, Windows 11 Pro on a NVIDIA T600 Laptop gpu. Thank you in advance!

Hello everyone, I want to use the Codebeamer server (2.2.0.1) as an OSLC server, and I have trouble to do so. First I followed this Server Guide and added a new section to the Application Config:"apiThrottling" : {"urlPatterns" : "/api/oslc/**","bandwidthConfigs" : {"capacity" : 100,"timeUnit" : "SECOND"}}, I saved it, and it said "saved and re-applied" or something like that. Seems like it shall be ready.Then I try from my browser (which I login to codebeamer already) the following url:https://my_codebeamer:8080/cb/api/oslc/catalog/projectsAlso tried thishttps://my_codebeamer:8080/api/oslc/catalog/projectsBoth shows connection timed out. Do I need to setup port 8080 for oslc, or is it the default (fixed) port? I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.11.0I am trying to add a weight per piece column into our bill of material in the repeat region on our drawing format. I successfully added a column that pulls from our weight parameter in the part but when I add the summation to the repeat region for total weight it only adds the weight per piece once and is not taking into account the quantity of the part.I also would like to know if it is possible to put this summation into a different table in the drawing that is not part of the repeat region. I tried adding the summation string to another table in the drawing but it does not work like intended. I can type the parameter into the drawing manually and it adds it but not permanently in the format.Lastly would like to make it so that the balloons are always set to "QTY SPLIT" when making a new drawing instead of having to change it.

After entering "adler32_z" into the description of an item and saving it, I used the REST API to fetch the item's details with the following GET request: GET /api/v3/items/%item_id%/fields.Expectedly, I hoped to see "adler32_z" as the value of the Description field. However, the response returned "adler32~_z" instead. Here is the response I received: This issue appears to be specific to descriptions containing "adler32", as other descriptions seem to be fetched correctly.
