Hi dear creo support. i would like to ask You for help with creo instalation. I bought creo student version. Then download the instlation file. When go through instalation there is no option to chose which software i would like to install.  Can You please help me Thank YouDaniel

Dear community,  we try to use the GIT integration with ILM11.2 with oracle db repository as the integration documents describes this. We like to manage Linux files (source code) with this GIT integration in the configuration management domain of ILM.  Now there appears the following questions:  Where are the data of the GIT repositories stored? Are they also stored in oracle db with ILM server?   Is it possible to use the GIT integration with the ILM client or have we to use the CLI for GIT?   Is there an overview regarding the GIT integration? In an XML data module opened in Arbortext Editor, when scroll down to a graphic part, it triggers an error “Can not find or start IsoView Server. Error -1”. Does anyone know why? When I changed the view to Creo, the graphic shows up, but Arbortext Editor won’t recognize any hotspots from the graphic, thus I don’t want to use Creo View.

Hi We are trying to connect new PLCs to a kepware server. The PLCs are Omron CP1L and CJ2M models. We already had one CJ2M PLC connected to ignition and it is already working, but it's the only one working. Wen we try to connect them directly to Ignition it works and we can read tags. On ignition we are using the default values for the nodes. Why would it not work on kepware? Sometimes one of the test PLC we were adding to Kepware worked but it caused the already working CJ2M PLC to stop working. So it seems we can only connect one Omron PLC at all time on kepware. I saw a documentation that talked about multihoming on the host server, would that be worth a shot or is there something I'm missing? Note that all PLC are on a separate IP address and channel on Kepware. Also, Ignition and Kepware are running on the same server.

Hi all, I'm looking for best practices for including the end product assembly in a tooling assembly.  Tips on things like: Assembly mode:managing the tooling assembly combined with a (possibly) large end product assemblynot wanting the product assembly to affect the tooling BOM - simp reps? Include command?not wanting accidental changes to the product assembly while working on the tooling assembly - reference control?visual cues - product assembly distinguished from the tooling assembly Drawing mode:phantom lines for product assembly in certain views I'm the CAD admin, not a tool designer, but asking for a few of the designers in our group.  Any other considerations I might be missing? Thanks in advance!

Is there any way to view the Equivalent part outside the MAPSB.When we create new downstream branch, it is possible to see the Downstream views in the part history tab.But if we create new downstream part with new part number, then the only way to see downstream part would be to search using the Part number string and hope to identify the equivalent part through suffix or to open the BOM in MAPSB (Not an easy or elegant or effective way).Is there any solution like Alias attribute?Ideal solution would be to display the MAPSB Equivalent parts tab in the regular Part view through custom tabs section

Hello,After you added a normal assmbly 3D model as a "module variant" in a configurable module ;When you use "Variant builder" in a configurable product to select the normal assembly;Normally, Creo will use the exist assembly model to build the new main assembly model( product variant),But in some cases, the Creo always copy a new model to build the main assembly. Would any one know :How to control  "Variant builder" to copy a new one or use exist "module variant"  to build the new product variant? Thank you!

I have created a ploy of stress in  a curved bar.  Attempting to plot vertical axis to delineate positive and negative stress.  Will not plot together but have done this multiple tomes previously.  The vertical axis plots separately OK.  See page 11 at right Thanks for any help jmc
