I am attempting to install CB 2.1.0.2 on ubuntu  and have done (hopefully) all of the pre-requisite steps.  When I login as the "codebeamer" user and run the installer, I get the following error:  sh MED-61402-CD-330_2-1-0-2_Linux.bin Creating directory setup Verifying archive integrity... 100% MD5 checksums are OK. All good. Uncompressing codebeamer 100% Executing codebeamer setup... Please enter the Installation Directory (/home/codebeamer/CB-2.1.0.2): Installing codebeamer into directory: /home/codebeamer/CB-2.1.0.2 Cleaning up setup folder Incorrect installation directory.  Any guidance on this? -Matt

Running Creo 10. Tried to create a new Datum A. However, it says the label was duplicated and gave me the squiggly underline. I checked my tree, and there is no other Datum A anywhere in it.

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could give any advice on how to model a cam track from an old drawing. I have one idea so far; to draw the profile of the track on a plane and then project it on the outer face of the cam. Then cutting it with a sweep. Unsure if this will work for the whole track, definitely a misunderstanding on my part somewhere. If anyone has any tips, advice or just a better way to do it, I'm all ears.  This is what I have so far. I'm also not entirely sure what "LEAD A" is or how the angles (B and C) relate to the shape in 3D. Perhaps it needs to be calculated to an arc? I have been using values from the first line,  This is what it should look like in the end. Thank you for any time you may put in to this!

 We have integrated Codebeamer with Windchill PDMLink via OSLC and ThingWorx Flow. We created a custom field ,called[ Windchill ] to add the Windchill Link to the properties of codebeamer project trackers. Every time we need to add the URL of Windchill manually.Our query is how can we populate the field automatically with Windchill Link. Are there any steps we could follow? or we can add it manually only. 

I have 2 dropdowns one has parent equipments and second has child equipments.What I want to achieve is when I select parent equipment on one dropdown we should be able to view all child equipments on another dropdown PFA Issue I am facing is when I select parent equipment no child equipments are showing but when I select other parent equipment and then go back again I am able to see all child equipments of that specific parent equipment. I have a data table from where I am getting all the data. What I think issue is the second drop down is always showing data of previous parent equipment which I selected. I am using selected text change service is there any other way PFA

A bit of a long shot but ... I wonder, is it possble to embed the Mathcad calculation in Creo drawing? I'd imagine it would look like an image inserted into a drawing, but instead of a dumb image it would show the current Mathcad document. I'd imagine it could work similarly to how MS excel sheet can be embedded inside MS Word document - it looks like an image but if you double click it - an embedded excel opens up. I can find that it's possible to embed Mathcad document into the Creo model and use it to drive the model, but I am simply  looking for a way to display the mathcad document on the drawing. I am currently making a screenshot of a Mathcad and then inserting it into Creo. It does the job but I wonder if there is a smarter way to see embed a document rather than making a screenshot. Thank you!

Dear all,I'm on Creo 8.0.10.0 connected to WNC 12.0.2.10 and I'm configuring some custom AFX  profiles/connectors and equipments.With the first try with profiles I get the expected result, selecting the custom profile it will  take the autonumbering from windchill and also all parameter from start_mdl.cfg and relations from param_relations.txt.Then I tried to configure an equipment and i'm not able to have at the same time the autonumbering and the parameter populated correctly.In the customization\parts\equipment i've filtered out the equipments I dont want to see and then added to the correct subfolder the sel_list.txt to change the endcap_square from part_copy to part, in this way I'm having all the attribute/relations copied to the selected equipment but i'm not able to get the autonumbering and the part will remain with original name.To the other side if I keep the sel_list as it is, I receive the correct renumbering from Windchill but the equipment is not cont

Hi all,I have a MathCAD Prime worksheet to calculate a 2-d matrix called HL which itself is indexed with j. I need to calculate this matrix for j:=2..207 and I want each of these matrices to be saved to a comma separated .text file with a different name. I have figured out how, for a given value of j, I can save the file that I want, but I could not figure out how to do all this in a loop. I need a loop, or another way of doing this, so that I can save all those 206 files automatically. Many thanks for your help!Roman

Hi guys, I am attempting to automate finding the correct row with 3 inputs as shown attached in a spreadsheet using Mathcad prime 10. I have also attached the data in a Mathcad 10 prime file. There are some challenges with this, First, each column has multiple of the same values, so the normal linterp function cannot be used. I suppose a better option would be a combination of lookup and linterp. Any suggestions on how to best solve this? Cheers.
