Hi all, I have uploaded the part if anyone wants to have a look. I was wondering if anyone could help or give some ideas on this. The model looks like it is almost correct. I have looked online and it appears there's many discussions about this.  Maybe it is just the pitch; maybe the start point is incorrect; maybe an angled plane needs to be added? Apologies if this isn't a lot of information.Thank you for any input you can give.

Hello everyone!   There are 2 machines:1) windchill server2) worker serverWindchill version: 12.0.2.8 Creo View Adapter: 10.0   I'm trying to start worker, but always get the problem "Problem creating directory <directory_path>. Do not have write access"   I've tried 2 ways: ftp and windows shared folder, no one of them works properly and responses the same porblem There is no any access restriction to this folder, so I use like "All users = Full Control".Moreover I can without any problem connect from windchill machine to worker machine and manually create/delete files in this folder using Explorer to do this with Shared Folder and using cmd to do it with ftp. Maybe someone has already fixed it? Hi,I am trying to display an base64 image with the image widget, but the base64 string seems to hang the mashup builder when saving it. Questions:- Is there a max length of the sourceURL property?- How to get arround the mashup builder hanging when saving?- Another option would be to have a html widget and in it have a ordinary img element, can that be done and how? // Oskar

Hi everybody,I need this from change management;The change notixw is generated in the "open" state and the members role can do this. However, I want only the person who created the created "change notice" to be able to edit it in the design state.However, I cannot add the creator role to any role.Have you encountered anything like this before? Did you need it?How can I solve this without changing my product structure?How can I actively use the Owner role? Let me repeat my request;Anyone can create but I want only the creator to be editable. 

Is there any possible way to importing Material properties like density, Mass, etc. to creo from external file like Notepad or Excel?  

Hi Community,I have loaded windchill demo data using loader command and now I need to understand whether we have mBOM in Windchill server or not. How we can differentiate between different BOM structures available in the Windchill Server from the UI?  I went through some PTC articles and also youtube video where I found that we can have option of Electrical or Mechanical before starting Part Name, number etc. How I can enable that?Attaching ss for reference.  Thanks,Sid

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.9.0after new installation, logged as Administrator I started Creo Paramertic normally.But whem I am log on as common user, Creo did not start. Only when user is member of Administrators group, Creo starts, otherwise not.

Hello, I have a question about a startup files. If I would like to setup two startup files for parts and two for assemblies, let's say one for general design and one for tooling, each would have it's own set of parameters, which I would then call into assemblies and then further onto drawings. Now when I copy one from the other, and try to change the parameters on one, they also change on the other, why is that? How could I separate these startparts so they are completely standalone? I am using Creo 9.0.5.0 and am connected to Windchill release 12.1.2.5. For any info, thank you very much.

Is it my or Mathcad Prime 6 error?  

Currently, I see no way to have a "snap location' on the top right corner of my drawing that I can "snap" my BOM to every time I add one? I want to be able to input "table from file", hit my mapkey (which has the appropriate xy coordinates), then it places it into the correct location. However I need the table to be placed using the top right corner but all my tables all get placed from the top left corner and there seems to be no way to change that? My best method so far is to place my table, select it, hit my mapkey "F5", then click on my desired corner of the table, then my mapkey places it onto the correct xy coordinates that were included with my mapkey. Not a huge workaround, but you should be able to change where a table gets placed from right?If there's a better method that I'm not finding please share. Thank You!  

I am interested in Mathcad for the sole purpose of drawing contours based on spot elevations that are scattered (x, y, z), i.e. not in a unique grid. I'm testing Mathcad Prime 9 for this.I saw online that previous edition of Mathcad could do this, but I am unable to find the functionality in Mathcad Prime. Could you guide me to the speicifc process that I can use to achieve this. In summary, I have data points scattered in 3d space, with each data point having x, y, z coordinates. I want Mathcad to draw contours in 2D (axes representing x and y, with contours drawn between z values). I am trying to wrap my head around how layers are handled when exporting a drawing to a DXF or DWG. I have already discovered the issue where you cannot have the same entity on multiple layers, since the export will only place it on the first alphabetic layer that it appears on. However, I am struggling to get all the exported layers to accurately represent the ones in my Creo Parametric files. In my case, I have a number of sketches for a soft goods flat pattern. Each type of sketch (outlines, folds, seams, etc.) are assigned to their own layer. Those layers are then mapped to identically named layers in the export settings. The results, however, are inconsistent at best. While some of the exported layers do contain the correct items, many of the items simply get placed on a new layer named "0", and cannot be controlled by their original Creo layers. I cannot for the life of me see why this is the case. Does anyone here have experience with DXF/DWG exports, and could offer a

I have double-checked the function, but I can't seem to find the error. The error message I'm getting is "This value must be a function." It takes me several attempts at times to right mouse click a balloon leader in order to re-attach or move it. And then at times it comes right up? I've experimented with selecting within different tabs like Annotation, Tools, or layout, as well as selecting closer to the arrow, but it doesn't seem to help? Again, sometimes I have no problem but more often than not I get the text style or convert to draft entities menu instead of edit attachment and arrow style menu that I am looking for. Forgot to mention I am in Creo 9.0.4.0 drawing.
