I can't seem to get my license for PTC creo. Every time I enter my product code and account information it starts processing but then it suddenly closes. What should I do?

Initially posted in this topic   Hello,    i am hoping you can help me, i am able to build associated part and view it on a single level as build when comparing to the part structure, however, in an assembly BOM, the same part is showing as unassociated. Is there a step i am missing?

Hello,I am unable to get the Part BOM to populate correctly, I have associated the parts in the single level but in the multi-level, the part is not recognizing it. i am not sure how to fix this or what the root cause it. anyone else ever had this issue or have i misunderstood how to associate the partCreo 6 + Windchill 11 

When trying to compile the Windchill Customizations (developed originally using JDK 8/Windchill 11) using JDK 11 (Windchill 12) we are getting compilation issues due to several packages being accessible from multiple modules.   For ex: org.w3c.dom package is now included in jdk11 jar by default (Module Path), but is also present in ie3rdpartylibs, xmlParserAPIs and dom4j jars (Class path).   We understand that JDK 11 is enforcing a modularity check to ensure the same package is not referenced in multiple jars. However it is also understood that module-info.java is not necessary to be configured for JDK 8 to 11 migration. As long as the relevant jars are added to the classpath, the code should be able to compile using JDK 11 as well.   How does PTC handle these issues when working with JDK 11 and Eclipse (version 4.16)?    

Is it possible to add CAD Documents in the 'Description' relationship? The help center suggests so.https://support.ptc.com/help/wnc/r12.0.2.0/en/#page/Windchill_Help_Center%2FObjectOviewObjectRelationships.html%23However, we could only create/search for WTDocs in the described by table of a part. Any insights will be helpful

Hello,I am working on ThingWorx 9.4 and I try to use "Solution Framework" version 1.12.1 delivered by PTC, available on GitHub https://github.com/PTCInc/twx-solution-framework/releases. I applied the procedure described on gitHub,  including all extensions dependencies installation (here is the list of BB installed). When I open the Mashup PTC.SolutionFramework.Main_MU, the GetBuildingBlockList Method of Installed BuildBlocks fail with following alarms error :=> "Thing [PTC.SolutionFramework.Manager] Service [GetBuildingBlockList] error at line [2.0] : TypeError: Impossible method  "{1}" de {0}"and Warning=> "No Manager was found for identifier [PTC.ComponentManagement.Manager]"  I did not found any post that my help us to solve  this issue.Could you please help us to solve such issue  ? Regards,

I am using 20.6 Creo Elements direct,  When I am in annotation I can not change from INCH to metric as my default, I've tried changing the units, but they say they are already in MM, I also tried dimension properties but it will revert back to Inch after the selection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Greetings (New Creo User Here),   I am creating a simple U-shaped structure (see pic below) pinned at the large holes you see on the vertical channels (blue, one not shown to the left is a mirror image), connected to a front/back mirrored pair of horizontal channels (yellow) by 4 bolts at each end of the yellow beam. A mass is applied to the plate (red) resting on top of the yellow beams. This gives a total of two vertical channels, two horizontal channels, the plate, and 16 bolts (all identical).Colorized Components (1/2 of Structure)   I am using very stiff bolts with a much softer structural material (e.g., steel bolts with sheet aluminum), and am not worried about the bolts failing in tension. Good afternoon, we have a dilemma that we are trying to solve. We create multiple variations of parts books that need different part numbers for the same part.  Currently we manually add all the versions and profile accordingly. I would like to automate it if possible.   Example below Book 1 has part 123 Book 2 has part 123, but needs it to show up a A12 Book 3 has part 123, but needs it to show up a X2A   Is there a way to retrieve the correct number when building the publish?   Thanks   Bryon

Hi, I'm trying to get a set of data in a form where I can copy and paste it into a another application. It is two columns of data. The first is a range variable. The second is a calculation on the range variable.I've tried to get the two columns of data into an embedded Excel Component but just can't see how to do it. Getting confused between ranges versus vectors/matrices.Is there a way of converting the range variable into a vector?Any help would be much appreciated.  I thought if you can see the indices, it is a vector/matrix? Dave

We have a customer who has a number of RTUs on a GSM network. They current use a proprietary protocol to communicate with the RTUs - This protocol supports retrieving buffered data from the RTU after a communications interruption, but it does not have any security features like encryption or authentication. The RTUs support OPC-UA, so the customer wants to switch to using OPC-UA for the security it brings, but they also want to use the Historical Access part of the OPC-UA specification, to retrieved buffered data. A colleague of mine previously used Kepware as middleware between a DNP3 RTU and a SCADA that used OPC-DA - in this solution Kepware was able to backfill buffered DNP3 data coming from the RTU into the SCADA (over OPC-DA).Could KEPServerEX be used as middleware as follows:RTU ---(OPC-UA Historical Access)---> KEPServerEX ---(OPC-UA Data Access)---> SCADAIn other words, could KEPServer, retieve the buffered data from the RTU (OPC-UA HA) and backfill it into the
