I am attempting to import tags for a newly added Device. PLC is a Siemens S7-315-2 PN/DP. The PLC project was originally created in Netherlands with comments etc in a mix of English and Dutch language. Hi all, I am aware that this topic has been covered many times before, but I am a bit puzzled on how to achieve an iterated solve block in Mathcad Prime 4.0. I cannot attach my worksheet, unfortunately, but I will attach an image to illustrate what I am trying to do below.   I have one equation in terms of x, and one in terms of i. I want to find all the (x,i) points where the values of these functions are equal. The way I thought to do it was to somehow nest a solve block in a for loop.  I've seen previous posts that use the "Find" function, but I guess in prime, I can only use the "find" function inside a solve block.  The problem is that I'm looking for pretty good resolution in my data points. This is why in the attached image, i is a range variable going from 0 - 1200 mA. My end goal is to get a matrix of x values that correspond to those i values. I truly appreciate the help, and I hope I'm not beating a dead horse too much! Thank

Dear community,I am trying to connect to a device with UCON;I can communicate with the device with ASCII strings over a terminal;unfortunately it doesnt work if I enter my ASCII string in Kepware.The device only recognizes ASCII strings; if I copy my ASCII string from a converter with the CR and LF into the terminal it works and responds.If I try to insert the string into Kepware's Interface it doesnt work.Manully inputing the string and entering  ALT+13 for CR and ALT+10 for LF also doesnt work.The device doesnt answer to the string. How else can I enter CR and LF into the interface? I can't seem to find anything about it on the net or help.Thanks in advance.

Example: If I click on a button opacity of one part should be  1 and rest whole model's opacity should be 0.5 & if I click on another button 2 part's opacity should be 1 and rest whole model's opacity should be 0.5, how can I achieve this?   Thanks in Advance.

Dear community, is it possible to export from Creo Illustrate to the format JT?I've seen there is an add-on for Parametric that adds the JT export format. Can it be done also with Illustrate? Or is it something that can be implemented worker side in windchill?We have the necessity to export in this format and we would like to explore the possibilities, if any... If I export in IGES or STEP, is there a recipe file to be edited in order to define export preferences? Thanks in advance

Hello, I wrote an API that queries all WTParts that match a search string. The query, however, should only return those WTParts that are in a specific project. Currently I am using the following 2 Search conditions for this (only parts of the actual QuerySpec):  This query works, but as I figured out it only returns WTParts that are IN the project and not just part of it. Most WTParts or WTDocuments are just shared to the project and existed before the project was created.Those parts and documents then have a different container than 'MyProject', so the query won`t be able find and return those. I tried a couple of things, I also searched through the database to find any connections between the shared parts and the project, but I was not able to find anything useful. Is there a way to query for all WTParts that are in the project (so basically what you see when you click the project in Windchill) Best regards

I'm using Creo 7 I've been trying to somehow combine the mechanisms feature with simp reps. Currently, I have multiple instances of a sub assembly in my top level assembly. The multiple instances are to show different stages of my machine. Each instance is shown in a different state (example cylider up/cylinder down / slide up/ slide down.  In the Solidworks world, I would just have multiple configurations and if I click on one it then shows me what I want to see. Is there a Creo Equivelant to this? The mechanisms feature sort of worked, except I had to drag all the components, then if I wanted to shown and hide items I then first had to exit mechanisms/hide/go back to mechanisms. Example SituationConfig 1) Cylinder up / gate open (I dont need to show it moving, just show it up and in postion with the ability to edit the view (hide/show) Config 2) Cylinder down/ gate close (same as the last item) Config 3) Cylinder down/ gate close/ cylinder 2 up&nbsp

I'm working w/ Creo 4.0 M150 thru a remote site VPN connection.  Models are coming out of Windchill.  Every 60 minutes, almost w/o fail,  there is a lag in the rotation of models on the screen. The only way to recover is to restart Creo.  However, from some testing, I've found that if I disconnect the network line or turn off wifi (if I'm using it), the lag will immediately disappear and everything is back to normal.  Reconnect the network and the lags reappears.  This issue does not appear when I'm at my desk, off the VPN. I've tried working w/ an offline connection to Windchill and that does not help.  I can't see any process going rogue and the network doesn't seem to be saturated either.   I've updated Nvidia drivers and all updates have been applied to this Dell 7760 laptop running Windows 10.  It's quite frustrating.  I know we are woefully out of date w/ our Creo install so any help appreciated. Thanks.

How does bonded interface in Creo simulate works like? Does it work similar to weld? Or it works as a contact? Or it will just not let the components penetrate into each other?
