I'm trying to install creo 5 but every time I enter the product code, I get an error. I've tried multiple times to resolve the issue but so far nothing has worked. I even tried adding a new user to my laptop to reinstall, but it still didn't work. I need to get it done asap since its been bugging me for a while. Instructions I followed are attached.

Does anyone know if the dim modify slider can be used outside of sketch mode? In some cases it would be beneficial to use a dynamic drag handle or slider when modifying features with an internal sketch. In this example the scaling dim is in the sketch and can not be dynamically changed unless in sketch mode as shown here. It would be nice to have this function at the feature level without entering sketch mode.        

Hi,I'm testing the new Creo version 9.0.0.0.I detect strange behavior on my very simple macros.Simple example: macro that starts the rename command (File >>> Manage file >>> Rename).In Creo 8.0.0.0 the "New file name" text field remains selected before being immediately modified or copied.Creo 9.0.0.0 this field is deselected.Weird thing is that if I manually perform the above steps the text field is correctly selected, while if I run the macro the text field is deselected ...I have developed thousands of macros but in no way can I solve the problem brilliantly.Can anyone help me?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.2 and Datecode with CPS 11.2.0.0Is any API or customization available to retrieve the PLM user email address to be used to send email notifications?Email is to be used in customization provided in Article - CS63309.Or any way to retrieve "DefaultNotificationSenderEmail".

I came across this while doing some testing with ESI: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS289128?&language=en&posno=10&q=ESI%20substitutes&source=search  Unchanged Alternates/Substitute Parts and Reference Designators are not published to Windchill Enterprise System Integration after BOM Modification I saw this and pinned it for later but knew it might be a problem. I think I found a work around. In the distribution target setup there is a setting call "Publish only Incremental changes for a modified assembly when publishing a BOM". Changing this to "no" shifts the components to added only but had the effect of displaying all the substitutes.  You have to give up the incremental but in my case, we were deleting the BOM lines and re-adding each time. Do you think there are downsides to using this setting I might not be seeing?

Service A, is used for three different Solutions. Solution A users shouldn't be able to see the data of  Solutions B from Service A. How can I restrict this ?@slangley @PaiChung Thanks,Shashi.

Hi All, First post on the forum. I was wondering if anyone could provide guidance on setting up Thingworx HA with a VMware Load balancer, similar to the Azure guide I found in the IoT Tips section. I've used the following guide to date, which references a HAProxy config.Load Balancers for ThingWorx High Availability (ptc.com) What i'm finding is that I get SSO timeouts when navigating to the URL but only when the two Thingworx nodes are online during my testing. When reviewing the connected users I see multiple sessions for my name, each time I refresh the SSO error I get a new session. I understand through talking to PTC Tech support that this is a Load Balancer Persistence (Sticky Sessions) issue. Tech support call raised with PTC and VMware to resolve, but if anyone has seen this before i'd be grateful to hear how you resolved it. Thingworx HA Setup Version 9.3Ping Federate (9.3.3) CAS / SP = ADFSThingworx Foundation x2Connection Servers

We have the case where a vertical pdf (portrait) is always printed horizontal (landscape). We have the printer settings to automatically rotate and scale but this does not help. With a previous version of Creo View Lite this did not happen, only with Creo View Lite 8.1.I cleared cache but this does not help.Only when the user looks at the orientation and set this properly, then the print is okay.He uses the clipboard to print long drawing batches and so it is extra work to always check and set this.

Hi, i am doing some calculations on a project and am quite new to Mathcad. When using the solve block i keep on getting an error and i dont know how to solve this one. Any idea where i might be wrong? 

Dear everyone I have some question about using Element drafting 20.1.4 as below ;1. I create geometry whatever line rectangle circle, it show black box instead show value . What cause of this problem ?2. When I create rectangle, it not parallel with monitor as capture screen. (Please see capture screen in attached file for clearly understand )If I guess, all of this problem cause from Evaluation mode ?   I'm not sure. Anyone who have experience about this problem. Hi all, I am looking to simulate permanent magnets' interactions based on the magnets' dimensions, distance from one another, orientations, their field strength, and other respective parameters to calculate the force they exert on each other. Is this something that is possible in Creo? Has anybody attempted this in Creo before? I am open to other non-PTC suggestions for this, too. I know there is magnet simulation software in Python, so maybe I'll take a stab at that. Thank you in advance!

Hi everybody, I have a question about the Pick From List selection method, hopefully I am just missing something here. I am working in a drawing file, using Component Display to blank out a repeated feature, and reveal other information in the model (only on one particular drawing view). The feature is in a linear pattern, so components are all lined up behind one another on the 2D view, and sometimes there are up to 20 instances to hide. I use Pick From List to select each component individually, holding ctrl to select multiple instances at once; but this requires me to open the list, select one instance, and then 'OK' to close the list, before opening it right back up again, from the exact same spot in the model! This takes a ridiculous amount of clicks to complete, and is painfully slow. Is there any way I could be selecting these items quicker? How to save sketches created inside Creo drawing so that it can be used later for another drawing?

Hello!I want to buy a new laptop to work with CREO. I work with large assemblies (>1000 parts). There is a shortage of graphics cards on the market. My choices are:i5-11400H/16GB RAM/T600 4GB (lenovo P15v 2gen.) ori7-11850H/32GB RAM/RTX A2000 4GB (P15 2gen.).Which of the above configurations will be better? There is not much information about the A2000 card.I found a document that says the A2000 is CREO certified. Does anyone use RTX in their computer? 

I am trying to see if the new version of mathcad prime is compatible with my older mathcad files. However after watching the tutorial i have discovered that the converter tab is greyed out. How am I supposed to try the trial version to see if my files are compatible if the converter is greyed out? Is there something that needs to be enabled on the account?
