I have an INFOTABLE, with Column Names RT-1, RT-3, RT-2.Issue 1: Client want the Order of the Fields/Columns to be RT-1, RT-2, RT-3.Issue 2:      var oldEntry = new Object(); oldEntry.RT-1= startDate; //ERROR, SINCE RT-1 has "-" in the middle.       Thanks !!

Hi , I am having one use case in that i need to check how many times a end user can change/update the particular field value. for Example ID(Primary key) UserID 1 101 2 102 above table there will be restriction to update userID (Max 2 times can change/update a userID for ID 1) same will be for ID 2. how we can achieve this in TWX 9.1.   Thanks 

Hi all, My job is to find and plot the Fourier series of the wave(figure 8.png) up to a sensible n value.   Problems: 1- When I try to compute the f(t) using the symbolic engine it gives me (Error 1 and 2.png) 2- When I try to plot this, I get another error something along the lines of plot failed because of 'complex and Nans' or something along those lines.   I have attached my file and used legacy symbolic engine but still does not work.

I recently found a tutorial using fusion 360 to design a cycloid, but it does not really line up to how creo works (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQ6LQBFZXmU).   Is there any way i do an axial pattern as in the step at -8:25- and offset the same as -9:03-?   If there is any easy way do design a cycloid in creo im all ears, i have found a document creating one using parameters and relations but its all in mandarin and the relations dont make any sense or match up with other equations ive seen.

Hello everyone,   I have created a network and it looks properly under Network Hierarchy tab. Then I bind the Network data to Tree Widget via GetNetworkConnectionsWithTemplate service. When I hit view mashup it displays some nodes in wrong places. The configuration of Tree Widget is as follows: IDField: to, LabelField: to, ParentIDField: from, TooltipField: to, ValueField: to and rest of them are default. I'm not sure if my configuration is wrong or the widget has a bug.  I'm attaching some screenshots to help you to understand.   Best, Kaan

Greetings.I'm trying to create a mashup that allows me to browse Kepware channels and items, like the Discover tab from the industrial thing page on the composer. I have created "custom" versions of the BrowseItems and BrowseGroups services that allow me to choose an IndustrialGateway to execute said services on the Kepware chosen on the mashup. Their output an infotable with the same Data Shape as their "stock" versions.I'm trying to use a tree widget to display the channel structure like in the screenshot above, but I cannot find a way to do so correctly. I can display the root and the first levels of the tree (although not in the way I expect):   but when I try to go deeper into the structure the tree just disappears:   I've tried to use my custom service to change dots into slashes for the FullPath rows, but it didn't help.Any suggestions?Thank you for your time.

I've added users to the Administrators group and Factory Users group as well. But they are unable to view all the tiles, they are just able to see the Thingworx Composer and Demo Manufacturing Planning. What are the permissions I've to give them or Groups I need to create for the same. Below is the Screenshot of the mashup which shows Composer and Manufacturing Planning.

Hey,   atm we are planning to build a worker guidance PoC with ThingWorx and Operator Advisor.   I'm looking for a tutorial/course at PTC academy/Youtube etc. on how to install & use the Operator Advisor with ThingWorx properly.   1) Does anybody of you have a good recommendation? 2) Is it a good idea to implement a worker guidance with Operator Advisor and Thingworx? Seeing this error in the application logs: "Internal Error: /appl/thingworx/ThingWorxStorage/repository/SystemRepository/Fonts (Is a directory) ".   The folder is available in the repository and required permissions are also applied. Unsure why this error is being thrown. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I too am looking for this too. I would like to show a 3D cross section of an assembly in my experience, actually turn it on and off. If just showing i could do that in Illustrate or Creo. I feel like this should be something that can be easily done in Vuforia with control of a clipping plane for the camera.

I started working with Creo 4.0 at a new company without Windchill being configured correctly. Already some 3D parts were made and saved in the local (windchill) workspace.   After a few days the Windchill server location was changed and I lost all my 3D parts and assemblies.   Is there any way to recover these files? It was about a week work, so that would be nice.   Thank you in advance.

I want to change the display of all dimensions in a previously built model to 3 decimal places in part mode. PTC support documents the following steps to do this. I follow until step 6. Where is there a format tab and column in part mode? Menu mapper is not finding it and doc search is not fruitful. Can anyone elaborate on step 6 below?   In Creo Parametric 3.0 and later versions: Ctrl+F or Tools > Find Set Look for and Look by to Dimension Click Find Now Click in the items found area and click Ctrl+A to select all dimensions Click the arrows icon to transfer items from items found to the Items Selected section of the Search Tool dialog box > Click Close Change the Decimal Places value as desired in Format column in Format tab

In the image what I would like is marked in red: I used a letter linked to the sword symbol (but I could have used others) because when it is used as an argument of a function in a reference file, it is sure that, in the calling program (s) (in which I will be careful not to use that symbol, linked to the sword symbol), no conflicts arise.

Hello,   According to https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/apps/r9.0/en/#page/thingworx_apps%2FCustomizing_the_Apps%2Fcalculating_kpis.html%23 the Effectiveness is calculated using  PRI*PQ/APT   In my current case it means: 4.513*23/140   But my effectiveness is 45% instead of 74 %. What am I doing wrong?

Looking for a way to add multiple models to a drawing at once.   I'm detailing an assembly with 75+ parts (primarily sheet metal) and I'll have to detail the whole assembly and each part in one drawing package, so I will have the assembly + all 75 of the models in one drawing. Is there a faster way than individually adding ALL 75+ models to the drawing? Is there a way to make a macro? A built in feature?

In Creo, a bounding box shows minimal box size in which you could put your components, models, or assemblies.The box shows the limit in the X, Y, and Z-axis. we can see the bounding box in creo view. Please check the attached screenshot of the bounding box with X, Y and Z-axis in creo view. Is there any way to see these bounding boxes in thingworx mashup? i have checked thingview widget but could not find any properties in thingview widget where we can set the values of boxes.

Hi,   I see a lot of logs generated by PLC tag attribute changes in the logs, these logs don't mean much to me, and there are more remote devices, so they generate a lot of logs, can I configure somewhere to turn off this kind of logs? Thank you!   Best Regards, Chason    

Hi there,   I'm Steven. this is the very first post on the communuty. My creo version is 7.0. I tried to import the dxf/dwg file when i sketch. A window will show up to warn there is too much entity in the file you are going to import. It ask you whether to select certain entities to import but not all of them. Then, a sub window will pop out, and there is no entity showing on that window. You can see them only by choosing them. I tried this on 4.0, and it works perfectly. I encounter this only on 6.0/7.0 Do you guys come to this before? Dear Team,   I am working on project in which I want to show Thingworx Sensor Values in Vuforia Studio. While working on that I am able to fetch things and data from Thingworx and able to see all data in Vuforia Studio Preview mode, but whenever I'm using Vuforia View from Ipad, Hololens & Android Tablet it's shows only labels or text. I'm using latest version of Vuforia Studio: 9.0.1 Vuforia Experience Service(On Premises): 9.0.0 Thingworx Version: 8.5.0 Thanks!!

Sometime recently, maybe a week or 2 ago, Creo 4 (M130) started taking a long time for the file open dialog box to come up. I've timed it, turns out its about a minute, plus/minus a few seconds. I had been ignoring the problem thinking it was a large workspace issue until I got fed up with it this morning and started troubleshooting the issue. So far I have: deleted my PDMLink workspaces and deleted the .wf file...didn't improve performance Made a workspace with only one item ...didn't improve performance Went offline from pdmlink...didn't improve performance cleaned out my working directory ...didn't improve performance check hard drive space (250 gb available on a 500gb drive ...didn't improve performance removed all my config.pro/config.sup files from loading...didn't improve performance compared my server ping speed to another user without issue with seemingly identical results (+/- a millisecond) checked my std.out file and cleaned up all the errors in there (config.pro erro
